2 chambres plus loft, terrasse spacieuse donnant sur le lac paisible et cristallin et la plage privée, cabane en rondins privée, toutes les commodités, y compris laveuse et sécheuse, cuisine complète avec tous les appareils, l'un des lacs les plus clairs et les plus propres du Minnesota.
Une cachette de cabine unique située dans les majestueux bois profonds du Minnesota en face d'une belle plage de sable privée, d'un foyer et de la vraie nature.

Idéal pour les promenades dans la nature, la détente, les couchers de soleil sur le lac et toujours la bonne pêche. Profitez des appels du huard et de la faune. Ponton disponible à la location. Conditions spéciales du bateau: tous les bateaux doivent être nettoyés et certifiés exempts d'espèces envahissantes et le jet skies n'est pas autorisé. Les amis à fourrure sont les bienvenus tant qu'ils sont bons avec les autres et les chiens.

It was very relaxing enjoyed the beach the gazzabo the cabin but very little water pressure in the shower otherwise it was great will definatly stay there again in the future!

A Great Pace

We enjoyed our time at this secluded cabin. The fishing and lake were excellent. The cabin was clean and up to date. Our host was very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this spot if you want to get away from the everyday rush that life brings.

Perfect for us!

Northern getaway

We had a great time enjoying the peace and quiet this home provides. The lake is beautiful and there is a large deck to enjoy as well as a screened in gazebo. The home is well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a great time, thank you!

Beautiful setting and accommodations

Loved this peaceful get-away! The beach and water are perfect for floating and relaxing, the woods and nearby areas are lovely for exploring, the beds and bedding are top-notch, kitchen is fully stocked. Inside and out---this place had everything we were looking for! Penny is the best host, very attentive and accommodating. We hope to return soon!

Very nice

A great blend of rustic wilderness and modern amenities. We loved the sandy beach and sand bottom swimming area. The pontoon, canoe and kayak were great to use. Very private and relaxing vacation. The deck and upper level provide great views of lake, sunrises and sunsets.

Always a great stay!

We keep returning every summer because this place has everything we need. The house is comfortable and clean, kitchen well stocked, the property is private and surrounded by trees, and our kids love the sandy beach. We love using the hammock, kayak, canoe, and fire pit too. This year we got to enjoy the screen porch and we spent a lot of time out there playing games and watching some tv. Thank you, Penny, for the great stay!

First vacation with grandchild without their parents!

Our 5, 5, and 7 year old grandchildren loved the dock and beach. So relaxing to watch them play. It doesn't take much to fulfill their needs. Your screened in gazebo was so helpful for the extra space for our kids to hang out-less sand tracked into the cabin. Lovely accommodations for us to build this grandparent muscle! You are close to Detroit Lakes so hunting for trolls was fun for us too. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Another very nice vacation

We were returning visitors, and loved it just as much this time as we did the first. Pretty little lake, great for bobber fishing and swimming. Nice indoor setup with Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV for down time between outdoor activities. Generally perfect for a family with two school age children. Definitely recommend renting the pontoon to make the most of the lake.

A much needed reset!!

We had a great time at this cabin. The cabin was fully stocked with everything one would need. The fishing was amazing!! We canoed, got to watch fledgling bald eagle getting ready to leave their nest. Penny was a great host who was sweet enough to even offer us fresh produce from her garden while we were there. This would be a place we will visit again.

Peaceful getaway

Had a wonderful time with our family at this property. Enjoyed mornings watching all the various birds over the lake, enjoyed a campfire by the beach, and made some fantastic family memories on this trip. This property has everything you need…even a mini crockpot. No need to worry about bringing towels, cooking gear etc., it is all there and in perfect working order. The property owner was a delight to work with. Can’t wait to come back to enjoy this property again.

Wonderful Vacation Spot!

We were very impressed how clean and neat the cabin was. It was easy to find and plenty of room to keep our boat and trailer. It was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this place for all visitors, from families to couples. There were all the amenities to enjoy our stay. We went tubing, skiing, hiking and wake boarding. Thanks to Penny for being so responsive to our schedule, she was a joy to work with. Enjoy!!

A perfect stay

This was our second time at the cabin. It checks all the boxes for us. Cozy, well stocked cabin with comfortable beds. Private sandy beach for the kids to play and swim, canoe and kayak, fire pit for s’mores, ping pong in the basement, and tv with Netflix for rainy days. Penny is a great host and our kids love when her dog Tigger comes by for a visit. We already booked our week for next summer and are excited to use to the new screen porch being built!

Beautiful, Relaxing, Your own private getaway!

Amazing! Cabin & scenery are absolutely beautiful. So much privacy- your own deck full of comfy furniture facing the lake, your own yard for your pet to romp & play, your own sandy beach, your own dock + a great Pontoon available for rent. We planned 3 nights & ended up staying for 4 coz it's that relaxing. It's so amazing we're switching to this cabin for our annual week vacation next summer and hopefully every summer going forward! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a vacation where you can get all the amenities of a pet friendly resort plus more, without the people.

Lovely beach

We really enjoyed the on site sandy beach. The cabin is remote enough that you don't see other neighboring cabins even though there are many cabins on the lake. Wifi was good enough to watch TV. Caught fish right off the dock. They are building a screen house that will be great to use when completed. Deck and patio furniture it very comfortable. Cabin had everything we needed for cooking.

Great for families with small kids

This property was accurately represented in the photos - a nice hybrid of a cabin and a house with great amenities. The TV with Netflix was particularly helpful for keeping my 3 year old son occupied during meal prep. The little beach was great for swimming - sandy and private. We also rented the pontoon, which I would recommend - our kids loved the little lake, where we pulled out about 100 sunfish over a few short bursts of fishing. Overall, just what we were looking for! Penny was also great to deal with, would highly recommend.

Great Week Up North

Our week on Big Sugar Bush Lake was wonderful. It was more of work retreat because our college-age son was with us taking classes remotely. And my wife had some work matters to attend to. But one reason we chose this cabin is it provides internet access, and it worked very well. The cabin itself is great, as is the location on the lake and the nice sandy beach. The host is attentive and readily available, and the winery she operates is close by. We recommend the Zin!

My parents came to sugarbush when I was a youngster more than 30 some years ago and I now have a home there as do many of my relatives. It was such a gift to know and love this lake. I also own the local winery, Richwood Winery, and spend most of the summer in paradise.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My parent's home is special as it has a sandy beach , which is rare in this tree-lined , often steep banked lake. It is has been completely updated to provide modern conveniences while keeping the charm of the log cabin in the woods that my parents created.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

One of the cleanest lakes in Minnesota. Pontoon available for rent (the preferred method of cruising the lake), a canoe and kayak available for free on the beach, very quiet and isolated on a private dead end road. Dogs are welcome and because it is so isolated, most have been able to freely run round without worry. Fiber Internet, Netflix, UTube TV, blue ray are also there if you want it.
To be on one of the best swimming lakes in Minnesota with abundant wild life is an experience I want to share with others.
