2nd time visiting and enjoyed our stay! The stars were AMAZING and the host suggestions on where to eat was very appreciated! Just make sure you have all your details ahead of time as there isn't any signal there. (once inside there is wifi tho)

Location, location, location.......if you're heading to Arkansas to mine crystal quartz, this is a central location for many quality quartz mines. The cabin and grounds were very clean and well cared for. Our dogs loved it there. Fantastic location for pet owners. We would have given an excellent rating, but we encountered stinky sulfur smelling water at first. We contacted Scott about the issue, and he had his crew do something with the well. It did get better enough to shower, but I hesitated drinking the water. It didn't hamper our enjoyable time there. We'd come back here the next time we travel to Arkansas.

I’m so sorry our water had a sulfur odor. People used to city water always notice well water. Our water is very clean and passes through a double charcoal filtration aerator system. We usually never have a problem with the water, except during periods of drought, when naturally occurring iron in the well water can occasionally cause an unpleasant odor. To help address this issue, I had both charcoal filters replaced. As soon as it starts raining and the weather cools off, the smell will go away. Thank you for staying with us. We truly appreciate your visit and hope you enjoyed the natural beauty of Collier Creek!

This was my second time to Collier Creek cabins and this time was just as great as the first!! Husband and I took 3 of our grandkids and had a wonderful weekend. The creek is perfect and the cabin was just right for all of us!! Discovered a pizza place called Shack Attack in Mt .Ida that is every bit worth the drive! Scott is a delight to plan with and answers any questions very timely. Great place to relax and enjoy life!!!

The property is lovely and tranquil. We enjoyed exploring the creek and slept well in the comfortable beds. Most things we needed were provided, but I do wish I had read more carefully that the house is hooked up to well water - we made sure to grab lots of bottled water when we ran to the store. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Overall it’s a lovely spot for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed interacting with a large barred owl at night. It came quite close to the house and was kind enough to let us photograph him. Lots of hummingbirds, hawks, and heron. Bird watchers will love this spot.

I’m sorry you didn’t realize we’re on well waters but we’re out in the country. We have a double filtered system to try to make it taste and not have any well odors! The creek is 100% Spring fed and is no odor and crystal clear at 70° can you send us a picture of the owl?

This cabin was just perfect. It was quiet, warm and inviting. We had a fire in the fire ring. Grilled burgers on the gas grill. My grandson was most impressed with the creek. It was a great time and very restful. We can’t wait to come back.

Nice property and grounds for a quiet getaway. Liberty Cabin is the one we stayed at in the middle. The listing photos of the shower do not reflect the actual shower. The shower in the Liberty Cabin needs some work. Shower head on ceiling is a nice thought but is using a shower head that belongs on the wall which creates a less than desirable experience. The shower cold water handle needs replaced, about to fall off and rotates non stop. The shower curtain and shower head on ceiling makes it almost impossible to keep water off the floor. The bathroom floor being wood plank with open joints is why I’m assuming the bathroom smells like urine which lingers out of the bathroom. Floor needs to be solid flooring so it can be mopped around the toilet. Under the bed where you need to reach cord to charge phone hasn’t been vacuumed what looks like ever. 1” of dog hair and dust to reach through for the plug. If the bathroom could be fixed and a good cleaning done through the whole cabin, it would be worthy of 5 stars for its intended purpose. It’s not supposed to be a luxury resort, but we were relying on the shower and bathroom specifically after we got back from Crystal mining.

We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the shower and cleanliness beneath the bed. We take pride in our cabins, and I will personally address these concerns with housekeeping and inspect the showerhead and handle. I would also like to clarify that the bathroom odor is not urine. Our property uses well water, and the ongoing drought has caused naturally occurring minerals, including iron, to create an occasional odor. We have installed a double charcoal filtration system to help, but until we receive substantial rainfall, some odor may remain. The bathroom floors are solid oak hardwood, protected with multiple coats of polyurethane to seal the wood against moisture and allow proper cleaning. The shower features Grecian marble, and this is the first complaint we have received regarding the bathroom or shower design. However, we appreciate your feedback and will look into the concerns mentioned. You are the first guest that have brought up concerns about the showerhead and the floors, but we want to strive to be the best. Thank you for recognizing the beauty and peacefulness of our property. Our cabins are designed to offer a comfortable, rustic getaway surrounded by nature. We appreciate your visit and the opportunity to improve our guests’ experience.

Perfect for a long weekend stay!

We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute of it. View of the creek is beautiful and listening to the sound of the water moving over the rocks was so relaxing. Can't wait to return in the spring/summer with the kids.

Peaceful Cabin

It was very peaceful, serene, and beautiful location to unplug and relax. It was just my 3 yr old Doodle and I and I enjoyed him getting to spend a lot of tome outdoors and exploring! The owners and staff were very knowledgeable of the area and extremely helpful and accommodating!

The property was beautiful, the owners welcoming and best of all we got to experience nature with our kids and 2 pets. Was nice not having to leave them behind. Plenty of room for everyone!!

Weekend getaway

Very nice and conveniently located with access to Norman and Glenwood. Made getting to and off the river a breeze. Friendly hosts. Will definitely be returning more throughout the year!!

This place was amazing. If I had to complain about anything, and these complaints wouldn't stop me from renting these cabins again, I'd say I didn't care for the shower. It comes down directly from the ceiling and you have to reach through the water to set the water temperature. It's not a big deal, but it might be to some people. We were lucky enough to have half of our stay by ourselves. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evenings.
