100 m² de maison troglodyte traditionnelle - 3 chambres et 3 salles de bains, réparties sur 3 niveaux de 100 m² de terrasses privées. Au cœur d'Oia - vues incroyables sur le volcan, la caldeira et le coucher du soleil toute l'année, accès facile et intimité remarquable - tout simplement à couper le souffle!

Le style de maison troglodyte traditionnelle de la villa est complété par des meubles antiques de Santorin et des tissus naturels. Ouvrant la cuisine bien équipée et encadrant la vue sur la caldeira, notre loggia à manger unique pourrait bientôt devenir votre pièce préférée dans la maison. Il y a 3 chambres avec salle de bains, deux au niveau principal et une avec une entrée séparée sur la terrasse intermédiaire. L'espace et l'intimité que notre villa offre, ainsi que le bassin profond à débordement, les pièces baignées de lumière, la vue imprenable sur la caldeira et son emplacement central, la placent dans une catégorie à part.

Comme nous sommes au sommet du village, l'accès à notre propriété est remarquablement facile. Il n'y a pratiquement pas de marches pour nous rejoindre, bien qu'il y ait des marches entre les niveaux de la villa. De plus, la gare routière est à 10 minutes à pied et le parking le plus proche est à seulement 40 mètres de notre porte.

La villa comprend un téléphone fixe avec appels gratuits vers les fixes de toute la Grèce. Vous pourrez nous appeler à tout moment si vous avez besoin de conseils, et nous fournissons également des informations détaillées sur Oia et Santorin, et des recommandations de choses à faire. Une variété de boissons et de collations vous attendent dans le panier de bienvenue gratuit et le café, le thé, etc. sont réapprovisionnés quotidiennement.

Un service de femme de chambre quotidien est également inclus.

By the Mill est disponible à la location toute l'année et est bien équipé pour les mois les plus froids, avec chauffage, couettes chaudes et vue sur la caldeira et le coucher du soleil, 12 mois de l'année.

La climatisation, les parasols et les tentes ombragées vous assurent d'être protégé de la chaleur pendant les mois d'été, et la température du bassin profond peut être ajustée selon vos préférences.

Oia est le joyau de Santorin, l'une des plus belles îles du monde. This property was fabulous. Exactly as advertised. We traveled with my son, daughter-in-law, a two teenaged granchilden, celebrating our 59th wedding anniversary. The location was perfect with fine restaurants within walking distance, along with many shops for browsing and buying. Our view was spectacular, with perfect sunsets., the pool delightful! Housekeeping arrived every morning as well as the pool cleaner. We had a private driver, Dennis, pick us up at port, take us to sites, wine tastings and was at our service with suggestions on dining adventures. He brought us to the airport on our morning of departure. Our host, Judith, who we unfortunately did not meet, was easy to communicate with. She had snacks, water and a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival.Thank you Judith for making our celebration perfect!

House by the Mill is lovely. Its spacious interior is filled with light and it’s tastefully decorated. The outdoor space is premium, with fantastic views, 3 terraces, and a large heated pool—bigger than most private pools in Oia. The house is also in a superior location for transfers as it is a 3-minute walk to a common meet-up area by Lioyerma pool. We had all the basics one needs, and made use of the laundry and the kitchen. I can’t be sure, but I think we got the best cliff-side house in Oia. Our hostess made getting to the house a breeze. We arranged pickup from the airport through her, and a young man named Yannis picked us up at the airport. Yannis offered his services if we needed anything. We took him up on his offer. If we had a question, Jiannis advised. He provided transportation, tours, information, and advice. He was always on time and courteous. He accompanied our two younger companions on multiple occasions. They adored his company, and felt safe. They also learned a lot about the island from him, and about life in general. Our hostess recommended Two Spoons private chef service, and it exceeded expectations. Every dish was delicious. Yannis—the chef—has a rare passion and knowledge.

The views and the location were outstandingAll three couples had a very comfortable room and we very much appreciated the toiletries provided.Also, so nice that coffee ,wine, and a gift basket of snacks was waiting for us.Cleaning service every day to make our beds and freshing up our towelsThe pool was refreshing after a hot day of touring, and we could view the whole Caldera sitting in the pool.Many amazing restaurants within walking distanceAnd we did also enjoy the early morning visits from the neighbourhood cats! Would definitely recommend this amazing VRBO to anyone visiting Santorini.

Incredible Oia Stay

This villa is perfect for a stay in Oia. The views are unparalleled and it is in the perfect location. The host was instrumental in helping to arrange transport and activities for us as well as providing excellent recommendations, and helping with any questions or concerns. Highly recommend for a terrific Santorini experience.

visit to Santorini with friends

stayed 3 nights and everything was great. View, location, and villa were tremendous. Had three couples, each having their own bath. Went to two restaurants and a private sealing trip recommended by hostess Judith - all were great.

Stunning villa!

This is the ultimate villa stay in Santorini, a beautiful cave house with the best caldera and sunset view you could wish for. It's also quiet which can be hard to find in the heart of Oia, yet a 2 minute walk to the very heart of things. The host, Judith, is fantastic - nothing was too much trouble, she was so helpful but completely unobtrusive. We will definitely be back, we loved it!

Great stay at By the Mill!

Our stay at the villa was spectacular! Great space, and the view of the Caldera was beautiful! The host, Judith, was the most gracious and accommodating host that I have ever worked with! I had a lot of questions before our stay, and she always answered quickly and even reached out to our sunset sail company to see if they offered towels. I would highly recommend staying at this villa for so many reasons!

Amazing

I know a lot of other reviews probably say amazing, but there right. As usual pictures don't do it justice, it's stunning. A great combination of being very close to all the activities in Oia but not right where all the tourist crowds are. Would definitely book this again.

Absolutely amazing!!

This property was even better than pictured. Amazing view perfect accommodation and walking distance to everything you could need. The restaurant recommendations from Judith were perfect and the pictures of the property does not do the property justice. It was private but also close to everything. It was our little oasis. We will be coming back 1000%.

Incredible Oia property

The house was amazing - even better than the already great depiction on VRBO. The location was perfect - great views, centrally located on the west end of Oia, and arranged in a way that provided privacy from the packed paths of other tourists exploring the island and trying to get a glimpse of the sunset. In addition, Judy was an extraordinarily helpful host. She made check-in and check-out easy, and was very responsive whenever we had questions before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Best House I have ever stayed at with VRBO

My husband and I travel the world. This house was the best house we have ever stayed in. Quite magical, you walk through you or gate and you are in your own private Santorini !! Facing the famous sun set with sitting in the pool Drinking wine. Doesn’t get much better than this. Our 2 girls loved the upstairs bedroom. Lots of space for family of 4 or more.

A Private Paradise!

A private paradise, tucked away from the hustle bustle of Oia. Our every need was provided for. Sweet and helpful Alma cleaned to perfection daily and Panos, the groundskeeper kept the pool at the perfect temperature and crystal clear. The refrigerator stopped working and was replaced with a new one within hours of reporting. Thank you Judith for a dream come true… can’t recommend “by the mill” enough!

Fantastic Property, Location and Hosts

This is a truly spectacular property, optimally located in Oia on the caldera, with easy access to restaurants, shops and bars. The hosts Judith and Theo are gracious and responsive and could not have been more helpful - including in advance with restaurant suggestions and activity selections all of which were fantastic. The property is large, both inside and outside, and comfortably sleeps six adults. There are multiple levels of outside decks for enjoying the sun and view into the caldera, as well as a large plunge pool. The photographs perfectly represent the location and amenities. Hard to imagine a better place to stay, in any way, when visiting Santorini.

Beyond expectations!

This cave apartment is everything it advertises and more. The breathtaking views, the accommodations, the amazing location made for a perfect stay for 4 adults celebrating special birthdays. I cannot put into words how great this cave apartment is! Highly recommend checking it out. I hope to return someday and stay a little longer! 😀

Simply the best

It's impossible to describe the ten days we spent here and do it justice! Our private, beautiful, comfortable villa had its own perfect sunset view (without any need to go further than the private plunge pool or the deck) and we had everything we needed or requested from the owner and her amazing "family" of support during our entire stay. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't spend your whole Greece vacation on Santorini. Just tell them you're staying By the Mill!

Breathtaking in every way

Our family of 5 had the best time ever in Santorini and we all agree it was because this place was so special. My two older kids (21,18) and our 11 year old appreciated the location, the sunsets, the views, the pool, and most of all every detail of this spectacular home. We all agree we wished we had more time there because we really didn't venture out much because why leave? We will be back. Thank you Judy!!

AMAZING

We loved our stay at By the Mill! When the gate was opened to the view it made me gasp….pictures can’t describe how gorgeous it is! Judith was very helpful advising us on activities, reservations, transportation, etc. The location in Oia can’t be beat…steps away from shops and restaurants, but much more private than other villas that we passed by. I loved drinking coffee each morning in the outdoor dining room off the kitchen, and we enjoyed cocktails each night on the upper terrace with an unbeatable view of the sunset. We were truly sad to leave this morning, but we will look forward to returning.

Could have stayed forever

We had 3 couples stay for 3 nights at this property. Judith was easy to work with and communicate with before our arrival. She scheduled transfers both from the port when we arrived and to the airport when we had to depart. The property itself is exactly what you see in the description. Everything you need is right there on site. We loved relaxing in the plunge pool during the day as it was very warm when we were there. The views are incredible and the sunsets are spectacular. Location is perfect for getting to everything you want to get to in Oia. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place on Santorini.

Tranquil Heavenly Retreat

This is the only place you should stay in Santorini! It is simply remarkable and definitely not adequately portrayed the photos. The most picturesque view of the famous Oia sunset, actually people start lining up just below the property 3 hours before sunset to catch a glimpse and you can just wander out onto the balcony for a totally unobstructed view in minutes . It is so peaceful and tranquil here compared to the rest of Oia, yet you are only a quick walk to everything-restaurants, shops, excursions. Daily housekeeping was discrete and impeccable , and the plunge pool, which was definitely appreciated at the end of the day, was kept pristine daily. This Villa has everything you need , is so clean and well maintained, and the owner is so responsive and accommodating- airport transportation with assistance to the door of the villa is offered ( and recommended). We will definitely be back, only if there is availability to stay here.
