Mar - Villa with stunning sea views in Albufeira

Beachfront villas such as 'Casa do Mar' are extremely rare. Located at the end of a quiet private road, this villa has just been totally, and very tastefully furnished to a very high standard. Nothing can beat seeing and hearing the waves lapping on the beach ! It is just a 20 minute walk along the beach to Albufeira, famous for it's historic old town and downtown music bars. 'The Strip' famous for it's nightlife is a 15 minute walk.
You enter the villa on the 1st floor which contains : Entrance hall leading to lounge / dining room with TV , with pateo doors leading out to a large balcony which has a dining terrace for truly unforgettable meals enjoying absolutely superb sea and beach views, and steps down to the pool terrace area, which also has a BBQ and dining table. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer. Twin bedroom with en suite shower room, and pateo doors to balcony. Downstairs to: 2 x twin bedrooms, both with pateo doors leading onto the pool terrace, shower room, plus a bathroom with bath, (with shower inside the bath). 2nd floor: 2 x Double bedroom with shower bathroom.
The villa is fully air conditioned (for heating & cooling) in the lounge and all the bedrooms.
From the pool terrace you can enjoy the sun, see and hear the sea ! On the poolside terraces there is a BBQ , dining table and a table tennis table.
The pool can be heated (swimming pool can be heated, this is an optional extra and Temperature will be between 26 - 28 degrees)
There is a safe. WiFi INTERNET and POOL TOWELS.

We had a lovely holiday In the beautiful villa in a quiet location!!! However I would advise NEVER BOOKING IT OR ANY OTHER WITH VRBO AS THEY ARE A WASTE OF SPACE WITH AN EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! BOOK DIRECT WITH ALGARVE VILLA HOLIDAYS THEY WERE EXCELLENT!!!

Great location, peaceful, villa in tip top condition. Kitchen well stocked. A few - very small things - would improve it. For example, waste bins in the bedroom, chair in the bedroom soap/shampoo holder in shower. The broadband is dreadful, well below 1mbps most of the time. 3 of us were working and spent a lot of time hunting for a good signal. Not your fault - but position of villa means weak mobile signal and this meant that we could not even use hotspot. But a great villa, good beds, great view, quiet ... However, I'm still awaiting the breakages deposit to be refunded - which is not good. Please arrange this asap. We left the villa in a very clear condition, all washed up etc etc. 2 small glasses were broken - so what is the delay ?

Liegenschaft sehr sauber, Putzteam kommt alle zwei bis drei Tage um zu putzen und die Wäsche auszuwechseln. Das Obergeschoss wurde kürzlich renoviert und ist daher sehr modern eingerichtet. Total fünf Doppelschlafzimmer, jedes Schlafzimmer mit eigener Nasszelle (Badezimmer). Das Objekt ist sehr schön u ruhig gelegen. Der Strand ist über einen kurzen Weg zu Fuss erreichbar. Da das Haus ein wenig ausserhalb liegt, empfiehlt sich ein Mietauto, vor allem zum Einkaufen. Wir können das Haus absolut empfehlen, Preis / Leistung stimmt.

Fabulous Villa

What an amazing villa. Views were stunning! Villa was very clean. We stayed here for a week and the cleaners came in twice which was great. Outside space was lovely with shade and sunny spots. Pool was a good size which the kids didn't come out of. The beach was lovely and Sandy with water sports just down the beach. Great beach bar just a short walk where the food was delicious and had jazz on a Thursday night. We would definitely recommend!

Traumlage

Absolute Traumlage der Villa. Wir (3 Familien) hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Die Villa ist gross genug, sodass man auch seine Privatsphäre geniessen kann. Platz für mind. 3 Autos. Die 2 Zimmer im UG mit direktem Zugang zum Pool könnten eine Auffrischung ertragen, war aber alles sehr sauber. Trotz intensiver Bemühungen der Techniker ging leider das WLAN die ganze Woche nicht. Das Haus präsentiert sich im Allgemeinen sehr gut und frisch renoviert. Zu betonen sind die oberen 2 renovierten Zimmer mit fantastischer 180 Grad Meerblick. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Beautiful Location, Clean House.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The location and views are stunning. The pool is actually bigger than it appears in the pictures. There is also a nice sun bed and plenty of sun loungers. The location is almost equidistant between the old town and the strip. It's a 25 minute journey to Villamoura. House cleaners and pool maintenance came every 3 days and were quick and didn't impact our stay. There's a back gate and pathway that can take you to the beach, although we couldn't find the key for this. We walked around the road way, which wasn't much farther. The 2 bedrooms on the top floor are the premium rooms with up to date, roomy bathrooms and nice beds. The views from these rooms are incredible. The single bedroom on the entry level floor is OK. However the 2 bedrooms on the bottom, pool level floor are a little dark and the bathrooms here definitely need some updating, they're quite old in terms of fittings. A word of warning though, this property would not be good for people who would struggle with stairs as there is a steep/narrow circular stair running the three levels. It wasn't a problem for us though. There were baby gates around the pool and on each stair level, so seemed safe for younger ones. The one thing that makes this property drop from five to four stars is the really terrible Internet/WiFi. I'm an IT networking professional. The DSL connection was continually down and on the rare occasions the line was up it only provided ~200kb (thats kb not mb) download link, not enough for anything but very basic emails, so no web browsing and certainly no streaming. The WiFi router itself needs updating to a more modern model with better range and the owner needs to upgrade their WiFi package to greater download speeds. This is especially important as the mobile phone signal on various carriers in the area is 1-2 bars only. A property of this calibre really should have the best Internet available in the area.

Sea Front Villa

As a family of 7 adults and 3 small children, we stayed at this lovely villa for 10 days. With 5 bedrooms and excellent furnishings throughout it was the perfect choice to relax and unwind. It is built on 3 floors. 2 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, on the base floor with patio doors opening onto the pool area. The main floor comprises the living area and another bedroom with en suite bathroom. The 1st floor, two more bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. All the bathrooms are large with German chrome fittings. There are 3 large dining tables throughout. Child proof stairgates on each floor is good news for families with small children. A laundry room is available to both wash and dry. The heated swimming pool and surrounding lounge was the principal daytime focus for the whole family with plenty of loungers and umbrellas, along with a large day bed.. The kitchen is stocked with a huge array of crockery and utensils along with every electric appliance needed. The owners have thoughtfully also supplied plenty of plastic glasses for use by the poolside. The property is very clean, well maintained and decorated and high spec. There is nothing more I could of required from a holiday villa. There is a small track from the villa down to the sandy beach. You could walk barefoot for the 3 minute walk, but I'd recommend footwear for the path. There are a couple of small supermarkets within a 10 minute walk and a huge supermarket 5 mins in a taxi. (approx 6 euros each way) All in all it is an absolutely gorgeous villa with plenty of space. Our whole family loved every second of our stay. We bought beach toys and inflatables etc for our stay and have left them all in the laundry room for future guests to enjoy. If you are looking for a very well appointed beachfront villa with a good sized pool then look no further than Casa Do Mar. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Great position

Well cleaned. Beds comfort seem to go down with the floors the best being on the top floor. There were no carry overs of basics like salt and pepper. Welcome basket of bread, biscuits, beer, uht milk, sachets of tea coffee and sugar. We had an incident when the main circuit breaker tripped out early evening there were no torches or candles and all the circuit breakers in the house were ok. The meter was shielded by a panel and inaccessible. The emergency phone number went to answering machine, so had the night without power and no hot water in the morning. First thing went to the desk at the resort where the key was obtained from, also sent email. Man came and removed panel and restored the circuit breaker apparently the meter had changed!!! At the same time mentioned that certain kitchen utensils were absent. These appeared in the day along with air freshener for the top right bedrooms shower room. Apart from that inconvenience villa worked well for us with the heated pool and path down to the beach. TV had English channels which was great for the grandkids.

Fantastic location. Great access to lovely beach.

we are three generations of one family including a baby and three other young children and had a very relaxing and comfortable two week stay here spending most of our time in the heated pool or the sea and enjoying Barbecues by the pool. The house is very well presented but the kitchen was small for such a large house with little storage space for food, and the downstairs bathrooms not so attractive. We appreciated safety gates on all the staircases and outside steps making it safe for young children and toddlers and the layout is very good for a mixed age group. The restaurant on the beach has excellent food friendly staff, and only ten minutes walk from the house. We spent a lot of time there as well. Would happily return. The Gallagher Family.

Fabulous villa with stunning views

We were a party of 2 families (4 adults and 4 teenagers) and the villa was just right for us all. It was clean, spacious, modern and with 5 bathrooms there were never any arguments about who was going first for a shower! We have never stayed anywhere with such lovely views of the beach and the coastline and with easy access from the pool area to the beach (although not for those with restricted mobility) meant that we could pop to the beach whenever we wanted to without any fuss or planning. The beach was less crowded where the villa is situated and has a couple of handy beach bars/restaurants. We made use of the barbeque a couple of nights and also found a few nice restaurants near-by although would have found it helpful to have had some info/suggestions in the villa about this. We were a little disappointed with Albufeira town although the teenagers did enjoy a bit of nightlife. We booked onto a boat trip for kayaking and paddle boarding from the marina and there were also other water sport activities further along the beach. We managed well without hiring a car but would recommend getting one if you want to go a bit further afield and explore further along the coastline. All in all, a lovely relaxing week and a perfect place to spend time with family and friends.

The fact that the villa commands stunning views over a beautiful beach and headland makes up a little for the shortcomings of the villa. A villa of 2 halves, the upstairs very comfortable albeit strange smells in the bathrooms, the middle bedroom is average, the lounge sitting area and dining area are good. The downstairs rooms however need attention and updating. The pillows were not pillows but lumpy cushions. Expected a little better for the price charged to be honest but the view makes up for a lot. Great beach bar 300 yards away, very good food.

MYSELF & MY FAMILY LOVED THE VILLA, THE LOCATION WAS BEAUTIFUL & FACILITIES GREAT, THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE PATH GOING TO THE BEACH WAS OVERGROWN & AS WE HAD SMALL CHILDREN IT BECAME A PROBLEM BUT THE ENTRANCE FROM MONICA ISABELA RESORT WAS MUCH MORE ACCESSIBLE FOR CHILDREN & PEOPLE WITH WALKING DIFFICULTIES THE VILLA ITSELF HAD EVERYTHING PROVIDED WOULD LOVE TO DO AGAIN NEXT YEAR

Tolle Villa an Superlage!

Wir durften eine Woche Familienferien an diesem wirklich schönen Ort verbringen. Sensationeller Blick aufs Meer! Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, vor allen Dingen auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern geeignet. Highlight war der beheizte Pool, im April sicher empfehlenswert!

Good stay but not exceptional

The house was nice and generally clean. The fridge was turned off on our arrival which was frustrating. Having a heated pool was key since the ocean was cold. The house was renovated and new in some parts and could use some update in others. Albufeira was too much like party town for us. We should have stayed in another locale.

Dear client, We thank you for your email wish we do appreciate. Regarding the fridge we do once again apologise, the maids with the rush as Peak season forgot to turn it back on. Casa do Mar is a property with a unique location, being on the top of the beach and near town but in a quiet cul de sac that is the reason it is such a popular villa. August is a very busy month and off course Albufeira gets crowded. For clients that prefers quieter area we do have nice villas with private pools for rent in Galé wish is about 10 minutes drive. All the best

WOW! Best view. Quiet location within walking distance between two great towns

We have travelled the world and have stayed in many homes, this place is fantastic. Beautiful decks. Great pool. Lots of room for the 10 of us. Upstairs bedrooms have separate and incredible decks for escaping our children for a few hours.

Super locatie, aan de inrichting mag wat meer aandacht worden besteed.

De inrichting mag wel wat aangepast worden. Lampenkapjes ontbreken dus alleen spaarlampen, niet zo sfeervol. Badkamers zijn wel aan een update toe. De bovenste kamer is overigens heel mooi en aangepast aan deze tijd. Wellicht staan de andere kamers ook op de planning. Bedden vonden we allen echt te hard, maar dat zal ook aan je eigen voorkeur liggen. vanuit deze prachtige villa sta je gelijk op het strand en op loopafstand van het drukke centrum. Een wandeling over het strand naar het centrum is aan te raden. En wat helemaal heerlijk is is het uitzicht op de zee... om bij weg te dromen. Vergeet niet om een wandeling langs de rosten te maken de zee beukt hier tegenaan.

Excellent location!

Very spacious villa with lovely south facing aspect. Stunning views to wake up to and the sound of the waves added total relaxation to our holiday. Very nice pool and terrace with plenty of lounging and entertainment areas. We had a super holiday with easy walks along the beach to Albufeira town. Will definitely visit again!

Beautiful Villa, exceeding expectations

The Villa was everything we hoped for and more! It was clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect villa holiday. Florence was great, really helpful with the booking and answering any queries both before and after our stay. We have recommended it to everyone as it would be well suited to any type of group on holiday. Stunning views over the beach and sea, and a perfectly quiet location but still within walking distance to nightlife, or an inexpensive taxi into the Old Town. Can't wait to book again next year!

Great location but getting a bit tired

Location is great, we walked along the beach to Albufeira several times. Some of the maintenance is in need of attention as below: No mirror in the main bedroom Poor lighting in the bathroom Shower heads leaking, covered in limescale, fittings damaged so that shower would not stay in place in lower bedroom 2 Fridge underpowered and badly needs defrosting Fitting in the fridge missing Floor mats did not appear until day 3 concrete between the tiles around the pool is crumbling making walking around uncomfortable Grill from oven is missing therefore not possible to grill if you do not want to BBQ WiFi code not listed in the book, needed to run modem upside down to get code, ok for us with tech savvy children but could be difficult for others Reception did not respond to request for foam rather than feather pillows Overall a bit on the expensive side for the quality of the villa but rescued by the location
