Sunset Chalet - 3Bed / 2Bath - Capacité d'accueil jusqu'à 12

Construit en 2005, ce chalet de ski de logement est conçu et meublé spécifiquement pour des vacances en famille. Il est parfait pour 6 à 10 personnes (1 à 2 familles) mais peut accueillir jusqu'à 13 personnes. Très agréable pour les petites retraites, des vacances en famille double, ou de petits groupes de jeunes. Nous avons une famille de six (quatre enfants) et amusons souvent une autre famille de quatre personnes pour le week-end. Fonctionne parfaitement.

Venez séjourner et profiter de tout ce que Winter Park et Grand County ont à offrir.
Situé dans le lotissement Ptarmigan au-dessus du Safeway à Fraser, cet endroit unique offre la disponibilité de tous les services de la ville, y compris un service de navette gratuit dans toute la ville, en bas de la colline pour Safeway, la colline du tube, et bien sûr le domaine skiable.

The host went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The kitchen was so well stocked! We had everything we needed plus more! The hot tub was amazing. It was 2 degrees outside and snowing but you couldn’t even feel it while sitting inside the tub. The house was beautiful inside and out. Perfect location, close to all amenities. Very very cold outside with temps feeling negative at times but the cabin was so toasty and comfy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Also, we were a group of 12 and there was adequate space plus some for everyone.

The house overall was great, however we were very excited to use the hot tub and were incredibly disappointed when we opened up the cover to see a lot of mold. (see pictures). The water did not look like it had any chemicals put in to keep the water clean either. I really wish the hot tub was clean and usable but it unfortunately was not.

Shawna, my apologies about the condition of the hot tub. Why didn't you call me immediately? I gave you my number and my wife's number and we could have remedied the situation right away. This is a one off situation that has never happened before and will not happen again. The house was vacant for about a month before your visit and had been last visited by the cleaners, including the spa being cleaned a few weeks prior, and it sprung a leak during that time and the water went low and the filtering stopped functioning properly. Again, I'm sorry the hot tub was in substandard condition, but we give out our phone numbers to tenants for this exact type of situation. It's just a bummer that you didn't reach out and let us remedy the situation immediately.

Loved the Sunset Chalet!

We had an amazing stay at the Sunset Chalet. Everything was as advertised, and Ryan was an excellent host! Beautiful view of the mountains and so close to Winter Park ski resort. Beautiful house and great hosts

This house sleeps a lot of people but still has the coziness of a cabin. It is just like in the pictures. Perfect for groups or for family gathering. The hosts are amazing. Very responsive and easy to work with.

Great mountain home!

This was our second time staying at the Sunset Chalet - we had previously spent a weekend here in the winter for skiing. It was just as great in the summer! Plenty of space for our group, great views, clean hot tub, fantastic location. Ryan and Tracy were so accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

This home, while dated, was very clean on the inside. The surrounding neighborhood is not great, and the yard could really use some work. While pet friendly, the enclosed yard had weeds that were 3 feet tall. The patio only offered two upright chairs, and a broken rocker, so we could not enjoy the outside. Under the grill was very dirty. The hot tub was very clean and nice, downfall was looking into a very cluttered yard and lots of weeds. Probably a better stay in the winter vs. summertime.

Thanks for your review Tracie. Our apologies for the weeds in the back, our cleaning crew unfortunately doesn't do yard work and we have not had a chance to address the weeds yet this summer. Regarding the chairs and rocker on the deck, the rocker is not broken, it is just turned on it's side when not in use because the wind makes it bang against the house otherwise, and there are 10 chairs in the kitchen that can easily be used on the deck. And yes, the house is situated and built more for winter stays than summer with the house being located right along the LIFT shuttle route and being located just up the street from the Safeway making access to grocery shopping very convenient. It is actually considered a coveted location for the Winter Park / Fraser area.

The only negative would be that the beds really aren't that comfortable. Other than that, the place was perfect for us. The ski bus pick-up being about 20 yards away from the house was really helpful.

After staying in the Winter Park/Fraser area many times, renting condos and houses, we decided we wanted a place of our own that would fit our family of 6 along with another small family.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love the location in Fraser above the Safeway and on the bus route. This location allows us to catch the bus to the ski area just one block up the street. We built the house to match what we consider to be a traditional ski chalet, with high vaulted wood ceilings, wood burning stove, great room, three bedrooms (one with bunks), and a small deck out back with a hot tub.
