Maison familiale donnant sur le front de mer de Felpham

'Fishermans Cottage' est situé sur une rue résidentielle qui mÚne directement à la plage de Felpham. La plage est populaire en été, avec des cabines de plage à proximité et un café pour quelques rafraßchissements. La station de vacances Butlins est dans une promenade facile le long de la promenade du front de mer et les visiteurs de jour sont plus que bienvenus. Marcher un peu plus loin sur le front de mer et vous trouverez la station balnéaire traditionnelle de Bognor Regis qui a sa propre jetée et une bonne sélection de boutiques, cafés et restaurants.



Un peu plus loin sont les villes de la cathĂ©drale historique de Chichester et Arundel. Les deux offrent une multitude de boutiques intĂ©ressantes, des bars, cafĂ©s et restaurants, ainsi que certains du tourisme historique et des attractions culturelles. Les grandes villes de Portsmouth et Brighton sont Ă©galement accessibles en voiture ou en train le long de la cĂŽte. Portsmouth est peut-ĂȘtre plus cĂ©lĂšbre pour ĂȘtre le foyer de la Royal Navy, alors que Brighton a le cĂ©lĂšbre Pavillon Royal et une grande sĂ©lection de magasins indĂ©pendants. Comfortable stay

Thank you for a very comfortable stay. The house was well prepared for our visit and clean and tidy. There is plenty of space and ample reception rooms for a sociable and comfortable break with friends and family. Sea views were something special. Location on the outskirts of Bognor Regis town centre with plenty of eateries and shops. Roomy off road parking. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Thank you!

Lovely stay in a beautiful house by the sea

Had a lovely sunny week with family staying at Fisherman’s Cottage with six adults, a toddler and a baby. The beautiful property is very spacious with a huge garden and is right by the sea. Beds were very comfortable. Ground floor bedroom very convenient for people with mobility issues. Could do with a high comfortable armchair in living room as all the seating was low and soft. Would have preferred dining chairs instead of benches in dining area. Garden chairs and table provided although a parasol could be useful to provide some shade. Look forward to hopefully returning soon.

Very large and spacious accommodation

When we arrived at Fisherman's Cottage we were taken aback by the sheer size of the place. We were only 4 people so it was way bigger than we needed but this place can easily accommodate the 9 persons maximum for sleeping. 4 bedrooms, 3 lounges, 3 bathrooms/toilets, massive kitchen plus additional utility room. The ground level double bedroom and adjacent shower/toilet make this a great place if someone in your group has limited mobility. Dishwasher/washing machine/tumble drier available for use. 2 fridge freezers and a gas stove/double oven for cooking. Free WiFi available that was fast and reliable - great for us visiting from abroad as no local data packages:). The location is great although not what we would consider direct beach access. The Felpham/Bognor Regis promenade runs right at the back of the house. It can be accessed by a (broken) garden gate but more realistically you have to come out the front door and walk around the side of the house. The beach is right in front of the promenade. Unfortunately the weather wasn't suitable for swimming during our stay but I imagine it would be great in the height of summer. There is also a Morrison's store about 5 minutes from the cottage. The staff there were very friendly and the shop had most of what we needed for simple meals/cooking and snacks. The cottage was generally very clean except for the kitchenware. We had to run the dishwasher with a full load of plates, cutlery etc. when we first arrived to get it clean enough to use. The cottage was also very comfortable with an abundance of everything we needed. However, some of the windows wouldn't close fully so there were drafts throughout the house - just about manageable in June but not sure about colder months. As well as central heating there were heaters scattered around the property for use. The correspondence with Henry Adams could have been better. During the booking process the communication was at times very basic and not very professional but we got there in the end. After booking, the directions to the property were long-winded so we requested a Google Maps link - a lot more straightforward:). Unfortunately the first link was to the wrong property which we noticed as it was on the wrong side of the road so we had to re-request the link. The rest of the check-in instructions were OK but the info sheet was very basic. We had to ask for instructions on what to do with recyclable materials as none were given. Despite some of the organisational issues and drafty windows we had a lovely stay and would book again if visiting the area. Outside of July/August when the price increases considerably we would say this cottage is excellent value for money.

Fisherman cottage

The location was great! However the house need TLC. The heating didn’t work and there were flies in one of the rooms. Would have appreciated information on the men coming to the house to fix the boiler and the garden as i was with other ladies and children. Apart from that the stay was nice.

Multi-family weekend stay

We spent 3 nights at the Cottage and had a wonderful stay. We were 3 families with 4 young kids and a baby and had plenty of space. The kids especially like sharing the bedroom with the bunk beds all together and the other bedrooms are spacious. The living areas (3 lounges!) were ideal for everyone to spread out and the kids loved the 'secret staircase' to the snug which had wonderful views of the sea. We really appreciated that the beach was literally outside the garden gate, and the house is situated on a very quiet street. I would definitely recommend this property for similar groups of friends, and we thought it was great value for money.

A blissful, enchanting and calming home that welcomed the six of us with a big Autumn hug!

Thank you Henry Adams for your personal touch and reassuring professionalism ... what a find 'Fisherman's Cottage' was. So spacious, airy, light, warm and strangely cosy for such a large space, not to mention stylish, yet understated! Six friends re-uniting ... we had a perfect stay in a wonderful location, excellent accommodation and facilities - we stepped from the back garden onto a little green and a few steps onto the shoreline promenade... the sea vista was ours! just grand!!

Great property for a getaway

We really enjoyed our second stay at this wonderfully equiped residence. Both adults and children had space to and facilities to be kept occupied. Overall the house was clean and comfortable both day and night.

Spacious and comfortable house right on the sea front, thoughtfully furnished and well equipped

The house is very spacious and comfortable, with great views of the beach and coastline from the first floor. We loved the first floor little lounge - with its own dartboard too, and at night you can spot the cruise ships all lit up and lining up on the horizon to enter Portsmouth or Southampton. The kitchen was well equipped - the extra larder fridge in the utility room would be useful if a large family or two families were staying. The door handle on the French doors by the dining table was broken - we reported this to Henry Adams who checked if we needed it repaired during the visit. Henry Adams and the owners were helpful when we were able to extend our stay. We hope to return!

Family break

The setting of the property was very good with easy access to walks along the esplanade into Bognor Regis. There was plenty of space for the eight adults and two infants in our family group. It would have been useful to have a highchair for use at the property. There was an excess of crockery and glasses and cooking utensils. We had a very enjoyable time and the only negative is that in places it is looking a little tired and the cleaning could be a little more thorough. (A concern was that two of the upstairs windows did not close properly). However I would definitely recommend this property for a large group.

Fantastic location for a seaside holiday, high quality accomodation

We needed somewhere that would suit all ages from 90 down to 2 years old. This was perfect with a ground level bedroom/bathroom, three sitting rooms, spacious kitchen dinning area. Plenty of outdoor space and easy access to the sea front. Although the beach was all pebbles when the tide was in, it was flat sand as the tide went out, felt very safe for small children. There is a small supermarket nearby and plenty of pubs/restaurants and we had no problem getting take-aways delivered to the door. Can definitely recommend this for a family holiday and would be quite happy to stay again.

Spacious Family House

Nice big house. Excellent location right by the sea. Well stocked - enough kitchen stuff to cater a wedding! However very small oven, would be difficult to cook for ten people, we struggled with six! Also Netflix and IPlayer didn't work despite new router being sent and no DVD player but lots of games and books.Comfy beds nice linen and plenty of soft towels. Would recommend.

A great family Christmas by the sea.

We spent a fantastic Christmas week at Fisherman’s Cottage as a family of 8, all adults including my in-laws who are in their eighties. First impressions were resounding WOWS from everyone and when we went inside it just got better. There’s plenty of room for everyone and even a games room and an upstairs bar, with fantastic views, that you can disappear to to get some peace and quiet. The bedrooms were all lovely and comfortable, we had the pleasure of sleeping in the main room upstairs with an En-suite. It was lovely to go to sleep and wake up to the waves lapping at the shore and what a view! Its a lovey 15min walk along the beach pathway to the centre of the village where there are a few nice pubs and some shops, just remember to take a torch with you at night. There’s only a few minor points that would stop me giving it 10 out of 10, a few lights throughout the house didn’t work, the fridge in the bar didn’t work, the oven isn’t really big enough to cater for 10, rain comes in the downstairs bedroom onto the windowsill and the kitchen windows hadn’t been opened and cleaned as when we opened them they were covered in dust and spiders webs. Like I said all minor points but because of them I give Fisherman’s Cottage a very good 4 Star and not a 5 Star. Would definitely stay here again.

Title ... Spacious and relaxed house.

Lovely spacious and relaxed house, with a good mix of adult and child friendly features, and great location. The only shortcoming for us was that there was no information sheet with things like the wifi code, recycling system, local facilities and services such as GP and pharmacy, and recommendations for places to eat. Perhaps this can be provided for future guests.

So close to the sea!

Fisherman's Cottage is very comfortable with lots of space for everyone. It is bright and light and welcoming. The 2nd sitting room is useful for children and the upstairs bar is a good spot for relaxing with a perfect view of the sea. The beds were comfortable with good quality linens and the kitchen was very well equipped. Good utility space at the back too. The best thing is that the sandy beach is just there! A quick walk up the path beside the house and you are on the beach. Lots of walks along the promenade from Bognor to Middleton and Felpham village is a nice stretch with pubs and a couple of shops. There is a convenience store only 10 mins walk away too. Excellent location for a seaside break.

Fantastic house, incredibly well equipped, couldn’t get any closer to the beach

Really enjoyed our stay at Fisherman’s Cottage - will definitely return. Only negative was that we don’t recall being advised of the house alarm details in the joining instructions! However, the letting team were fabulous in their helpfulness.

Comfortable space by the sea

Great open, spacious accommodation. Great open plan kitchen and dining area. Comfortable bedrooms, well appointed. Lovely "snug/bar" special room too! House didn't feel that it had had previous occupants for a while. Despite dishwasher containing a few unwashed plates, and things like open fireplace having the remains of a wood fire in it (ie not cleaned) the house was comfortable, warm and with good equipment, especially the utility room with additional fridge , washing machine, tumble dryer etc. A nice place for a large family gathering by the sea and easily accessible to Bognor Regis, Chichester and beautiful quaint Arundel.

Lovely accommodation

This was s perfect venue for our family pre Christmas get together. The house is right at the beach and is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The house claims to sleep ten (3 double bedrooms, one room sleeping 4 as there was a roll out under a single bed and bunks). I supplied names of our ten guests but beds were only made up for 9. As one guest decided not to stay this turned out okay. We enjoyed a lovely stay and would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Beautiful setting, great holiday.

Everything we needed for our family of 9, including 4 children 11 years and under. Copious amount of hot water, glasses, crockery and pans etc, but couldn't find a set of kitchen scales. So close to the sea and we live near Bournemouth couldn't believe we had the beach to ourselves and we all had a really lovely time. Lots of books, games and things for the children to do, if the weather was bad. Would certainly stay there again.

An ideally situated for the families and with wonderful sea views.

Fisherman's Cottage is so convenient for families wishing to spend a week by the sea. The house was thoughtfully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The sea views were fabulous. We had a great holiday and will be booking another week next year.

Fabulous seaside location and spacious accommodation

Our family group of 10 spent a long weekend enjoying the seaside and surrounding area. Fishermans Cottage provided plenty of space for us to relax indoors and the facilities provided were excellent. The first floor sitting room with views of the beach was lovely. This would be a great location at all times of the year. Highly recommended.

An ideal location for a family holiday.

This is the second time we have stayed at Fisherman's Cottage and it is an ideal home for a family holiday. We were a family of seven people, the oldest being 94 and the youngest just a year old and it was suitable for everyone. There were games for the children and a good safe outside area for them to play in. A few steps leads to a wide promenade suitable for bikes, pushchairs etc. and then the beach. Ideal for everyone.
