Wonderful!!

The cabin was amazing, very peaceful, quiet and private. We were looking for a long weekend get away from a few busy weeks of work and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The quietness of the cabin inside and the sounds of the creek flowing outside is just what we needed. The cabin was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Thank you Ms. Jennifer offering a wonderful place. We will definitely be returning!

Very Relaxing Stay

Thank you so much for letting us borrow your home. The kids loved the creek even though it was pretty chilly during our stay. The youngest loved the stairs. I will definitely recommend this home to friends and family.

Perfect mountain retreat

A beautiful three-story log cabin home on a perfectly flowing creek branch, just below the two balconies, in a private mountain community. The beds were very comfortable, the water pressure was great and there’s 2 1/2 bathrooms, which is a blessing. Some mornings it was difficult to get motivated due to the beautiful sounds of the creek flowing below the balconies and the trees surrounding the home. It was just so calm and soothing. The evenings were filled with 1 million tiny lights from the fireflies surrounding the property.

Nice, clean and comfortable Property. Shaky internet service

We enjoyed the property a lot. The illuminated stairway to the creek was awesome! We lost the heater a couple of days before the end of our rental, but the property manager was able to provide us with space heaters and firewood. Our only issue was the intermittent internet connection. There is no cell service in the area and looks like the property had satellite TV and one point, but was cancelled. The DSL based internet was up about 65% of the time. When down, we felt very isolated. Recommend Starlink internet service, which is quite reliable and affordable.

Great Secluded Mountain Getaway

We had an awesome vacation at this cabin. It is right on a rushing creek that you can hear inside. I don't think we closed the doors or windows the whole time we were there. Right up the road is the Tusquittee Tavern. It is a nice bar where you can listen to local music and get a drink without driving into town. Everything was clean and as expected. Great stay. Note: We had trouble finding it at first, once you go in the gate keep on driving around the mountain a good ways and you can't miss it.

Peaceful and serene

A beautiful house situated on a very appealing calming creek. The creekside retreat with fire pit and chairs was enjoyed by all. A little hard to get to but worth the effort. Our granddaughters enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the evening pilgrimages of the local wildlife. The only thing that wasn't up to par was the gas grill,it was filthy and full of cigarette butts and the kids said they would have liked at least one TV to be a flat screen. I personally found early mornings on the bottom porch with a good book to be quite therapeutic. Overall a great experience,would love to go back.

Wonderful retreat

My family and I had a great time relaxing and enjoying the quiet and peaceful environment. Make sure to follow the directions they give you. Your GPS and cell service go out just before you get to their area. If you fear heights, it's not the best place for you. Make sure to get there while its light out, I wouldn't get there past 7:00pm. You need time in case you get lost. Once they give you the address, get on google maps and earth. Really try and take a good look to be comfortable. Not trying to scare anyone one away, just be prepared. Kitchen had all the things you would find in a typical kitchen. If you have lived your life in the city, some things will be very different. It is well water and has a different smell to it if you have never experienced it. I'm not used to it, we should have brought a More water bottles to drink, other than plain water to drink, we were fine. There is a home phone if you need to use it. No cell or internet service, we LOVED that. Cabin is decorated nicely and very nice and cozy. I was unsure of what to expect before we arrived, when we did, it exceeded my expectations. Pictures don't even come close to the fell of the cabin, it's much bigger than I expected as well. If you like ribs and BBQ, you must go to "Rib Country" wonderful place to eat, not too expensive. I can't have gluten and I believe everything there is gluten free except the bread. Hope this is helpful, I would definitely recommend this. It is not handicap accessible, I wouldn't imagine anything in the mountains is.

North Carolina Cabin

I spent a month on my own here from mid-March to mid-April and loved it.This is a beautiful cabin in a safe, secluded and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen island is great for making meals. There are multiple areas to relax in the cabin. The water pressure and heat in the showers is fantastic as well. Not to mention the two balconies, the creekside deck, and indoor/outdoor fireplaces.The nearby towns of Hayesville and Hiawassee are quaint with beautiful views all around. I recommend visiting the trails around Lake Chatuge, and for indoor activity to visit the Hayesville Rec Center.10 out of 10 communication from Jennifer as well.Be aware that you will likely not have cellphone service in the cabin. The internet is okay, but it will be significantly better soon now that fiber cables are laid down and will be hooked up to the cabin.

Last minute getaway

The cabin is located beautifully up the mountain with a relaxing creek behind it. It was just the right time of year also for viewing the fall leaves. There are many antique stores in the area plus fall festivals everywhere. We had a great time in the area. The cabin has wonderful charm on the inside with fireplace in the corner. Very comfortable and relaxing.

What you see is what you get (in a very good way)

The house was just as described. There was no surprised and we were very happy. The creek is lovely, and we enjoyed taking a coffee on the porch listening to it. The kids were sleeping downstairs and they loved having the entire floor for them (and the adults loved it too). It felt very relaxing. The kitchen was very well stocked. We love the aera and we will consider coming back to this house. Thank you, guys, for sharing this great property with us.

Private Creekside property

Nice tree-surrounded creekside property not far from Hayesville, NC. located at end of road in gated community. 2 large porches overlooking noisy creek. Kitchen and great room and powder room on main. Master and another bedroom upstairs. Another Bed/bath with additional family room and laundry downstairs. (this lower level is accessible at driveway level from porch entry). Quick response to any questions by Jennifer.
