WOW, THE MANGOS. Boy did we love picking up the fresh mangos that fell from a backyard tree every night. YUUMMMY.The house is very spacious. It has plenty of room for visitors to enjoy the pool, screened in patio and kitchen/living areas. For us, the location was very convenient to our children, whom we were visiting. It's a short hop from grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants, etc. It's also convenient to head out on trips as it's a very short jaunt to the Turnpike and only slightly longer to 95. It's not very close to downtown West Palm or the beach, but nicely located if that's not your priority. We were pleased to meet one of the owners, who is wonderful person. There is an attached, occupied apartment. I don't remember if I saw that detail in the Listing. It turned out not to be a bother because we never heard a sound and were not inconvenienced. The back yard pool is private enough. It was easy having our pet dog on the trip. The back yard is large, shaded and fenced in.I would give Fruit of Life Tropical Getaway that last star if it were in downtown or on the beach. I might also give the last star if the bed mattresses and other furnishings were newer and the pool deck was immaculately kept. But then again, if that were the case, I probably would not have afforded it.So I was extremely pleased with price point. One regret is I didn't find a blender in the kitchen to make mango smoothies to go with mango-habanero pancakes!!
We are oldsters who have been coming to Astros Spring Training for over 20 years- the last 4 in West Palm Beach. We are veteran VRBO renters. This is the best property we have stayed in WPB! The house is well appointed, clean, and spacious. It was built in the early 70s in a typical 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, one story house. The kitchen was well stocked and has modern appliances. The screened in porch, with its glass topped table, was our morning breakfast place. The table outside, by the pool, was our favorite reading spot. The bedrooms all have ceiling fans! We met the owner and she was welcoming, friendly, and encouraged us to contact her with any problems. We had none! This property is a great value for folks who want to explore the area. It's close to restaurants and, most important for us-the Cacti Park of the Palm Beaches. We have our fingers crossed that we can book this house for Spring Training in 2026 ! Thanks, Gina, for your hospitality and sharing youPam, Evelyn and Lee
Overall, I had to book hotel rooms. That i had to pay for out of pocket making this stay 3 times what it should have cost. This is a shared house separated by a flimsy pocket door with a little door chain. Which was a huge concern for us with unknown persons having access to the house. Arrived to amazon packages at the door and cars parked in the back which was odd. Went for a walk to find new lights on in rooms we never entered ans unknown car in the driveway and decided we need to get out of there.Dated funishings, hair in the shower, odd assortment of old towels, shampoos, etc.
Nice place! Very cute yard. Lots of amenities available in house.Although,Unclear where to take out garbage and recycling. Would not have made a difference in us renting property but i do think owners should have to disclose if they have cameras at the house.
Beautiful yard with avacados and bananas and coconuts. Nice pool. But pool area, patio and part of house were not clean. Dirty socks from prior visitor? I also was not made aware there is someone living in the side of the house we rented, didn't pose a problem. No soap for showers. Very limited towels. House smelled musty. Love the yard but would not stay again
It was very clean and centrally located. The pool was nice to relax in. I had a little problem and the owner got right back to me. I would stay here again.
The property is exactly as advertised. We loved the privacy of the back yard, the quiet neighborhood and the very large screened in porch. Difficulties arouse with the refrigerator ice maker and washing machine. Ginette was very responsive to our needs and sought to resolve the issues in a timely manner. One of the highlights of our stay was getting to know Ginette. She was an excellent host and a down right lovely person. We would not hesitate to stay again.
We loved the spaciousness of this home! Lots of places to sit and visit or play games, a beautiful pool area with lounge chairs and even office space for the two days I had to work on this trip! This place had everything a family would need to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay in West Palm Beach. Would definitely stay again when I visit extended family in this area.
We enjoyed the beautiful and relaxing backyard and pool area. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the couple of days we stayed there.
It is close to shops, FL Turnpike, and Lion Country Safari.
The host was super responsive, friendly, and helpful!
We will definitely be back when we come down for another visit!
We had such a great time & the outside kitty instantly became my new friend. I gave her milk every morning and bought her some tasty wet food. She was the sweetest â€ïž Definitely would return for future get aways âïžâ€ïž
My husband and I have stayed here for the past two years and have enjoyed it immensely. The only problem that we have is the mattress in the master bedroom is uneven and weâre both unable to sleep in it. Also, the verticals do not block any sunlight. Thatâs minor compared to how wonderful of a stay. It is thank you Brandon and Italia for your great hospitality! Will see you next year!
The location was perfect for us, playing ball at the ballpark of palm beaches. The owners were so nice and responsive to any questions. But the best part was the refreshing pool and fresh mangos everyday :)
This was perfect in location and comfort for our vacation and wedding prep. Allowed us to visit with other family members and also the bridal party to get ready.
