Profitez de tout ce que Beaufort a à offrir dans le confort de notre chalet avec une chambre, une salle de bain et une salle de bain nichés dans notre jardin. Doté d'un salon ouvert avec une nouvelle télévision à écran plat, une connexion Wi-Fi et un tout nouveau canapé-lit confortable. Et si vous aimez lire (comme nous le faisons !! ) bibliothèques remplies de livres et livres de cuisine, jouxte une cuisine ouverte entièrement équipée avec 2 réfrigérateurs, four et équipements gastronomiques tels que micro-ondes, 2 machines à café, moulin à café / café, sélection de thés et théière, table de salle à manger antique avec 4 chaises et sertie d'objets de table attrayants. Grande chambre avec lit queen confortable avec une salle de bain complète décorée côtière avec douche et placard spacieux, magnifique miroir incrusté de coquille et armoire peinte Annie Sloan. La chambre a une toute nouvelle literie en coton à haute densité de fils et une courtepointe Pine Cone Hill. Une commode antique avec des doublures de tiroir parfumées, un grand dressing avec des tonnes d'espace et une laveuse-sécheuse. Des paniers de plage, des serviettes et des jouets sont rangés dans ce placard pour le plaisir des clients!

Notre arrière-cour et notre jardin sont parfaits pour que vous puissiez profiter de votre café, thé ou expresso du matin sous notre parasol du marché et notre table à manger extérieure meublée de coussins confortables. Faites griller vos prises fraîches sur le barbecue! Grande douche extérieure et terrasse nouvellement construites avec entrée privée au chalet. Entièrement approvisionné en produits de bain, shampoing, etc. Idéal pour après la plage ou le canotage! Deux nouveaux vélos dans le garage pour votre usage aussi!

Nous sommes à 1 1/2 pâté de maisons de Front Street où vous pouvez souvent voir certains des chevaux sauvages brouter en plus du rivage de Carrot Island. C'est une courte promenade agréable dans le centre-ville de Beaufort avec ses nombreux restaurants raffinés, musées, galeries d'art, aventures touristiques et boutiques. Faites un tour dans le bus britannique à impériale rouge historique de Beaufort pour en savoir plus sur notre ville pittoresque en bord de mer ou aventurez-vous sur le pont pour découvrir les plages d'Atlantic Beach et le front de mer de Morehead City (et notre restaurant préféré The Ruddy Duck! ) et historique de Fort Macon.

A Gem

Optimal location for walking everywhere in town. Parking is not great but that's Beaufort's fault, not the hosts- they're currently tearing up the roads. Photos don't do the lovely garden or the cute cottage justice. Hosts are kind. A quiet quaint NC coastal town...I love my state! Would certainly return.

We loved our stay at the Darling Cottage Nestled in our Garden. It was amazing!!! We enjoyed meeting Stacie, Pete and their sweet cat, Tuna!!! I highly recommend their place. We loved it!!!!!

Beautiful Cottage

It was a lovely weekend. Cottage is cozy and quaint nestled amongst a beautiful garden. Hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Will definitely be one of our go-tos again!!

NO WATER

When we arrived the drive had a boat,golf cart and car in drive leaving enough space for small car, we had a pick up. Hung over sidewalk by at least 18”. No street parking on Live Oak. Door not locked as there is only one key. And no running water. Host would only answer on VROB txt as in TX in a field??? She said we would have water by 2pm and finally around 3:30pm she said her husband just told her he forgot to pay water bill. Luckily my husband walked out front at 5pm when water company was there because of parking situation the truck was on the water meter. My husband left her his final message on VM/phone at 4:40pm that we were going to need to get someplace with water and her response was fine go to a hotel! No offer to reimburse. Not a good experience for our son’s wedding weekend following evacuation from St Pete FL and Milton. Very frustrating!

Quaint cottage

Darling cottage nestled in garden behind the main house is an accurate description. Nicely appointed. Owners are on site, so communications is easy. Only drawback is parking. You have to park on a side street a block away. But the location relative to downtown is great.

Location, Location, Location

Had a lovely weekend in Beaufort. The hosts were very welcoming and opened their cottage to my pup and me. The cottage was lovely but I had to deduct a star for the inhospitable garden. I was looking forward to spending time in the garden, but it was so overgrown and with standing water in a few vessels. I tried bug spray, but it was no match and I came home with bites everywhere! Nothing a little landscaping couldn’t fix!

Secret Garden

I will admit I felt awkward walking down the driveway into the backyard, but once I got past that feeling my stay was lovely (and as an added bonus I got to pet the cat and dogs). It is a great neighborhood and location to walk around.

Very Relaxing....

We had a great visit. The cottage was very cute and very comfortable. Lots of books and magazines. We were able to easily walk to everything, but really enjoyed using the bikes -- a lot of fun riding around! We liked sitting in the garden and meeting the family pets! We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Can't wait to come back!

The property location is close to Front Street and the owners were very accommodating. We enjoyed everything but the parking situation. We had to park away from the property and it wasn't always convenient, especially when packing to come home.

How quaint

This property was exactly as listed, and the small cottage was equipped with all we needed for our stay. Stacie and Phil provided special treats to help celebrate our honeymoon. The community is quiet, and the people in town were very welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

Feels like home.

The cottage is very comfortable, clean, quiet and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked for light cooking. The garden is beautiful and very nice to sit in and relax.

Lovely neighborhood

Loved staying in the cottage with the beautiful gardens. It’s really charming and was comfortable, & we loved using the outdoor shower. Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Beaufort and being able to walk down to the waterfront from the cottage. Stacie was kind enough to let us park overnite in the driveway because we were getting in long after midnight. However, parking on the cross streets was close and plentiful. I appreciated having a bike to ride, tho it was a bit uncomfortable. I’ll try the bigger men’s bike next time! Stacie & Pete were great hosts, as was their adorable little dog Tillie.

Not nearly as nice this time.

We’ve stayed here at least 3 times but this time the cottage was dirty, dusty and cluttered. Insect activity was bad. There were 100s of magazines and too much clutter for my taste. I had to move many pillows and magazines just to sit down. The way it’s decorated is not functional. I hope the host will remove a lot of the clutter to make it more guest friendly. There was a lot of black dog hair everywhere (not from my dog) I don’t think it was vacuumed or swept prior to our arrival. Beaufort is a great place though and there are lots of things to do there. We took the ferry to Shackleford and Cape Lookout, spent a day in Pine knoll shores and some time at Ft Macon. The beaches were beautiful.

Great get-away

We had a very nice stay. Our hosts were quick to remedy any issues. Not a lot of contact with Stacie but we saw and spoke with Pete daily. The cottage was roomy enough for 2 and our dog. The outdoor shower was fantastic! We used that most of the time. Visiting Beaufort was like going to another part of the world. Good food,polite and friendly people.

My husband and I moved to Beaufort after 30 plus years living in the Hamptons. We were looking for a slower pace of life and fell in love with the area. We bought our historic home with guest cottage as well as several other pieces of property in the area. We love our 2 dogs and rescue cats and enjoy leisurely strolls up to Front Street to catch glimpses of the wild horses grazing and the dolphin frolicking in the water.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love our neighborhood and the quiet, friendly neighbors. Porch life is a southern tradition which we have fallen in love with! The large, fenced in back yard is perfect for our pets and has been fun to landscape with shade and sun loving plants. Our raised vegie gardens are a new addition and we encourage guests to help themselves to fresh basil, parsley and our tomatoes when ripe.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We are 1.5 blocks from the water! To the left is a community dock with easy access to the water. To the right is the bustle of Front Street shops and restaurants. If you are lucky, wild horses will be grazing early mornings or just before dark... often pods of dolphin swim along the shoreline as well.
