Détendez-vous dans les chaises berçantes sur le porche arrière en regardant les dauphins sauter dans l'eau tandis que la brise de mer souffle doucement sur votre visage. Admirez le lever du soleil tout en sirotant un café sur la terrasse surplombant l'eau salée. Prenez un verre de vin romantique sur le quai au coucher du soleil sur l'eau. Regardez vos enfants pêcher, craquer et nager depuis le quai de la cour arrière. Nagez dans la piscine à côté donnant sur l'eau salée. Jouez au golf sur deux parcours de golf 18 trous Tom Fazio et Arthur Hills le long des ruisseaux de marée menant à la voie navigable interco-côtière.

La villa voisine est également disponible pour plusieurs familles qui souhaitent être proches les unes des autres mais ne partagent pas nécessairement les mêmes logements.

Dataw Island possède une piscine (à 1 pâté de maisons) donnant sur l'eau, un centre de remise en forme complet (à 8 pâtés de maisons) avec une piscine intérieure et un jacuzzi, une marina, un club-house avec pub avec une télévision grand écran et de la bière au robinet (à 1 pâté de maisons), Har -Tru courts de tennis en terre battue (1 pâté de maisons), croquet et des kilomètres de pistes cyclables et pédestres.

Hunting Island Beach est à seulement 10-15 minutes avec un pass complémentaire pour le surf, le bombardement et le peignage de la plage.

Villa on Dataw Island

We have stayed at the Villas many times in the last few years since we bought a lot there and are waiting to build. This one was one of the most equipped one we have been to. It was the first one we have been to that we didn’t have to run to the store for extra towels and toilet paper. One of the breakers went out and they responded right away to help us out. Other than the rain we had a very nice weekend. Thank you

Wedding weekend

Great place to stay for event at the clubhouse. We were able to walk to the wedding and rehearsal dinner. Every possible kitchen gadget was available, we didn't need them but that's a plus. Would definitely stay again.

High quality furniture and bedding. For a smaller place it accommodated us very well, enjoyable setup for a large family. The dock was great, the crab pot was fun to use and the kids loved it. Super nice pool area, very convenient. Nice access to community center for a workout as well

Great family vacation home away from home!

Our family of 4 had a great week on Dataw Island. Villa was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. It was spacious enough for our family of 4, but also felt cozy. Kitchen was very well-stocked with various condiments, pots/pans, utensils. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return in the future! Dataw Island is a little remote, so anything we wanted to do in town or elsewhere was at least a 10-15 minute drive, but we knew that going in and loved being away from the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful Home, Disappointing Owner Experience

The home, island, and setting are very nice. We learned that the owner is challenging to work with and misrepresented circumstances to manipulate her desired outcome unnecessarily. Despite this, we are thankful that it ultimately worked out; our son's wedding weekend was a dream come true.

Talk about Treasure Island...Dataw Island is a treasure

If you are looking for a nice clean villa that has everything you need including with a water view, patio too, wonderful friendly community where you can play golf, bocce ball, croquet, be poolside, walk the community path, workout, kayak, boat, fish, eat at the Club... whew! And if you want to leave the island and go explore other communities- you are in a central spot. Owners are fabulous. Sorry we had to leave but we will be back.

Dataw Island villas

We had a wonderful stay at the Dataw Island Villa. This setting is amazing, and the area of the villas is an ideal location on the island. We enjoyed walking to the pool to swim, walking to the pier, exploring the island via bicycle and golf carts and on foot, and relaxing on the back deck enjoying the views. Would absolutely stay here again. Also Heide was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Thank you!!

Great place

The house was fantastic. Clean and fabulously located. A two minute walk to the pool (if that). Beautiful area to walk and felt very, very safe . The twin beds are fine for kids but not so much for an adult. This is the only negative comment I have and really don't see it as a negative. My son said the bed was "awesome" , my 75 year old dad said the bed was a little tight for him. So take it for what it is worth. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. Heidi had everything written out for you and had lots of the necessities available. Book this place and you will not be disappointed!!

Unforgettable, our new favorite getaway!

So incredible! The house was clean, roomy, and stocked with everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe and was full of fun amenities. Such a great part of SC... we don't live far away but it made us feel like a true vacation. Can't say enough, it's our new favorite and we plan on returning very soon!

Great views from the back deck! Lots of things to do, golf, fish, bike, boat, beautiful beach near by, close to Beaufort and an easy day trip to both Charleston and Savanah. The owner was great to work with.

Dataw Island is a little slice of heaven. My stay at this Villa was very relaxing and was very comfortable. The view is amazing! The owner could not be more accommodating. She quickly answers any questions and truly wants you to have a fabulous experience.

Tom is a Geologist and teaches Geophysics and Heide teaches pediatric nursing. Tom grew up in Anderson, SC, and Heide was raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. They have lived in many locations, including Colorado, Texas, and South Carolina. Both love the outdoors and relaxing with family, friends and our pets. We believe in sharing the Dataw Island experience with as many people as possible!

The water is just 30 feet from the deck overlooking Jenkin's Bay! Watch the dolphins frolicking as the sun sets off the dock in the back yard, play in the club pool next door and enjoy Killian's on tap at clubhouse/ private pub one block away. A completely relaxing experience to rejuvenate the soul!
