We enjoyed our stay, the apartment was nice, and the neighborhood felt very safe. What really stood out was the fantastic location â we were within walking distance of several great restaurants and a subway station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city without driving everywhere. There were lots of stairs, the apt is on the 3rd floor and out door entry only.
This place was great. The location was spot on. Businesses were close by. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. Only down side was the planes that flew over head, but that was a minor detail. I would stay here again.
Location is so close to Broadway T, and that makes it so accessible to Boston. We were minutes from everything, and S Boston has much to offer on its own.
Place was clean. Communication was deeply appreciated. Itâs a climb to the third floor with heavy luggage, but thatâs a small sacrifice.
We would stay here again for sure.
This location was perfect for visiting the Kennedy Library, the Freedom Trail, and the airport. It does require climbing three flights of stairs, so that might be an issue for some.
Great place to stay if attending a trade show at BCEC
At about the same cost as local hotels we really enjoyed this unit. Close enough to walk to BCEC. Owner was easy to reach. I enjoy cooking so my compnay saved $$ and if felt a little like home and not living out of a suitcase/Hotel. We did had difficulty with the TV. The roof top deck was a nice place to relax.
Place was fine with the exception of not being able to use the balcony and rooftop for the majority of our visit on account of redoing the deck. I realize it needed to be done, just would have appreciated to know about it prior to the day we arrived.
The property description is spot on. The apartment is well appointed and extremely comfortable. Gary is a great host - open communication and great suggestions for neighborhood entertainment. It is a 5 minute walk to the subway, and from there less than 10 minutes to the Boston Common stop. The subway system is easy to navigate. I parked the car in our reserved space when we arrived and didnât have to move it until we left 4 days later. I couldnât be more pleased and would definitely stay there again. Thanks, Gary!
The condo is exactly as pictured. The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent. It requires walking up three flights of stairs, but my wife and I had no problem even though we are in our late 60s. There was a grocery store and liquor store a few blocks away, and the subway is just a 10 minute walk. I do recommend using Uber, which I found quite affordable. Our host Gary was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a great visit! The neighborhood was very nice.
The VBRO was clean, easy to access and roomy. The only issue was that the sleeper sofa in the living was VERY uncomfortable! We ended up just sleeping on the sectional instead of opening the bed. The second sofa bed in the office/bedroom was much better. But we had 6 adults and needed comfortable sleeping spaces for all of us.
Everything else was great, nice kitchen, plenty of cooking utensils, etc. The designated parking space was a great amenity.
Gary's place was great for what we needed it for. He was very helpful and the rental went smooth. His place is cozy, has a rooftop and two bathrooms. The kitchen is beautiful, but hard to eat together without a dining room table. When I booked it, I didn't realize the second bedroom was a pull-out couch. We also booked his place for its access to the parade, but we didn't know the 3/17 parade was on Sunday. We didn't hangout in Southie and took Lyft to and from Faneuil Hall area 2-4 times a day our entire stay. Next time we visit, we will probably stay more central to be where we want to hangout.
The location was close to restaurants, downtown and the airport. BUT!
The unit is cluttered!!
The unit sleeps 4-6 and can only seat 2 people at the kitchen table. The seats at the table have no support and you sink down when sitting.
The master bedroom has nude pictures of women over the bed, which is inappropriate for adults and children.
The toilet in the master bath runs after flushing.
Alarm clock was left on and woke us at 6 am
No closet space for hanging items in master bedroom.
No cable TV as advertised and TV's in bedrooms have no signal.
Balcony did not have amenities as shown in pictures.
The second bedroom has a queen mattress on sofa bed springs and offers no support. The springs are worn which make you roll toward the middle of the bed.We didn't get a good nights sleep the 3 nights we were there.
The picture of the second bedroom on the website doesn't show the total room.
There is a gun safe. desk and chair and other items which make the room small.
I have stayed in over 10 VRBO's/HOME AWAY in the past and this is the most disappointing.
This property exceeded all our expectations! The space was incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver for usâcoming off a cruise and staying a few extra days in Boston, being able to do laundry was invaluable. The location couldn't be better. We were within easy reach of grocery stores, numerous dining options, and downtown Boston. Uber rides were very reasonably priced for all our outings, making it simple to explore the city. The host clearly put thought into every detail, and it made our stay seamless and comfortable. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!
The reserved parking space was close to the condominium. Restaurants and grocery stores were within walking distance - .2 mile to 1 mile. The owner was very responsive to our communications. We would stay here again and highly recommend this VRBO rental.
Property is as it is listed. With the directions given, we were able to find it without a problem. Overall the property was outstanding. There are a few things that could use a little attention to detail otherwise we had a great stay, nothing kept is from gaving a great vacation while staying at this property. Gary was responsive and made sure we had what we needed in a timely manner.
I have lived in Boston all my life but travel extensively, preferably overseas. I attended both law school and business school. I enjoy snowboarding, playing lacrosse, hiking, trail biking, working out, and of course travel.
