This house did not disappoint! It was the perfect location for our visits to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. The resident moose and fox made several appearances. The neighborhood is very quiet, and we enjoyed evening walks. Highly recommend!
We have been coming to Jackson for many years and by far we enjoyed staying in the quiet Wilson area especially at this cabin. We were greeted each morning and night by Moose and mule deer plus a fox here and there. The house had all the accommodations we needed and was super comfortable. We will be back in a couple of years !
Great location. 15 minutes from downtown Jackson. 10 minutes from Jackson Hole ski resort. Saw many fox and moose on the property. Nice accomodations, comfortable for group of four. Really enjoyed our stay.
As advertised. What a wonderful log cabin. A comfortable casual warm environment for our family. This log cabin is certainly a fun conversation piece. We will be back. Thank you!
We wanted a home that was close to downtown Jackson but one that we could relax in away from the hustle and bustle. This home provided that along with up close views of moose in our own backyard! The home was very spacious for our party of 6 adults with plenty of room in the common areas for playing cards and games at night. While it had a fun and interesting log cabin wilderness motif, it is a little dated. The kitchen was supplied with the basics but did not have any storage containers to save leftovers. I had to purchase plastic ziplock bags, which I dislike, and left the unused ones behind. I would highly recommend that they replace the refrigerator soon as it only had one shelf in the door which dramatically reduced the usable space. Overall it served our purpose well and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the back yard.
An incredibly well-maintained cabin in the woods with a homey-family feel complete with moose, fox and deer at your doorstep! Walking distance to cross country skiing, and amenities. Owners are amazingly responsive to any needs and a delight to engage with! Highly recommend!
Great location, excellent communication with the owner and wildlife viewing from the cabin was outstanding! We saw moose, mule deer, fox, black and brown bears and a bald eagle soaring above. Highly recommend.
Beautiful cabin set back in the woods that includes everything you need. Wildlife is abundant as we saw 2 Red Foxes daily around the yard and mule deer. Loved our stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this tastefully decorated quaint cabin. It is large enough to comfortably accommodate 6 people. I couldnât ask for a better location - 15 minutes to downtown Jackson. 10 minutes from Grand Teton Village, and about 15-20 minutes from the entrance to the Grand Tetons Natâl Park.
Very easy communication with the owners.
Love this property, my family felt totally at home. Moose in the backyard most every morning. Fall is probably the most beautiful time of year to visit - aspens were stunning.
We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful log cabin. Wonderful neighborhood with lovely market within walking distance, and yet when in the home we felt we had things all to ourselves. The house is wonderful and very comfortable. Mama and Baby Moose spent some time in the side yard!! Had some visits from a fox as well. Very close to downtown Jackson and to Grand Teton National Park. We had a great time and highly recommend!
This cabin was perfect for our stay. We traveled with 3 couples and had plenty of room. The kitchen is well-equipped. We used the beautiful stone fireplace and there was lots of wood available on the back porch. The home is lovely and super clean.
We loved this location for many reasons. First- the animals! We saw a moose right out the window almost every day and a fox that walked right by us on the driveway. The last day, a momma moose and her baby hung out all morning and even came up to the back porch. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and is pretty to walk around. The location is also convenient because you are between the parkâs moose entrance and the town of Jackson. Itâs also close to highway 22 into Idaho. The bike path is easy to get to. The Aspen Market is adorable and has all you need to make a meal although a little pricey and the Persephone Bakery is super close - great place for coffee and breakfast and lunch. The home is warm and cozy. I was worried we might get hot but we actually had to use the heater in the early evenings. It was warm outside during the day but it never felt hot inside. The decor is great although some features like light switches and the heater are a little out dated but they work. They had everything you need for cooking, including spices, oil and plenty of kitchen tools. They have a new really nice washer and dryer. The only thing I did not like was their no shoe policy to keep the carpets clean. I have back problems and need to wear shoes. It also was a pain to take them off everytime I wanted. Also, no grill whichâs
We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect close to the park as well as Jackson. We were greeted by a friendly fox and spent the rest of the week watching her and her pups play in the backyard. We were lucky to see moose appear 3 times, also in the backyard. The cabin was cute and cozy we had a fire every evening (Early May). Our host checked in with us upon arrival to make sure all was well. I highly recommend and would stay again.
Wonderful week at the Weyand's. House well appointed, clean, and cozy. Julie was great to deal with and very responsive and I can definitely see why they love their home. Recommended to anyone and everyone.
Beautiful!
The only negative thing would be that surge protectors need to be used instead of just extension cords. My husband and I are firefighters so we notice those things.
The cabin was all that and more from all of the old fashioned decorations throughout to the fabulous fireplace. Sitting on the deck and watching a moose family come up was one of our highlights. A bear also came through. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants that great cabin experience.
