House by the Mill is lovely. Its spacious interior is filled with light and it’s tastefully decorated. The outdoor space is premium, with fantastic views, 3 terraces, and a large heated pool—bigger than most private pools in Oia. The house is also in a superior location for transfers as it is a 3-minute walk to a common meet-up area by Lioyerma pool. We had all the basics one needs, and made use of the laundry and the kitchen. I can’t be sure, but I think we got the best cliff-side house in Oia. Our hostess made getting to the house a breeze. We arranged pickup from the airport through her, and a young man named Yannis picked us up at the airport. Yannis offered his services if we needed anything. We took him up on his offer. If we had a question, Jiannis advised. He provided transportation, tours, information, and advice. He was always on time and courteous. He accompanied our two younger companions on multiple occasions. They adored his company, and felt safe. They also learned a lot about the island from him, and about life in general. Our hostess recommended Two Spoons private chef service, and it exceeded expectations. Every dish was delicious. Yannis—the chef—has a rare passion and knowledge.
