Came in for a long weekend to do a little skiing with one of my kids while my wife and the other 2 kids enjoyed their days in the heated outdoor pool and outdoor hot tubs that were very conveniently located to our unit. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Great rental for family of four skiing over New Year's
We planned our winter ski trip pretty late and were pleasantly surprised with this rental. Everything was clean and well stocked and it was plenty large enough for our family of four, with the kids sharing the bunk bed room. It's about a 12 minute walk up to base, or a really quick drive. Even though it was very cold outside and the fireplace is the only heat for the main area, it wasn't at all hard to keep it a comfortable temperature. We liked the location on the first floor so our kids could play in the snow right outside the sliding doors. The management company was organized and helpful.
The property was very nice. It has a washer and dryer which is a plus. The only complaint is the only heat in the living room is the fireplace and it is very noisy. The hot tub and pool were great after a day on the slopes
We stayed in unit 319 and it was just about perfect. The property it self was very nice and very well maintained. Every morning there was staff cleaning up the grounds and the pool area. The grills worked well and trash/recycling was convenient. The condo itself was nicely equipped. The bunk beds were great for the kids, the kitchen had everything you could need, and the in unit laundry worked well. We will definitely coming back next year!
The condo was conveniently located and well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances. The complex has a nice pool and 3 hot tubs. The condo was spacious and provided plenty of room for 4 people but would be crowded for 6. The king-size bed was not comfortable and the overall decor of the condo seemed a bit worn.
I was not impressed by Retreatia. The Retreatia bus was unreliable and never showed up on time at the Gondola base to pick us up. The management seemed unable to accurately scheduled the shuttle bus and even once I was told Retreatia didn't manage the property where I was staying even though I had just spoken to another agent in the office following up on my ride. The office personnel seemed confused and had a poor scheduling system.
In addition, Retreatia charges a significant cleaning fee but expects the tenant to remove the trash from the condo upon checkout. Overall, I didn't feel the condo was a good value and the transportation service was poorly managed.
The pictures for the condo we stayed in have been removed and replaced by photos of a different condo-not sure why, but the photo's were accurate at the time of booking.
I found out that most of the properties in the complex are managed by Steamboat Resorts which offers continuous shuttles every 10 minutes from the complex.
Rate 3....affordable, well stocked, comfortable, easy to the mountain and free bus. Close trip to pool and hot tub. Porch was full of ashes, smokers from above dropped down to our level. Pretty gross. Spring breakers around but to be expected, condo management kept them respectable. . Would return when on a budget. The management for this unit is separate from the complex. They are very responsive to make your stay a enjoyable one.
The condo at Timber Run is a very comfortable condo with everything included to make your stay comfortable. Nicely appointed. The amenities(pool, sauna, hot tubs, tennis court and grills) are great.
