This little duplex was great. Very clean and accomdating for us. Its close to restaurants and a grocery store. It even has a garage. Overall a very good VRBO experience.

Excellent Hillcrest Home

The location is convinent and the neighborhood is very comfortable and safe. The house was clean and provided everything we needed. We would definately be happy to stay here again when in Little Rock.

Great Spot

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. This house is minutes from many stores, which was nice since we had to run out more than once. The couches and beds were comfortable, and there were more than enough towels for the six of us. I definitely recommend this location.

Comfortable and convenient!

We enjoyed the comfortable living room and our roomy bedrooms. Loved our visit to the children's museum on a dreary, rainy Saturday. Our host was helpful and accessible.

Sorry there was no coffee. We always provide it so I will make sure and check with our cleaning service to make sure they are putting it out for our guests.

Great location

This property is truly in the heart of LR, being close to everything we needed. The home is very clean and met our needs. It is extremely hot this time of year in AR and the air conditioning definitely fought hard, but it remained close to 80 in the house for most of our stay. Having fans in the bedrooms would be a nice addition. Hosts were informative and friendly. We could not find laundry soap, dish pods, or trash bags, so bring your own if you plan to stay a few days. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay and would definitely stay with this host again.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. It is very hot this time of year and you came a few days before our ac unit was getting regularly checked, like we do a few times through the year. After it was serviced, it was working perfectly and keeping the unit very cool. We have discussed with our cleaning crew about the items they forgot to restock. We would have been glad to have those items delivered if we had known about them during your stay. Would love to have you stay again if you are in the area.

The duplex is very clean and free from stuffy, odd, or mildew smells. It was the perfect set up for the 4 adults staying and only a few blocks to a Kroger and eateries. Quick trips to Arkansas Children’s made it the perfect location. Very hot water and water pressure, ample supplies for easy meals, nice towels and plenty of them. In house washer and drawer made our 23 day stay much easier. Beds are softer than our preference but everyone slept well and there’s solid furniture in the living room not flimsy uncomfortable seats. AC kept up with the upper 90’s heat. We felt safe, it was budget friendly, and met all our needs, not a lot of frills but certainly top notch for basics.

Left after a few hours

We asked to check in a couple of hours early, and the host was very accommodating in that regard. The garage door was not working properly, so we were unable to use that parking space. Even if the door had opened, the garage was filthy and had trash inside so our vehicle wouldn’t have fit anyway. The host allowed us to park our 2nd vehicle on the grass, so that took care of the parking situation. However, the reason we left after only a few hours, rather than staying our 2 nights, was due to the condition of the beds. All 3 beds had dirty/stained sheets. The box spring mattresses were squeaky and uncomfortable. The host did not offer any type of reimbursement so we paid for the Vrbo plus two hotel rooms for our two nights in town.

Sorry you did not have a good stay. We were very accommodating and let you in to the property early. Also everything was clean and ready for you when you arrived. You never mentioned to us about anything being dirty or not clean. You mentioned the garage door was not working, which we knew nothing about from past guests, and we were able to get the garage door fixed first thing the following morning, which was a Saturday. There was plenty of room in the garage for you to park. If there were things in your way, you should have notified us and we would have taken care of it as soon as possible. You also never contacted us during your stay about any issues and you never asked for a refund. We Always take care of our guest and any issues while they're there, but we have to know about the problem in order to take care of it. Therefore, if you would have notified us, we would have taken care of everything for you. It's hard to fix any issues if you don't tell anybody. We have people stay with us all the time that talk about how clean our property is and how accommodating we are.

Simple stay, stellar neighborhood

Chris’s communication was fantastic, the accommodations were just what we needed. The neighborhood is not to be beat for walking access to everything! We will definitely stay at Chris’s property again given the opportunity.

Birthday Weekend

I rented this property for my sons birthday weekend. The host was kind enough to allow him and a friend to stay so they could attend Comic-Con. The host was very responsive to questions and easy to communicate with. The boys had a great weekend and enjoyed being able to cook and not have to eat out! Thank You so much for allowing us the rental!

A great summer in Hillcrest

I stayed at this property over the summer and enjoyed the house and neighborhood a lot. The house itself is great, has a great layout, and has a nice "older house" charm and look while having all the important things (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, A/C) being modern, and the owner was very kind, responsive, and respectful. I had a great stay!

Great Location

My husband and I stayed in the Hillcrest Duplex for several weeks. What a great location! Walkable neighborhood! Always felt safe! Chris was easy to work with! The duplex had just what we needed for a great stay!
