Great condo with updates all around. Great location, quiet building, and the unit was stocked with everything we needed. Had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return.
We came to Crested Butte to enjoy the beautiful hiking that is in the area and enjoyed seeing all our favorite wild flowers and a few new ones. It was nice the soak in the hot tub after our hikes and work out our sore muscles.
This was the perfect stay for my friends and I for a weekend ski trip. The location is ideal and only an 8 minute walk to the lifts. Was extremely roomy, and we enjoyed having access to the hot tub and swimming pool. Alenka had great communication with me the entire time, and I canât recommend her place more!
This place provided easy access via bus and a short walk to the slopes. The best part is an indoor pool for the kids to unwind and burn energy after time outside.
The condo is charming and provided a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. One of the standout features was the well-equipped kitchen, which included all the amenities necessary to prepare meals for ourselves and our friends. This made it easy to enjoy home-cooked dinners together, adding a personal touch to our vacation. Bus stop is just across the street easy to get around. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and we would highly recommend it to others.
If you want a beautiful view of the mountain and skiing close enough to walk to this is the place. The bus stop right outside the property was great after a long day of skiing or to take into town for dinner at no charge it was a nice option to have. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon.
The unit was clean and ready for us upon our arrival. We had plenty of room to spread out for our family of four. The shuttle system was convenient, but it was even close enough to walk to the resort.
This was a great spot for getting on quick bus ride to slopes. Condo parking is across from bus stop, so we kept skis in the car for easy storing. Third level does not have a person elevator so stair climbing is required; you can use a dumb waiter for luggage. The hot tub and pool were good for finishing off the day. Kitchen has all tools for cooking; bring your own oil! We did have a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds!
Usually the photos of the views lack accuracy, but this location and the view off the deck is just fabulous. We were here in the summer and it is an easy walk to the two ski lifts that are running if you want to take a trip to the top or do some mountain biking (both recommended!). I wish the facility hot tub was functional, but it is out of service indefinitely. I would stay here again in an instant!
The location is 7 minute walk from the lift, or there is a bus every 15 minutes right outside the building that drops at the mountain!
The building is a bit funky with an indoor pool and hot tub, but ideal for families with kids. Kids like pools. You could even go home for nap time or trade off watching the kids.
The floor plan is also funky, an indoor hallway to the condo door, and you walk into the bedrooms first, but when you get to the living room & kitchen, there's a beautiful view and big deck facing Columbine Mountain and Mt. Crested Butte!
Thoughtfully decorated and appointed.
The condo was in a perfect location for our get away! We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and wine on the deck in the evening. Beautiful views! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything your family will need. The sofa is a little worn and the unit can get a little warm but we found that if you opened the windows and left the bedroom doors open it cooled off. The bedroom has no exterior windows that open.
We enjoyed being walking distance to the base of the mountain and right next to the bus stop into town. I was disappointed to find out both the pool and hot tub weren't working as we booked specifically for that reason. A heads up would have been appreciated. Otherwise, the unit is exactly as described.
Good stay. We were there to ski. Shuttle right outside the door to the resort center runs every 15 minutes. The shuttle is a small loop with only 4 stops so very short ride. The walk is about .4 mile so doable but long in ski boots. You can also catch the shuttle to the town from the village. We had everything we needed. Although we only had 1 towel per person I emailed and asked for more but did t get a response about the towels. There are extra towels to use for the pool so we made do. Overall a good stay and I would stay here again.
Excellent short term rental. Property manager responded quickly to questions. Only a few notes for management.
Both pool and spa are closed for repair/maintenance, should be mentioned in the listing.
Kitchen equipment very comprehensive. Does need potholders / couldnât find them.
Laundry available on facility but prohibitively expensive -costs $3 for wash, $3 for dry.
No A/C and it was tricky to get airflow into the bedroom areas, even with the provided fans.
The location was as described. It is a condo with interior entrance from a shared common area. This unit is on the third floor and there are no elevators. There is also no AC. They did supply fans but with no cross ventilation, it did making sleeping hot. Every evening we would have to open the door and put the fan in front of it to pull some cool air in.
Everything worked. The balcony has nice view of Mt Crested Butte but is on a main road, so it is a little loud with traffic.
Overall, it was a good stay.
My family and I had a wonderful stay at 3 seasons.
Pros:
1) Location to slopes, first bus stop on the condo route so you will always have a seat
2) the view from the balcony is breathtaking
3) communication with property manager was quick and easy ; ie pool was freezing and the Alenka communicated with HOA and the temperature was turned it up, still not warm warm but enough for my kids to play in
4) Indoor atrium was nice to get out of the condo on cold days
Cons:
1) the temporary hot tub does not work and will not work until after April according to the sign. It has been broken since Jan. The permanent one will take longer than April. It was in the fine print of the listing but you have to look for it
2) this unit is on the 3rd floor, do not stay here if you have any one who has mobility issues as there is no elevator. Moving the stuff up on the dumb waiter was tiresome and not enjoyable
3) outdoor parking- I have stayed at many places with indoor parking with elevator with trolleys; much better for the price
4) no ski lockers so you have to carry your stuff up to your room.
Once again, great stay. If I stay again, may stay on first floor.
This condo was immaculately clean when we arrived for our visit in July. It was also convenient as an additional member of our party was staying at the hostel in town. As we had traveled in one car, the bus stop right across the street gave her the flexibility to come and go as she wished without our having to drive up and down the hill.
The kitchen was the best equipped of any condo we have ever rented with all the possible pots and pans one could desire and multiple appliances beyond the usual toaster and coffee maker. Our only issue, which we pointed out to the property manager, was that the blender was missing the necessary gasket in its base causing it to leak.
The downside of the unit was its location on the main drag with noisy construction traffic starting at 8AM every morning. The shared WiFi was also rather sketchy. The building design makes any kind of cross ventilation in the bedrooms impossible causing them to be very stuffy and hot in our summer visit. The hot tub, which would have been nice for aching muscles at the end of the day, was out of order.
Overall, this unit is undoubtedly ideal for a winter visit when traffic noise would be muffled by close windows, warm bedrooms would be desirable, and an indoor pool would be ideal.
