It was a great cabin except the toilet seat is broken, microwave was very dirty, and the fridge is freezing up then thawing and water draining on the floor. Everything else was great
For the amount I paid it was not worth it at all. There was no one there to check us in, no toilet paper in the bathroom, a TV with no wifi to hook up too. No one really goes to Bear Lake to watch tv but still, why have it in there at all?
Overall it was okay for a night. But it was not worth the money I spent.
We didn't stay in the cabin we booked in August .When we arrived there , we found out by the grounds keeper that they double booked us .We had to stay in another cabin. That cabin wasn't clean, rug was dirty ,refrigerator froze our food and the televison did'nt work. We will never stay or go with Vrbo again!!
The Cabin was clean and perfect for our needs. The grounds keeper Dustin was attentive and helpful. Our only set back was missing basket in the coffee maker. The wifi has a very weak signal but we were able to use our hotspot on our phones to have the tv on the fall asleep. We will surely return.
These cabins are really great, quiet, clean, centrally located in Garden City, accessible parking for boats and toys, super easy and convenient. I gave it a 4 on accuracy of listing because it was actually much nicer than the pictures showed. There is a bunk bed and a futon bed plus a couch in the living room. The bedroom is private room and in the kitchen there is a fridge, stove and microwave for basic cooking. The ceiling fans need some maintenance as we never got the living room one to turn on and the bedroom fan was really loud so we didn't use it, but other than that, we would absolutely stay here again.
Where to begin, very difficult to get responses, check in was 3 the cabin hadnât been cleaned it was a horrible mess. A nice guy who looks after the area was going to contact cleaning crew. I ended up cleaning the nasty kitchen so I could get our family food ready and in the oven. No kitchen towels or dishcloths, barely utensils, 1 bowl, no hot pads, no dish drainer, 2 small pots, basically bring your own kitchen supplies. The guy that helped me earlier came back with 2 towels and bedding, said I could just clean it and heâd have the rental guy reimburse $150 back or wait for who knows how long for cleaning crew. I just said Iâd do it since the group were going to be eating there soon. Cleaning crew finally showed about 530. We had no blankets, carpets are nasty dirty, only 4 bath towels for a place that sleeps 6-7. Our family had rented 5 of the cabins all but 1 had problems. 3 smelled like sewage, one didnât have enough pillows and one only had one blanket. Better than we had in ours. I had bunk beds but donât know how you were supposed to allow a child to sleep up on the top, no railing or a ladder to get up and down. My first experience doing this and this was horrible, horrible.
Itâs a gorgeous place inside but a shame the owner doesnât care. Weeds are out of control, broken or falling apart furniture. The 2 futons in my cabin are falling apart, kitchen chairs need their screws tightened up.
Owner was friendly and helpfulâŠ.
We were there for only one night but it was perfect. We were walking distance to Pickleville Playhouse and enjoyed the very professional performanceâŠ. It was the opening night for âA new sheriff in townâ.
Nice and roomy cabin/good location./ comfy bed. We couldn't lock the door. The cabin has a bad order when we got there. We had to put the garbage can outside and that made a difference.
We thought the cabin was cute but had issues. The AC did not work until my son fixed their thermostat, the cabin had not been cleaned properly and I have sent pictures to the owner as they challenged me that it was clean. The WiFi was non existent as we could not connect or it was so bad we got less than one megabit so the smart tv was a paperweight. The microwave was dirty, no towels and unfolded bed covers laying on the couch when we arrived, dead flys in the window, dust so thick we spelled out words for the cleaners and the circuit breaker was tripped so no coffee maker until I went out back of the cabin and reset it. The owner wanted to argue with me so I sent pictures and they did not reply. I feel bad for the owner because the property manager is not doing what they are hired to do. All of these issues should have been addressed with the next cleaning. We left clean me and dust me messages on a few surfaces to see if they actually do their job.
It is unfortunate that I cannot attach images of all of this review as I have them. If they cleaned it it would be fun to stay there. It is a pretty cabin.
It was in such a great spot and i had great communication with the owner, when we got inside it looked great but there were something like the floor that was a little messy and little things here and there. but other than that it was great.
The cabin was nice and spacious. The cabin does need a good dusting. The property would be more appealing without old equipment strewn about. We had a few concerns that we emailed to the owner and he was very pleasant and prompt in replying to our concerns. Overall, we would stay here again for the quietness and location. Also, the owner is attentive and very courteous.
I expected more for the price of this cabin.
1- cabin was not clean
2- toilet seat broken
3- good thing we didn't want to cook .
oven and stove top was dirty. Also fridge needed clean too. We had nothing in fridge. A dirty wash cloth was in sink.
4- one bath towel for 2 people. Used towel was still hanging on hook from previous guests.
5- no soap or shampoo
6- Im glad I did not sleep on sofas. Very uncomfortable and sofa pillows worn and in
shreds. No extra blankets.
7 tried to watch a movie
It started then said it wasnt connected and needed user name and password.
8- wifi would not connect.
9- all rugs were dirty and I'm sure floors were not vacuumed as there were pretzels under couch. We did not eat there.
10- last but not least, stripped the bed only to find it was urine stained.
My friends and I stayed one night on 8/15, itâs a cute little place. Everything was in great condition, and clean. Mike was great and easy to work and communicate with. There was a queen bed, a set of bunk beds and 2 futons, kitchen was fully functioning, bathroom was nice and clean and the fire pit out front was an added bonus. The only small downside, which could also a counted as a positive, was that it was just off the main road, if you like quick access to shops and gas stations itâs great, but if you wanted a more secluded its not the best location wise. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in garden city and planning to visit bear lake.
