Don't look any further! This is your Tanunda dream destination
Fabulous residence for friends or a family spending time in the Barossa. An extremely clean, well appointed home within walking distance to cafes and shops. Excellent communication with owners. You won't be disappointed!
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home. Absolutely fantastic location each night a short walk to dinner, with so many great restaurants right there.
We loved the special touches the host had waiting for us.
Thank you
This home exceeded all expectations- cleanliness, attention to detail was outstanding! The location to cafes, supermarket and local shopping was all within walking distance. Barossa wineries were a short drive away. The house had an open fire and a hot tub adding to the overall luxury and the cheese board on arrival was appreciated. Totally recommend this house.
If you are looking for somewhere with everything in walking distance to Tanunda, then this is it.
Great for just 2 of you or a group with great outside entertainment area
The property was fantastic. We stayed with another 2 couples. Beautifully appointed, very comfy beds, great kitchen and living spaces inside and out, and donât forget the spa! Highly recommend.
This was such a beautiful place to stay. The attention to detail, surprises here and there (especially in the fridge), the beautful setup and it was the perfect location for our 3 day exploration of the Barossa Valley.
Thank you!
This property is perfectly situated to all the best wineries for tasting. The house is well appointed and very comfortable.
We will come again đđđđ„đ·đ„
Visiting Barossa to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday & dine at Hentley Farm. We needed accom for ourselves and 1 adult. Beautifully styled house with lots of thoughtful provisions. Being winter we thoroughly enjoyed the spa tub and open fireplace. Beds were super comfortable. Great location on the main street of Tanunda. We hope to return with friends and enjoy this sanctuary again.
We had such a wonderful stay! The property was beautifully presented and immaculately clean, with many thoughtful extras. We loved the welcoming touches such as the cheeseboard of local produce, and the fireplace set up ready for us to light on our first night in the house. This house is also well-located, only a short walk to many local restaurants, bars and shops. It's an excellent base to explore the many attractions of the Barossa Valley. Our host was very helpful and communicated promptly with us. Thank you for hosting us in this lovely home!
K & P
As soon as you walk through the gate, your experience starts at this GORGEOUS PROPERTY! The attention to detail, from the charm of the building itself, to the choice of interior decorating, to the consideration of all the little things one may need whilst staying is just so thoughtful. We certainly chose the perfect property for our 10yr wedding anniversary as it oozes romance!! The entire home was spotless, which was also very noted, as we've entered numerous places that have been no where near the level expected, this property exceeded all expectations which was deeply appreciated by us. The property is also amazingly appointed as it's literally a short walk up the street towards many main street Tanunda things to do, and a short drive to many close by wineries. The ouĂŸdoor firepit was beautiful in the afternoon, but the indoor open fireplace was our absolute favourite. The host was excellent and we thank you dearly for our time spent.
We were pretty disappointed from arrival to check out, staying 3 nights.
the breakfast offering is not a continental breakfast for 4 or 5 adults. 4 mini packs of cereal (coco pops and special K), one individual pack of porridge, and 2 breakfast bars. There was jam and honey but no bread.
And the cheese platter of unwrapped cheese was unappealing and potentially unsafe. Perhaps provide a whole uncut piece. Again, a few nuts dried fruits, and 3 strawberries does not make a platter for 4 or 5 people. There were apples in a fruit bowl but they looked pretty tired.
Many of the kitchen staples were past the use by date . The olive oil has a best before of 2004. Itâs almost due for its 2nd lot of long service leave.
Some of the crockery was dirty so we had to do a load in the dishwasher. The fridge was also dirty, especially the vegetable drawer and the freezer. We did not appreciate having to clean the place in the first few hours of checking in. The freezer door handle was missing and the fridge was hard to shut.
The dust in places was thick, especially on the fake plants and shower heads. The plug in a bathroom basin jammed shut.
The beds were uncomfortably soft and worn out. Needed replacement. Like sleeping on a giant marshmallow.
A battery in a tv remote was leaking acid.
The place was being renovated and the verandah guttering was missing, which was bad as it rained heavily.
These things seem substandard based on the nightly rate I paid upfront. When we gave feedback, we were told that 150 5-star reviews meant we were wrong. They apologised for the dirty kitchen but just justified the food offerings. They blamed me
for not requesting bacon and eggs.
