Directement en face de la plage et à quelques pas du centre-ville de Seaside, cet endroit est idéal. Le grand porche avec balançoire vous invite à profiter de l'air frais du matin. Promenez-vous à l'intérieur où vous serez accueilli par le salon formel avec cheminée et canapé-lit. Deux chambres doubles, chacune avec une salle de bain / douche privée, complètent le premier étage. À l'étage supérieur, dirigez-vous vers l'élégante cuisine très bien équipée avec un four double et une plaque de cuisson à induction, un balcon et une grande table à manger suffisamment spacieuse pour que toute la famille se presse. Il y a un balcon généreux de la cuisine avec vue sur le golfe pour votre plaisir. La suite principale surdimensionnée, également au deuxième étage, est absolument somptueuse! Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, very short walk to Seaside village and the beach. Good outdoor space with porches on first and second floor. Two beach towels and a beach bag were provided which was a nice touch. General floorplan layout could be difficult for some people with lots of stairs. Master suite had tiny bathroom with a clawfoot tub in the middle of the room.

Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented Sabbatical many times and Dreamboat once. All-in -all the condition of the property has been good. There was an issue with the leak in the closet in the downstairs left bedroom. The maintenance crew was quick to respond. There was still a drip, drip, drip sound after they left. The closet did not show any more water. Since the property is one of the oldest properties (Dreamboat icluded) plumbing issues, perhsps the owners need to think about taking on the expense of correcting the issue.

The kitchen and dinning area opens up to the upstairs porch with Sonos sound, great for sitting, visiting, games, cocktails, etc. When you stay at Sabbatical, you may ask yourself Sabbatical or Serenity?

Weird house layout but with a great location

This lovely house has the ideal location for visiting Seaside and especially the Red Wine Festival being only 2 blocks away. We were 6 adults ages 55 to 80 and the weird layout of the stairs in the entrance area was difficult to understand as to why it was designed in that manner as we have never seen anyplace like it and we are all in the real estate business. The only other issue was in the primary suite where the bathroom was tiny for such a huge bedroom suite and the claw tub in the center was unusable by older adults who would have to climb over to access the tub and the shower curtain surround was not practical at all and a safety hazard with no hand railing or bars. We did have some trouble closing the doors to the upstairs porch which looks to just need realignment. All other features were fine.

Central Ease & Beauty

Super convenient to everything! Feet from the beach access, the center of town, the bikepath... The double front covered porches were perfect for people watching. We watched the half-marathon & 5K runners go by. The interior architecture, color pallate and furnishings were beautiful. (There are stairs between rooms.) Not easy to re-latch the top of the doors to the porch, but great to have the doors open with the breeze.

Great Location and Service

Perfect location and great balconies with a view of ocean from the upper and a fun porch swing on the lower. Kitchen off the upper balcony is great hangout area, a lot of nice smart TVs throughout house. Owner provides nice touches such as shelves of books, games, puzzles, cards and DVDs for young and old. Agree with previous reviews, lot of stairs that can be difficult for elderly or toddlers of certain age. We had 74 yr old parents that were fine and a 3 yr old, they were actually fun for her. I'm not one to comment on service bc I think it should be what it is and I'm hesitant of a bias review, but Homeowner's Collection was on point with all communications and provided quick service to any issues that we had.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay. The $200 Covid cleaning fee is a joke. There was a dirty coffee filter in the pot when we got there. We’ve been coming to seaside for 20 years; I did not think the house was any cleaner than normal. The shower control in one of the downstairs bathrooms didn’t work. A plumber came and it worked for one day. Homeowners personnel couldn’t be nicer. Unless the Covid cleaning fee is mandated, that should be dropped.

Memorial Day stay 2020

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sabbatical is a beautiful house with a great location, steps to the beach access and steps to the town center. The house’s location is so convenient and the second story porch has a great gulf view. However, there is constant music blaring from the traffic on 30a. This didn’t bother us as much during the day as we were rarely home, but kept us and our small kids up at night. The floor plan of the house is strange with a lot of stairs. The stair railings from the kitchen/dining room and the porches are an X pattern with large gaps that we were afraid our 1yo might get through. I would not recommend this house if you have small children, but if you don’t I would say the location of the house would more than make up for the above mentioned issues. We also had some problems with roaches during our stay. We raised the issue with a Homeowner’s Collection management, but they said there wasn’t much they could do while we were staying there. We have stayed in several different houses in Seaside over the years and Sabbatical has the best equipped kitchen, and most comfortable beds. The bathrooms for the downstairs rooms were spacious and nicely updated. The porches were wonderful and well furnished. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning to Sabbatical if our children were older.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home sits parallel to 30A so it’s loud and you can here the cars and kids outside until late. Traffic is heavy on West Ruskin as cars turnaround in front of the home. The decor of the home is lovely and mostly up to date. It does has numerous levels of wooden stairs throughout the house. The master is upstairs and the kitchen and dining room is on the second level as well. So, it you have knee or hip problems, this lovely home is not for you.
