Great apartment!! Modern, clean and light. Safe and secure. Ten minute walk to the Waterfront and shops and restaurants. Jasonâs bakery down the street has the best breakfast! Would recommend this flat highly.
We cannot speak highly enough about the accommodations at Hannes apartment for our 6 week stay in Cape Town. The apartment was clean, equipped with all that you would need in the kitchen & living area...to have a washer/dryer combination in the apartment was wonderful...and the location was perfect with a 10 minute walk to the V&A waterfront...Hannes was excellent to deal with & could be contacted at anytime if required...We would definitely return & would recommend to anyone that may be looking for an apartment rental in Cape Town. Thanks again Hannes. Frank & Armand
Communication with Hannes and Francois was fast and effective. The listing description was accurate, and the property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, with good quality linen. Sufficient seating. The owners went the extra mile with myciti bus cards, a complimentary bottle of wine, and easy early check-out. The secure parking bay is a real benefit. The area can be recommended. Woolworths food store right around the corner made self-catering easy. The apartment block is well maintained and quiet, the doorman friendly and the area, walking distance to the V & A Waterfront, felt safe. I will definitely recommend, and would like to stay again in future.
The studio apartment is lovely, in an excellent location (Green Point) near the V&A Waterfront, Sea Point and the city centre, and with a view over the harbour and east towards the city centre and Devil's Peak. It is both modern and comfortable, with a well-equipt kitchen - I especially like the automatic coffeemaker! - DSTV and a washing machine. The neighborhood has a good selection of restaurants and a Woolworths food market just around the corner. Hannes and Francois are most welcoming and helpful hosts. I shall most definitely be returning!
Stayed almost 2 weeks in this compact and well-situated open-plan apartment near the Green Point Stadium. Part of the mountain is visible from the flat. It is ideal for a single person, or a couple. Impeccably clean and simply but well appointed. Kitchen area is mostly out of sight from bedroom section. Big plusses are the excellent shops close by. In particular, if you want to self-cater or simply eat in, there is a Woolworths Food a short walk away with an ATM in a safe location outside for cash withdrawals. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, and Giovanni's Deli are also close by, as is bus transportation. For those with a car there is a parking space in the basement for the apartment that is accessed with a remote key. Lobby attended most of the time. Building well maintained, trash collected frequently. Enjoyed the stay as well as the welcome items that the hosts lay out. Will most probably not be our last stay in this pleasant vacation apartment!
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I stayed for a month in Nov/Dec 2014 and loved it and am going back again for another month in a few weeks' time. The apartment is fantastically light with a gorgeous view across to Table Mountain. The bed is very comfy, shower is good, furniture is just what is needed. There's even a soft fluffy rug! The kitchen is well equipped. The wifi is easy to set up and works well. The location is just perfect - very easy walking distance to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants literally just round the corner on the main road, and only 10 minutes' walk from the V&A Waterfront. There's a gorgeous park a few minutes' walk in the other direction, and walking all the way through it brings you out onto the sea front - a great route for anyone who likes to run. It's walking distance into the city centre in the opposite direction or there's a MyCiti bus stop on the main road just by the apartment for easy access down to Camps Bay and Hout Bay or into the city centre to link up with routes further afield in Cape Town. I stayed for a month with no car quite happily. Hannes is also very helpful, responsive and accommodating. My only reservation in recommending this place too highly would be in case it gets too booked up for me to go back!
Nicely located, compact, nicely decorated, and awesome hosts had a blast using this location to visit the Cape Town area . Very convenient to the V&A, local restaurants, market, and public transportation. Thanks, Hannes
Lives up to the description, a great place to stay
The apartment is both accurately described and identical to the site photos.
With good building security (night guard on reception desk all night) and secure underground parking we felt very safe, both in the apartment and in the neighbourhood.
The building is in a quiet street but so close to bus transport, the V@A docks and the city centre. The property is clean and well maintained and contained everything we needed (washing machine, iron, pots and pans etc.) for our very comfortable 2 week stay. The high view from the apartment to the city and bay is a delight. There is much attention to detail in the fit-out of the apartment and clear descriptions on how to use TV, appliances etc. We also appreciated the food items, biscuits and chocolates provided. In fact it was the best equipped self-catering apartment in which we have stayed and certainly represents good value for money.
No phone, but WIFI internet is reliable and inexpensive. I purchased 3MB and stiil had some credit remaining at the end of our 2 weeks stay. We received a warm welcome from Hannes and Francois who also took time to describe attractions of the immediate area, important for me as it was my first visit to Cape Town.
A good restaurant, "Manos", is at the corner of the street and a Woolworths supermarket next door open until 9pm It had all we needed during our stay and it was just a 2 minute walk from the apartment.
I can highly recommend the apartment and will most certainly stay there again on a future visit as it ticked all the right boxes for us.

I am a true South African born and raised in the Free State and moved to Cape Town in 2000.
I bought this apartment in 2015. At the time this was a real 'ugly duckling'. I made it my mission to turn it into a 'swan'. Today I am really very proud to host my friends, and family. We all love 'Kassie' (short for Cascades) and I am sure you will do to!
This little flat has it all, views, a outside balcony, parking, modern interior, air-condition, security and above all brilliant location and good, fast free wi-fi!
