Mostly a great stay
The apartment is just a short walk to the main gate into the old city and very close to the beautiful Turia gardens so we were very pleased with location. Nice balcony and spacious comfortable living room. It was relatively quiet although the walls were a little thin (I could hear someone snoring in the next apartment :-D) but the bed was very comfortable.Our only complaint is that the property manager never responded to our request to fix the bathroom sink that was clogged and not usable from the day we moved in. Also, the dishes and placemats need to be replaced (time worn and stained.)We were generally pleased with our stay with these few exceptions.

Ideal apartment
This apartment is in an ideal location – just outside the bustle of the old town, close to transportation and grocery stores, and an easy walk through the Serrano Gate into the town or along the Turia Park. Comfortable, well-equipped, in a quiet building, David’s apartment is just what we were looking for. He is an excellent host, friendly, quick to respond, and knowledgeable about the city. We were here for three weeks – this is highly recommended for a long stay. It came to feel like home - we will definitely be back here on our next trip to Valencia.

Great base for exploring Valencia
The apartment is well situated only about 10 minutes walk from the start of the old city, but with pastry/bread shop, supermarket and loads of bars and eating places around. Very comfortable living/dining room and great to watch València life go by from the balcony.

Apartment in Valencia - walking distance to old town.
David was very good and quick at responding to our inquiries. The location of the apartment to the old town is very walkable.
The only draw back is that the bedrooms are small. The balcony and the amount of sun coming in to the living room is a big plus. The beautiful eucalyptus tree in front of the balcony gives a good amount of shade and is beautiful to look at.

This is a great apartment that meets all the needs for an excellent visit to Valencia, a great holiday destination in itself. within walking distance of the city center, it also has great transport links as stated in the ad. With a good size main room it felt light and airy.

A Great Place to Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment is in a good location with supermarkets close by and a pleasant walk into the old town over the Serranos bridge and through the old gate under the towers. The walk to and from the city can be varied using the Turia gardens and the various access points, we walked from the City of Arts and Science to the Neuvo Centre and Botanic gardens (not all in one journey). Thankfully the apartment was a quiet haven to rest and recover in after a full day pounding the pavements, galleries and museums and we were very comfortable. We slept really well on the very comfortable bed with crisp white bedding and appreciated the fluffy white towels in the bathroom. The kitchen was a well equipped space and we enjoyed cooking some meals with ingredients bought locally.
The description is very accurate but does not convey the really comfortable and homely atmosphere of the apartment or the generous/friendly/helpful host’s. A great place to stay and one that we can truly recommend.

Perfect Locaton
I spent 3 months at this location. It is very well located with he metro to the beach almost across the road and a short distance to Old City entrance.
The building is safe, clean and well maintained. The apartment is as advertised. Neighborhood is friendly and for the most part Spanish speaking only. There are plenty of places to eat or drink and much less costly than the old city.

A Very Comfy Flat Close to the Historic City
We had a wonderful stay at the flat. The location was perfect, a short stroll to the old city, with all it has to offer. The flat itself was very well furnished, comfortable beds, linens, and kitchen supplies. David was so attentive to our needs and making sure we were comfortable - a very fine host. I would certainly recommend this flat to anyone staying in Valencia. A surprise was a wonderful parkway - miles of great walking, biking, picnics just steps from the apartment.

We stay at the propertie for easter and the apartment was perfect for the family. Really good location, very near from the old town, perfect to go by foot and only 15-20 min. from the beaches in car. The neighborhood really calm and with all facilities (bakery, supermarkets, valenbisi, etc.)...We enjoyed a lot our visit to Valencia and Javier and David were really very kind. Always responsive and ready to give us recommendations! We loved our stay in they apartment.

Apartment in great location
The apartment was in a great location for us. Easy and frequent transport links to where we wanted to get to. The Old Town/Torres de Serrano and Turia Park were for us a pleasant short walk away. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Supermarkets really close too. The apartment was decent with all that was needed for our stay of two weeks. The shower was a bit tricky to work out as it got hot and cold intermittently but eventually we got used to it. We found that the wi-fi signal was strong in the living room but kept dropping off when we were in the bedrooms. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here.

Good size and very comfortable
We enjoyed our stay at this property in Valencia. It was very comfortable and the distribution was excellent, with the bedrooms at one end of the hall and the living room at the other side so didn't suffer from my daughter and her friend watching tv late at night. The only thing I recommend is replacing the bath towels as those are really worn out. But aside from that small detail, everything else worked perfectly. David was really helpful in providing so much information about the city and the surrounding area.

Nice apartment great location
We stayed for a short break . The apartment was exactly what we wanted. Great location walking distance to the old town and access to transport/ shops / restaurants etc. I read other reviews and the mention of noise from neighbours which there was some but to be honest it didn’t bother us too much . You are in a residential block and people have to go to work but we are early risers so we were out from early . We did hear the musical practice I think maybe an oboe or clarinet but it was one hour and we sat on the balcony and watched the world go by . The main things for me are a comfortable bed with nice bed linen . Plenty of nice clean towels and hot water . The kitchen equipment could do with updating ie toaster and kettle .overall a good stay in a great location.

A great place to call home for 2 months!
The apartment was very roomy and exactly as shown in the pictures. I particularly liked looking out onto the Eucalyptus tree and it was hard to believe you were in the middle of the city! The apartment also looks out onto a palm lined street so there is no shortage of greenery or sun. The furniture is very comfortable which often is lacking in rental apartments and certainly appreciated when we were staying for 2 months. The bedrooms are very quiet since they look onto the light well but once night falls we found the area very peaceful. Even during Falla the noise level was manageable. The location is fantastic. Easy to walk everywhere....old town, downtown, Turia Garden, etc. The tram to the beach is one block north. Many food shops all around the neighbourhood and a bakery on the ground floor made shopping super easy.
And finally, David was always prompt, accommodating, and very informative. Valencia is, without a doubt, an amazing city and the apartment on Calle de Sagunto was a nice place to return to each day.

Great Location but Extremely Noisy Building
This is a nice apartment with easy access to much of Valencia on foot. Only 10-15 minutes walk from Valencia old town with great restaurants, shops etc. Good local supermarkets , bakeries, small bars etc a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. However, the apartment is in a residential block and the noise from the upstairs neighbours is unacceptable. They seem to drag their furniture across the hard flooring continuously and at the weekends undertake DIY with the prolonged use of power tools. On the Saturday early evening when we returned to the apartment to shower and change they were having saxophone practice with the woman of the house singing to introduce the rhythm for the budding musician. There are at least 2 dogs living in the building, one on the same floor as the apartment which barks only occasionally but there is another one on the ground floor which howls, hounds of the Baskerville style, for prolonged periods of time. the dogs are healthy and well cared for and the owners are extremely nice. On weekday mornings the sounds of people preparing for work and school begin around 7am with shutters and doors being banged , locks being double locked etc. This continues until around 9.30 and then the furniture dragging upstairs begins for the day. I don’t see a resolution to this as it is a residential building. We were only in Valencia for 5 days and were out for a lot of the time but I feel that for people who are there for a longer time that it would very quickly become a real issue. re the continuing saga of the lack of a toaster, the owners thinks that he has a combined microwave and grill but it is only a microwave , no grilling ability and the oven is a very old fashioned conventional oven which takes forever to heat. I understand that the owner is concerned that the apartment only has 5kw of electricity. I have a house in Spain with 4.6kw of electricity and a note to guests saying , please don’t use the toaster, kettle and aircon at the same time will prevent power trip outs. the arrival procedure is poor and seems to depend on the guests having smart phones with 4G capability. Despite having told the owner that we would arrive at 7pm, we were left in the street for 35 mins. When he arrived he was beyond rude.The other problem with the check in is that the owner did not complete the forms required by the police regarding our presence in his apartment but we resolved this ourselves by taking our passports etc into the police.

Die Kommunikation mit David und seinem Kollegen war unkompliziert und freundlich. Auch die Lage der Wohnung - der kurze Weg in die Altstadt und die vielen Bistros und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten "vor der Haustür" - waren super. Leider haben wir ansonsten nichts Positives zu der FeWo mitzuteilen. Tatsächlich ist das Interieur arg in die Jahre gekommen und auch die Sauberkeit lässt an einigen Stellen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Wohnung müsste nicht nur eine intensive Grundreinigung - vor allem in Küche und Bad - erfahren, sondern auch Geräte wie Wasserkocher, Toaster, Backofenrost, Dunstabzugshaube usw., aber auch Bettwäsche und Handtücher einfach mal erneuert werden. Außerdem war uns persönlich die direkte Nachbarschaft im Haus zu laut, da das Haus sehr hellhörig ist, aber das ist Geschmackssache und stört vielleicht nicht jeden. Die wirklich tolle Stadt und die Ausflüge in die Umgebung haben uns letztendlich aber entschädigt, sodass es trotzdem ein sehr schöner Urlaub war.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
My property offers a pleasant airy south facing aspect thus naturally bright (all day long) & surprisingly spacious living/dining room leading on to a charming 'eye of the sun' balcony offering an unusual (for the city centre!) delightful open tree-lined perspective. The modern building being constructed and maintained - full exterior of building facade & internal light-wells cleaned & repainted/repointed - to a very decent standard for S.Spain. Offers unusually for building of this size, dual lifts - most comparable buildings offer just the one! - extra efficiency & reliability - & ramps from street level.
Excellent communications. Just 5/8min direct walk to the C.14 Serranos towers to Carmen (entrance to Historic city) the city's trendiest most International & its most cosmo' quarter. Metro 'Sagunto' 90m offering fast direct, regular beach service - quicker than by car/bus (enroute 50 sets of traffic lights!). 3 A.1 value supermarkets are within 1-4 min direct walk.
'Mains' gas provides unlimited hot water for decent multiple showers unlike 'all-electric' standard apartments - due to Spanish power restrictions - with statutory standard 1.4Kw max immersion's. That'll be one full 8 min shower. Next person will wait & wait.....

* 300Mb Fibre Optic for streaming music or films in full H.D without the city's now infamously unreliable ADSL & its constant 'drop-outs' @ peak times i.e; 20.00-23.00 & weekends! * Delightful south facing balcony, enjoy year round sunshine. * Dual Inverter energy efficient air/conditioning - & not the usual solo unit - for your comforts offering winter warmth & summer freshness. * Spacious 24m2 full of daylight comfortable living room. * Ease of access to all the city's best attractions. * Brilliant funky kids play areas & adults exercise machines in the delightful recently completed Jarden de Morverdre - just opposite. * Nearby @ 2min 'El Bocaito' terraced bar/cafe & Asturian restaurant. * On-street mostly unrestricted car-parking - rarely available & quite impossible in the majority of Spanish towns. Save yourself all the associated hassles & inevitable expenses - average 18€ daily rate - with this somewhat overlooked, but excellent cost-effective advantage. Some patience or timing as per my 'Tip' for easier parking times
***** SAVVY SHOPPERS ***** Want to save some serious money on top Spanish clothing brands? Then walk or hop on bus 8 (4 mins) along Calle Ruaya to main bus station where right next door is the Nuevo Centro (City's biggest mall) & El Cortes Ingles - Take MetroBus 160 for express service (allow 26 mins) to Centre Comercial Bonaire - reputedly Spain's largest out of town mall & savings upwards of 80% off.
