Le Cottage Weiler Harbor Pays

Joliment décoré et meublé chalet entièrement moins de 1 bloc
de la plage Berrien Street à Union Pier Michigan.
Nous avons acheté cette deux chambres, deux salle de bain chalet en 1999 après la marche passé chaque jour sur notre chemin de la plage alors qu'il était en cours de construction. Il dispose de cinq lucarnes et cielings voûtées de sorte qu'il se sent comme un grand chalet de la plage. Une cuisine avec toutes les commodités vous permettra de prendre les repas sur la plage ainsi que d'un dîner lorsque vous décidez de cuisiner au lieu de sortir.

Comfy Cozy Cottage

This is a great place to stay for 2-4 adults. A couple minutes walk to the beach in a very nice quiet neighborhood. The cottage is clean with two comfortable porches, and a well equipped kitchen, grill and outdoor fire pit. Have stayed here for the past four summers and always enjoy it.

Peaceful and cozy

This cottage was perfect! It was clean, cozy, close to the beach, restaurants, shopping—anything you might need or want to do—and stocked with everything necessary to stay in and enjoy time together: games, dvds, puzzles, fire pit…. We could not have asked for anything more!

Another Great Stay

This was our third time staying at the cottage. It is a very comfortable place for a beach vacation. A short walk to the beach. Also, a well equipped kitchen. This is perfect for two to four people. We will be returning.

Very cute cottage and close walk to the beach!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Weiler Cottage and i enjoyed it just as much as the first time! It’s cute and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen! The kids absolutely loved the movie and game collection. The close walk to the beach is perfect! It’s so nice having 2 full bathrooms as well. I just wish we were able to use the sliding screen door to enjoy fresh air and talking to those on the front porch. Also wish there was a beach umbrella available, but neither are deal breakers... we hope to stay again in the future!

Amazing- the perfect place for a getaway

This is our 6th year. This home is clean, modern, and lovely. Two block easy walk to the beach, not crossing highway or busy street. Short walk to Whistle Stop Cafe- great breakfast, coffee, deli items. Close to Union Pier, Three Oaks, and New Buffalo- great dining, antiques, and shopping. Near Warren Woods for hiking and Warren Dunes. But it’s the home that keeps us coming back. Two full baths, w+d, wifi, 3 TV’s with Roku, great neighborhood. It’s very well-decorated, with nice furniture and very comfy beds. Other places we’ve rented are run down and have the philosophy that you are “out at the beach all day and just need a basic place to sleep”. We like a nice indoor place too for board games, puzzles, cooking, or watching movies. We had an usually cold week this year, but still an awesome vacation because we had such a great place to just hang out indoors. If you want a beautiful house in a great location with top notch hosts -this is the place. We love it. You would too!

Review of the Weiler Cottage in Union Pier

The Cottage is cute, nice size for two to 4 people. It came well furnished. The bathrooms were very nice. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen and living quarters were tight, but adequate. The place was clean. The cottage was also withing easy walking distance to a very nice beach. On the downside, the cottage had a very musty smell as like it hadn't been used for a while. We did not use the dressers in the bedrooms as they smelled musty as well. We let the AC run maybe more than needed which helped to freshen the air, although when we got home our clothes still all smelled. But it did freshen up to the standpoint that we still enjoyed the place, Another issue was the front door key lock was stubborn at times and I had to fight it to get it to lock or unlock on many occasions. The beach chairs supplied to the house which were inside were in good shape but the ones on the back porch were not good, and we didn't use them. The house on the outside along with some of the accessories could use a cleaning and some updating, but the front porch, though small, was comfortable. The last issue was the road leading to the cottage is in terrible shape, but all the side roads are to a certain extent.....maybe to keep traffic driving very slowly down through the neighborhoods. All in all, a nice little cottage in a nice location that basically needs just a few small improvements and a good "airing out" to get rid of the musty odor.

Exactly what we hoped for

We hoped for a quiet, clean, well-appointed cottage near the beach for our family vacation this summer, and the Weiler Cottage definitely delivered! The cottage is very well-appointed--both comfortable and clean. Being new to the area, we were also really pleased with the local shops and restaurants. We weren't sure what to expect beyond the cottage being close to a pleasant beach, but really the whole town made for a great vacation. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Union Pier Cottage

Our family of three loved our time at this sweet cottage in Union Pier. Walking distance to the excellent beach for swimming and sunsets, good location for bike rides to the market and ice cream shop. Clean, well-stocked property with chairs, towels, and an umbrella for the beach. Everything you might need for "real" cooking in the kitchen (even a Microplane!). Responsive communication with the owner during our stay.

Reunion weekend

The Weiler cottage was close to our reunion. Lights went on all around the cottage to help us find our way “home”. Clean and nicely appointed. Well managed. Two couples and two baths very accommodating. Love porch chairs for breakfast coffee. Hopefully we can come again.

Just what we needed

We had a great stay. The cottage was cute and cozy inside and out. It was a close walk to the beach and had everything we needed. Union pier has the cutest little downtown with just what you need. And there are larger towns a short drive away for the rest. It’s the perfect spot to relax!

Cozy

The house was charming, well appointed, and perfect for our stay. Everything we needed was there. The outside gardens were beautiful. For us ( grandparents and grandchildren), the walk to the beach was longer and little more strenuous than we thought it would be by reading the description. The Berrien street walkway was accessible however. A few minutes down the road Weko Beach was perfect for us. This is a lovely property and seems well managed.

Perfect family beach cottage.

We loved our stay. The cottage was so clean and had all the essentials we needed for entertainment and meal prep. Close walk to the beach which was a hit with us. Roku and WiFi provided entertainment in the evenings for the kids and the front flagstone patio with lights was a lovely way for the adults to spend the evenings. A perfect summer beach vacation. Greg was great to work with!

Adorable cottage close to the beach

The Weiler Cottage was a great place to stay. Short walk to a beautiful beach for days at the lake and watching the sunset. The outdoor area with the string lights and firepit were a great way to spend the evening. Kitchen is well stocked with gadgets so cooking and grilling weren't a hassle. Rooms were spacious and clean. Walking distance to a few restaurants, the black current bakery was AMAZING and probably less than a 10 minute walk away. Close to the wine trail, breweries, and only a short drive to downtown new buffalo. Highly recommend this cottage, looking forward to staying again sometime.
