And yes-- even though the flat is on a quiet pedestrian street, and not the noisy main street with cars and trams, it is in the Old Town, so sometime a noisy person or group on the street can be heard at night, but we have found that closing the double-windows keeps things quiet, and using the fans at night to keep cool works well. Thanks for the honest review, and we're glad that overall you enjoyed your stay. It's true that the unit does not have A/C, but the fans in each of the rooms really help to keep things cool even during the big heat waves. And as to bugs, that is very much a rarity in Prague, which is why almost none of the windows and doors here have screens, but sorry to hear if you were bothered with that. As to the outside noise, it unfortunately takes only a few loudmouths on the street to disturb the buildings in the area, and that is part of the joy as well as the hassle of staying in the Old Town, but with the double-windows closed (and using the fans if it's warm weather), most of the sound is kept to a minimum. But sorry to hear you were disturbed. In any case, take care!
