Thank you for your 4‑star review and for choosing Gulf Coast Getaways for your stay at The Shore House. We're glad the location and sleeping arrangements worked well for your group. We appreciate your understanding about the minor touchups—beach properties do require extra upkeep, and we'll review our maintenance and turnover procedures to address those areas. If there's anything specific we could improve to earn five stars, please let us know via your Vrbo message. We hope to host you again. Warm coastal wishes, Gulf Coast Getaways Team

Thank you for your 4‑star review and for choosing The Shore House. We’re glad you enjoyed the views and your stay. We appreciate the note about parking — good to know the shared driveway works fine for smaller vehicles, and we’ll clarify parking guidance in the listing so larger-vehicle guests know about the additional parking out front. I’m sorry about the buckled laminate flooring; we’ve reported it to the owner and will coordinate with maintenance to assess and repair it as soon as possible. If you have any other feedback that would help us earn five stars, please share it via your Vrbo message. We hope to host you again. Warm coastal wishes, Gulf Coast Getaways Team

Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We're glad the beach view was perfect and the quiet location was a good fit. It’s great the layout gave everyone their own space and that the third-floor master had an amazing view. We’d love to welcome you back for another beach getaway soon. Warm coastal wishes, Gulf Coast Getaways Team

Thank you for the excellent review! We spent several months this past off season upgrading the home, new roof, new paint, refinished flooring, new decking and railing, and more! Glad to see you enjoyed it and hope to have you back soon! Gulf Coast Getaways

Thank you for your feedback, Christine. We appreciate your compliments on the home and location. We’re sorry the kitchen amenities and floor didn’t meet your expectations. We’ll address these maintenance and supply issues to improve future stays. We hope to host you again. We have addressed the flooring issue and we are glad to report that this has been repaired. We strive to ensure everything is addressed as soon as we are notified. Thank you!

Thank you for the review - Normally our cleaners do an excellent job sorry to hear that you thought it could have been cleaner, in the future please let us know right away and we will have cleaners come back out to correct what was missed. This has active pest control contract and is regularly serviced so not sure about the rat poop comment? Glad overall you had a great experience - thanks, GCG

We are glad you loved the property - everyone does! Our cleaning normally does an excellent job so we will make sure we go over them that you thought it could be a little cleaner. Thank you for the feedback and we hope to have you back soon.

Thanks for the nice review about the house. I really do not know what to say about the Mosquitoes? Very odd, first time in 5 years we have ever, ever heard that comment. This is the South so there are mosquitoes - not really anything anyone can do about that other than repellent and move spots. Gulf Coast Getaways

Thank you for the great review! It is a great location and some incredible views from the house. Thank you for the constructive feedback, we will definitely take that into consideration this off season when we do our annual upgrades. Sometimes difficult to keep everything just right with multiple groups all year long and just 5 hours of turn over time, but we do attempt to keep the house in the best condition as possible with our cleaning crews, maintenance, inspectors, and valuable and timely guest feedback. Thanks again and hope to have you back soon! Gulf Coast Getaways

Thank you for the review and the constructive critiques. Your stay was at the end of our very busy summer season and there is some natural wear and tear deterioration we experience with all of our properties near the end of summer, as you might imagine with large groups coming in one after the other with only 6-7 hours between them to get the property back to the best possible shape. We will definitely take a look at the items you pointed out and make necessary correction and fixes once we have a break in the calendar. As far as the price point, this is priced appropriately for a 5BR beach front home of this quality, it is a very good house, but not a premium house and it is not priced as such - a premium house of this size and beachfront would costs thousands more. This is a very good value house for beach front and what it offers. Thank you again for the review and we will make sure to incorporate some of your suggestions to make it an even better experience for our guests. Regards, Gulf Coast Getaways
