Cela pourrait être votre rêve de vacances devenu réalité! Découvrez le charme d'antan de ce chalet en bois des années 1860, avec un front de mer absolu, assis fièrement dans l'un des endroits les plus spectaculaires jamais créés! La maison et la véranda sont parfaitement orientées, face à Granite Island, aux Norfolk Pines of Victor et jusqu'au Bluff. Il offre également une vue sur les zones humides de la rivière Hindmarsh, regorgeant d'oiseaux. Cette propriété incroyable est privée et isolée, et la vue vous coupera le souffle!

Marchez jusqu'à la plage de sable via une piste rugueuse au bas de votre pelouse, ou asseyez-vous sur la belle grande véranda en bois avec votre livre préféré en dégustant une tasse de thé ou peut-être en sirotant un G & T! Les enfants peuvent jouer au cricket ou à la pétanque sur la pelouse. Profitez du frisson du train Cockle en passant juste devant la porte arrière!

Les vues sont tout simplement spectaculaires - c'est le cercle habillé de Victor Harbor! Il y a 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains avec un fabuleux salon / salle à manger qui s'étend sur le devant du chalet et profite pleinement des vues offertes. La cuisine a une vue où les gens font la queue pour faire la vaisselle! Une salle de jeux spacieuse avec table de billard et deuxième télévision à l'arrière de la maison offre un espace supplémentaire pour le plaisir des enfants! Il y a un garage fermé pour 2 voitures offrant un parking sécurisé hors rue.

Il y a la climatisation à cycle inversé, un lave-vaisselle, deux téléviseurs avec DVD, NBN WiFi et une table de billard.

Tranquil and charming beach house

Clean cozy and charming to stay at this lovely well appointed house that allowed our beloved family dog and the views were gorgeous but the only let down was that we couldn’t see the sunsets or sunrises at this time of the year also the steep driveway on a dangerous bend on the busy main road into Victor Harbour was problematic and made reversing out of the driveway a bit difficult

Great location missing a few basics

The location was amazing. Missing some basics like kitchen staples. There was 1 dart. Tight squeeze on the pool table - which was in average condition. Nothing to tidy it up with. Dusty and cobwebs in blinds. You can’t open any doors or windows as there’s no screens.

Lovely property withthe best views. Very neat and clean. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. Only a very short stroll to the beach with direct access from the garden. Thankyou for our stay in this wonderful property.

Amazing Property

Property was amazing, views incredible, very relaxing unwinding on the verandah with the added bonus of allowing pets inside and outside of the property. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

Amazing view but requires maintenance

First of all the view is stunning & we really enjoyed our stay. It’s an older style property but we appreciated its charm & space. Secondly the property manager Melinda from PetLet was extremely prompt in responding to our maintenance requests and did everything in her power to make our stay a positive experience. Pros - check in was a breeze; double garage & remote great for getting in off the busy road; comfortable beds & pillows in bedrooms 1 & 2 (no-one slept in the bunk room); good air con; plenty of cutlery and crockery; lots of kitchen bench space; & the dishwasher, coffee maker & microwave worked well. Cons - the following comments are intended as constructive feedback, and we hope they will be taken as such. The maintenance man fixed what he could, however the owners need to do some maintenance to bring the property up to scratch for its price point in the rental market. . Things don’t have to be glamorous but they need to be functional, eg main bathroom cistern leaking slightly, en-suite hot tap screeches & cold tap drips (we were told the washers have been replaced but there’s still a problem). The grout in the en-suite shower looks very grubby & the frame is surrounded by a grubby open drain! There needs to be a wardrobe provided in main bedroom & also one in the back living area as the third bunk bedroom is tiny & there’s only a small chest of drawers. It would be okay for young children but crowded for teens and adults. The rods to control the blinds are missing on several blinds & the venetian cord in the en-suite is broken. The front sliding screen door needs to be replaced as it comes off the track. The canvas blind outside the side kitchen window has started to tear and needs to be repaired before it gets worse. The front veranda rail & gates are low & could be climbable. The stained carpets were off putting but hopefully they were clean. The lounge in the front living area was very low so it was hard for us 60+ to get up out of it The secure back yard needs a tidy up & side garden needs weeding - could be problem with long haired dogs. The stove top is old & we had trouble adjusting the heat & fitting our pans on it, so we requested and appreciated the provision of an electric frypan. Finally we would have appreciated it if towels had been provided, as we flew from NSW. NB - we couldn’t find he property manual. Overall we loved our stay, and with that wonderful view it deserves 5 stars with more maintenance.

The property is dated.

Cleanliness - 3/5 - Kettle was covered in oily residue not cleaned. Carpets in lounge room stained. Lounge was uncomfortable. Screen door comes off track which made it impossible to have the sliding door open for fresh air. Back yard is a tripping hazard with un even paths. Maybe removing all the leaves, gum nuts and cutting back plants for easy access.

Cosy , great views

We enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage by the sea . Very functional house , a little rustic but very comfortable . Well equipped for cooking at home . Loved watching the whales and dolphins . Great heating .

Lovely cottage with beautiful outlook

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the McCracken cottage ...my only reservations would be having to supply towels and a 4 pm check in .....otherwise 5 stars all the way ......
