The furniture in the house was the most comfortable we have ever had. Lots of room to spend time with the family. House layout is great. Younger kids able to stay up and watch TV while elderly family able to go to bed earlier. Great house perfect for what we were looking for.
Layout of the house was great for the family gathering. Well stocked. Dock space was a bonus for our pontoon and smaller fishing boat. We came after the flooding so bugs were probably a little worse than usual. Do didnât spend too much time outside near dusk. Property owners/managers were great if anything was needed. Not a huge thing but would recommend the rest of the stump ground out or shaved down in the driveway to make it easier to maneuver over if you have a bigger boat. Definitely recommend this place if you come to Crane Lake. If you have a larger boat use the public access by the marina just down the road. It was pretty easy to get up north in the water I used my phone to get around but had a map book of the lakes as a back up.
Lisa and Emily were great at answering all questions in very little time. They were super helpful and patient. The place has a nice open floor plan and is at a section of the lake which is super calm. A plus!
This is the second time we have stayed here and will be back. Love the location and the ease of getting our boat in the water and having our own dock. The family is great and the cabin clean and comfortable.
The house was perfect, three bedrooms, two baths and a four season porch. We had 4 adults and two kids, a place for everyone and a dining table that sat all comfortably. The property manager, Lisa, was very nice and after initial walk through, she let us be, unless we had questions for her. The house was clean and perfect when we arrived. Water pressure could have been a little better, but was not a setback. overall, a great place and Lisa was awesome.
Thank you,

This cabin was great! Very spacious and great location. The docks were super nice for docking a 20ft boat. I loved that the kitchen had nice cookware and everything imaginable. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful time here. The cabin is so nice and well appointed. The new couch and paint make it very cozy. The walleye bite was hot and the mosquitos werenât bad at all. Weâll certainly be back!
It was our first trip to Crane Lake and we loved it. The cabin had plenty of room and a great open layout facing the lake. Beds were comfortable and cabin well equipped. Large lawn had plenty of space for lawn games. Walleye fishing was great. We will be back.
We had an awesome family vacation here! Can't say enough good things about it! Great place to unplug and unwind! The property has every creature comfort you need but you're still in the middle of nature! The lake, the loons, the wildlife, it was all great! Michael is a great fishing guide and was always helpful. Highly recommended! Will probably become an annual family vacation spot!
Great location, home has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Six of us stayed for
four nights, plenty of room for all of us. Home is situated on a slight hill with beautiful view of the lake.
Wow...what else can I say. After spending five days here, I cannot wait to get back! The cabin is well equipped with everything you could need/want. It's super clean, convenient, and in a quiet secluded part of the lake. Crane lake gives you access to so many other waterways with amazing fishing that you are open to your imagination. Highlight of our vacation, was a guided fishing trip with Michael to Lac Lacroix. He put us right on the fish, cooked an amazing shore lunch, and helped me catch the largest walleye of my fishing career. I can't wait to go back!
Nice cabin with all the amenities you would want in a Northwoods getaway.
The property was clean and spacious. It had 2 docks, a fish cleaning station, a firepit with a picnic table next to the firepit. Nice location. Far enough from civilization for a getaway but with enough necessities nearby.
We enjoyed our stay at the Bayside Fish Camp. This immaculate home was very spacious with numerous windows that allowed a great view of the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare our meals. The open layout perfectly maximized living space for the six in our party, with huge LR/Kitchen lakeside separated by a wall. The 3 BR/2BA in the back allowed privacy and quieter sleeping quarters. The home is situated in a quiet and peaceful bay, with easy access out to the main lake. Michael (property manager) was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed it so much that we've rebooked for next year!
Such an awesome spot! We loved the large lawn and the cabin had everything you'll ever need plus some! FULLY furnished kitchen, cozy blankets and the lazy-boys are so comfy! We'd did a day of guided fishing with Michael, caught a ton of fish and covered a lot of Voyageurs National Park. We'll be coming back again towards the end of the summer. 5/5 stars!
Michael and his family were absolutely fantastic hosts. The home is clean, spacious, and full of all necessary amenities. For our family of five we had more than enough room. The views of the lake were awesome and the docks gave our kids plenty of opportunity to throw a line in. We really felt at home - and enjoyed the peace, quiet and privacy we were looking for.
Michael took us out as a fishing guide and this turned out to be the best part of our trip. The kids caught plenty of fish, the views were outstanding, and Michael made us a shore lunch on an island while we watched the sunset. Absolutely fantastic.
The home is within 5-10 minutes of a number of outstanding hikes and sites to see. We went up for three nights and all of us wished we had a few more nights to stay. We have had a few other experiences via VRBO where the pictures and descriptions didn't quite fit or meet our expectations when we arrived. This surpassed all expectations and we will definitely be back for another visit...But for more than three nights!
Thank you Michael!!!

This has been our family's summer retreat for the past 25 years. My daughter and her family own the cabin right next door. Talk to her son, Michael who manages the property about guided fishing trips, unique day trips and where the best spots are to recreate on the lake. He knows the hidden gems! If you'd like to setup a trip during your stay visit www.mnvoyageurs.com or contact him at mnvoyageurs@gmail.com
This place is unique in that it's one of few that has road access - making your arrival and departure smoother and easier. Cabin is rambler for easy access.. Lake side windows for gorgeous views. 200 ft of lakeshore frontage allows for spectacular views and privacy. Nearby Scotts Seaplane base is a convenient launching pad for fly-in Canadian fishing trips. A 10 min boat ride to Voyageurs National Park and the BWCA - miles and miles of pristine wilderness and unexplored interior lakes.
