We had a wonderful stay! Can't wait to come back! Great location, awesome kitchen and amenities. Location is spectacular. Thank you for sharing your home!
We couldnât ask for any nicer condo with a more perfect location! Absolutely stunning views. Every bedroom is a great size with comfortable beds. The living room & kitchen were well-equipped a worked nicely for our family.
Loved our stay here so much! This beautiful, clean and fully renovated home was the perfect place for our families to enjoy time together. Ski in and ski out was convenient and gave us all flexibility to ski at our own pace. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for meals at home. We loved our stay and hope to come back in years to come.
This location and the home is perfect for families with kids. You can easily walk into the shops and restaurants in Beaver Creek. Ski-in/ski-out was ok as there was very little slope to the trail behind the home. We typically just walked to the lift as it was very close. Overall, we loved the home and will plan to return.
Beautiful property. Ski out was great. Wish there had been instructions on how to ski in as they were not included anywhere. Once we figured it out, ski in was okay although one day we had to pole because the Charter Skiway was not groomed. Great location for walking to the village. Also the additional keys were not available ( found on day four hidden way back in a drawer) We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend for a family or several families.
This is a great location and property. We had 10 people including 3 couples plenty of room. Kitchen was stocked with spices and utensils. Ski in and out was great - go left to Elkhorn Lift to ski out and take Charter Skiway (by Meadows Gondola lift) to ski in. Some areas tough if not enough snow but otherwise very convenient. Also Village Connect app allows easy free pick up and return shuttle right to the door. Garage is a bit narrow for large suv but can fit two vehicles in single file. All in all fantastic property for our first trip to Beaver Creek!
Our group of 12 enjoyed this house a lot. It is perfect for a large group and a short walk to the lifts. it's supposed to be ski-in ski-out but most of us didn't use it because it is flat with our snowboards, but i think it'll work with skis. Hot tub was nice and can fit 4-5 people max at one go so we had to take turns. We didn't find enough coffee mugs in the morning, but not a big deal, the kitchen was generally very well-equiped. There is a wine cooler which was perfect since we drank a lot. House was vertical and the master suite at the top of the house was sweet. 5 bathrooms was perfect for the large group.
Townhouse in BC that is very attractive and in an excellent location. But it has been poorly maintained. It is 4 stories with an elevator that does not work and has no sign indicating that it is not operational. The washing machine did not work. This is a large 5 bedroom/5 bathroom home so it can accommodate large groups- but it is not equipped well. The kitchen has tired utensils, pots and pans. Only one cutting knife in the entire kitchen and the inventory of glasses, plates and kitchenware is not adequate or up to standard for the nightly price of the home. The thermostat does not register the correct temperature. When we arrived the kitchen cabinets were full of partially used bags of candy, cereal, nuts, crackers- things that are not should not be leftovers for new guests. This could be a wonderful short term rental but either the management company or owners need to pay attention to details appropriate for the location and potential.
Werenât able to use ski in/out due to lift being closed. Free shuttle service picked up close by and was easy to use. Property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
House was very comfortable for the 5 of us. It was well stocked and had all the little things that make for a comfortable stay. Loved having the elevator since it is 4 floors and legs were tired after skiing. The house was nicely decorated and everything worked well while we were there. Even though it was early in the ski season and there had been no recent snow, we were able to ski in with no problem. We were able to ski out at the end of our stay when the Elkhorn lift opened for the season. Before that we used the shuttle to get to the slopes. The shuttle was only a few steps from our front door and very convenient to get to the village for skiing or going to the restaurants. The front door code didn't work and management did not resolve the issue while we were there, but we just went in through the garage so it was no issue. We would definitely stay here again.
a hot tub that wouldn't get hot + management company (BerkshireHathaway) that was less than helpful
When we booked this high end/priced property, we did so with the expectation that if something went wrong, it would be fixed or attended to in a timely fashion. In short, the hot tub would not get hot. Although it was set for 104 degrees, as soon as we started using it on day 1, it quickly went down into the 90s and never broke 100 again. After being covered all night, the water was still well below 100. We have all the text interactions with the management company (Berkshire Hathaway) that show our increased frustration that the hot tub was not heating properly. They gave us instructions over the phone ("the hot tub guys are two weeks out, so we are hoping to be able to get this done over the phone"), we sent them pictures of the control panel, despite following their instructions, it still did not get hot. Body temperature is 98.6, so when you get in a hot tub that is at 92, you are cooling yourself (outside air 20 degrees). Apparently they sent somebody out on Wednesday (midweek) but did not communicate anything to us what the status of the repair was (we did not see him because we were skiing). In short, the hot tub was of no use to us, since we could not stay in it for very long. It was "used" by us twice the entire week, as we awaited a repair. Having the hot tub was the second most important item for our group in choosing a property.(ski in/out #1). Typically we ski till 4 then go back and enjoy the hot tub until dinner is ready. We also would use it after dinner to soothe sore muscles. That is about 5 hours of time per evening that we expected to be enjoying in the hot tub. While we understand that things go wrong/break, this situation was not handled in a timely fashion nor was there a "we will do everything we can to make this right" attitude. They would not even answer the phone, choosing to only communicate by text which was very irritating. (Although having the text now is helpful). As of this review, Berkshire Hathaway has made us an offer which to "compensate" us for the "inconvenience". It is laughable. We were a group of 11 professionals (including doctors) who just wanted to have a great ski week at a great house. So if you are looking for the same - choose a different property and certainly a different management company.
We loved this unit. Very well stocked, very clean, plenty of room and the communication with Berkshire Hathawsy was phenomenal. The "ski-in, ski-out" was a bit challenging but the property is a few steps from the shuttle stop which is very easy to use with the available app. We were very happy here and we think you will be too.
Everything we expected and more
Fabulous Master Bedroom
Everything needed in a kitchen
Awesome hot tub!
It would have been even better if the Elkhorn lift was operational, but we took convenient shuttles to the lifts and could ski back
We loved the home we rented at the Aspens. It was in a great location and the shuttle service made it super simple to navigate around beaver creek. However, we were very disappointed to find the hot tub was not in working order. We tried contacting the owner with no response. The hot tub didnât work the entire trip.
Very comfortable home. Really loved the ski in and ski out. Didnât realize how easy it was to walk up to the village until the last night, but it is super close and easier than driving. Hot tub was a huge plus. Saw a fox out back at nightâcool.
