Cet appartement au rez-de-jardin avec une chambre et une salle de bains a été transformé en une escapade intime et relaxante, idéale pour un week-end romantique. Décorée avec goût avec les collections et les antiquités du propriétaire, la maison dégage un charme du sud décontracté. L'espace de vie ouvert comprend deux cheminées de briques décoratives d'origine, des poutres en bois apparentes et de nombreux sièges confortables. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une nuit, et une laveuse et une sécheuse sont rangées dans un placard à proximité.

La chambre a un lit king size, beaucoup d'espace de rangement pour décompresser et une salle de bain attenante. Location was perfect and the unit was beautiful with character! I only gave it 4 stars because I feel like it could be a little bit better maintained and I think the owner should add a dehumidifier to help with the mustiness

Great, comfortable apartment on the ground floor with off-street parking. Could not figure out how to lock the front door upon leaving the unit, but after leavimg from rear entry, we often entered the unit from the front door.

The property was great. The location was perfect for getting the full effort of the Savannah charm. It was with in walking distance of local restaurants. Chatam square was a very scenic and historic area. The provided parking was a godsend in an area with limited access to parking. The one caveat was that the Wi-Fi did not work on the first day we were there. So the streaming tv did not work. Bad for a sports fan. The Wi-Fi did start working after a phone call to the property manager. But the day before we left it stopped again. I would consider this a minor inconvenience but others may not.

Great location

The property's location was fantastic. Seconds away from great parks, minutes to great restaurants, and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the waterfront. The staff were excellent and replied immediately to any of our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property!

The personal touches were very nice and "homey". Had a few small issues like not being able to use the front door due to no key! Also had a musty odor, and on the last night of our stay it poured and water came in under the wall due to the gutters above being clogged!! I assume the "musty" smell was due to previous water damage.

The location is easy to get to from the airport with safe and convenient parking while at the same time walkable to every restaurant and historic downtown tour. Not only in terms of the time to walk (no more than 22 minutes to the river) but absolutely beautiful streets and squares along the way. An easy 25 minute drive to Tybee Island and a 4 minute drive to a grocery store and a leisurely drive and walk in Bonaventure Cemetery - these were the only times we used the car all week. Inside the property was cool and clean with plenty of room for the 3 of us.

Changing Dates for the Vacation

Although we were initially scheduled to visit Savannah earlier this fall, inclimate weather made that impossible. The competent staff at Lucky Savannah was able to move our stay to December at no additional cost. This in turn allowed us to enjoy a memorable getaway.

Reviewer Comments: Convenient to the Historic District & downtown and private parking is a plus. However, maintenance is a bit lacking. The clothes dryer didn't heat up, the gardens at the rear are a jungle, and the internet access wasn't working when we checked in (it got fixed later). Interior lighting is dark - no good place if you like to read at night. But the decor is authentic early 20th century and several pieces are antiques, yet the kitchen, bath, bed etc are up to date. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was nice, we enjoyed the city and surrounding area. The antuque furniture was charming, however, the floors in the apt. we're dirty, and the couch and bed mattress need to be replaced, they are uncomfortable.
