Nous louons deux autres propriétés sur VRBO # 467927 et # 699521 avec une cote 5 étoiles. Ceci est notre maison personnelle mise à disposition pour 2 semaines seulement.

La propriété est située sur un terrain de 3,5 acres avec 250 'de rivage magnifique. La maison est située sur un point avec vue au sud du célèbre Cave Point.

Cette nouvelle maison a une grande chambre principale et une salle de bain principale au rez-de-chaussée avec douche à l'italienne. Il y a une grande pièce centrée dans la maison avec un foyer en maçonnerie de 18 'de hauteur. Un téléviseur à écran plat LED de 60 "avec Dish TV est prêt à regarder vos émissions préférées. Tous les planchers du rez-de-chaussée sont en bois ou en carreaux.

La cuisine est très spacieuse avec la gamme Wolf, 2 réfrigérateurs, lave-vaisselle, armoires en cerisier. Tous les comptoirs de la maison sont en granit.

Vous vous trouverez très détendu et confortable.

Il y a un changement dans la procédure de perception des impôts VRBO. VRBO comprend la taxe pour les taxes d'État et de comté sur votre devis, mais la taxe locale de chambre est facturée après la réservation. La taxe locale sur les chambres du comté de Door est de 5 1/2%.

L'emplacement est parfait. Vous avez 10 à 15 minutes pour à peu près tout ce que vous voulez faire, mais vous êtes dans un cadre assez paisible. J'ai grandi dans le comté de Door et j'ai choisi cet endroit pour construire notre maison de rêve. J'aime être détendu sans entendre une autoroute très fréquentée, la circulation et beaucoup de monde quand je rentre à la maison. Vous allez adorer l'emplacement.

Si vous aimez faire de la randonnée, il y a une réserve naturelle qui borde notre allée. Il a un grand chemin qui traverse les bois et le long d'un ruisseau qui va du lac Kangourou au lac Michigan. Vous pouvez également faire de longues promenades sur la plage, mais avec l'augmentation du niveau de l'eau, la plage devient plus petite et vous devrez peut-être vous mouiller les pieds par endroits.

A l'étage, 3 autres chambres et une grande salle de repos avec table de ping-pong.

Les patios sont en pierre bleue et il y a un grand foyer avec vue sur l'eau. Asseyez-vous autour du feu la nuit et partagez des histoires sous le ciel étoilé.

J'ai une famille qui habite à 2 minutes si vous avez besoin d'aide pour quoi que ce soit.

Il est difficile de trouver une maison de ce calibre avec une telle intimité et des vues à couper le souffle. Nous savons que vous chérirez votre séjour ici.

Beautiful home with tremendous views

I had the great pleasure to stay at this beautiful home Labor Day weekend. What a gorgeous peaceful place with amazing views of Lake Michigan. It is a clean well kept home with comfortable beds. Totally recommend this home for your next stay in Door County

Quiet and beautiful beach house

We rented this beautiful beach front home for my family of four, my parents, and my brothers. As always, we had a wonderful time. The view of the lake is gorgeous — the patio and its view is a great spot for morning coffee. The kitchen and home is well equipped for guests. My family enjoys spending time together and this is such a perfect location for it!

Sunset Shores is the perfect getaway from city life. Nestled against the shoreline, it's beachfront offered the perfect scenic backdrop for my morning run. From the house to the point was roughly a mile making for the perfect two mile loop. Later in the afternoons (once my boyfriend was actually up) it's the perfect spot to stroll while the sun goes down. After dark there is a quaint fire pit outside to cozy up to, or the wonderful fireplace inside. Equipped with a wine cooler in the kitchen, Sunset Shores has everything one needs for the perfect night in with friends or family. Lovely house, and a quiet location.

Beautiful quiet lake house

We had a great time. The kitchen was well equipped. The house, yard, and view were beautiful. There were toys and books for the kids. Bailey’s harbor is the quieter side of the peninsula and this house is tucked back in a forested area where it’s particularly serene. We had a wonderful time. Only problem was the internet was not working. The owner was out of town without good cell coverage, and we were unable to work it out with the internet provider because we weren’t owners on the account. We went the week without internet.

Lovely stay in Door County

We really enjoyed staying at your beautiful home just south of Baileys Harbor. Close to everything and far enough away from the towns to truly disconnect. We’ll be back next time we are looking for another getaway.

Holiday at the Lake

A great property right on Lake Michigan with modern house, well-appointed and all the amenities. Great to sit on the back porch and also in front of the fire pit. Also like the town of Bailey's Harbor nearby - not so commercial as others.

Family Getaway

We stayed on this beautiful property last week. The house is fabulous and just as listed. We loved our stay here and found that nearly all our needs were met. The property and location are beautiful. The bedrooms were spacious and the living area accommodated everyone nicely for meals and family gatherings. The outside area provided lots of space for our children to play and for the adults to relax and enjoy the views of Lake Michigan. The owners were kind enough to provide a pack n play and highchair so that we didn't need to bring those along. We were disappointed to not find a beach as we expected from the pictures on the listing of the property. We mistakenly assumed that the beach was located on this property and was one of the main reasons for choosing it since we knew how hard it was to find a beach property like this. We had planned to spend a majority of our time on the beach only to find that there wasn't one and needed to pack up and go find one instead. I certainly understand that water conditions may change the beach area from year to year. We loved our stay and would love to stay here again!

Awesome Family Vacation in Door County

We recently stayed at this home during a vacation in Door County with our adult children and their spouses. The home is very secluded right on Lake Michigan and away from the crowds but close to Bailey’s Harbor and about 10-20 minutes away from most of the other towns in Door County. The home is very comfortable and very clean and we were able to see the water and hear the waves from almost every room in the house. We spent most of our time barbequing in the back yard, on the covered back porch or around the large fire pit in the evenings. There is a nice basketball court on the driveway, a ping pong table in the game room upstairs, and many other board games, books, and DVDs to enjoy. We burned off our over consumption of Door County restaurants like Wilson’s Ice Cream Parlor, Sonny’s Pizza, Al Johnson’s, and the Harbor Fish Market by playing friendly games of basketball, ping pong, dominos, cards, and other games we found around the home. During the day we enjoyed many of the attractions that Door County has to offer, including visiting most of the accessible lighthouses and range lights, hiking many of the trails at the numerous state parks, visiting the Door County History and Maritime museums, chartering a fishing cruise and the Sunset Sail cruise from Sister Bay, and taking the Death’s Door & Lighthouse cruise. We’ve heard about Door County for years and when this home was available we jumped at the chance for our first visit. Both the area and the home were fantastic.

Million Dollar Property is right

When everyone finally got home, we all felt that we should of, could of stayed so much longer. No one felt like going shopping or leaving the property, we were so comfortable staying put! We sure hope that we will get a chance to come back again in the future!

Beautiful Home and location

Gorgeous modern home on Lake Michigan just outside of Baileys Harbor. Huge house with room for many guests, excellent views of lake, great place for walks through the woods and next to the nature preserve. All the amenities, clean and well maintained. Head into Baileys Harbor for fun bars (don't miss the Blue Ox) and restaurants (Cornerstone has great pizza to eat in or carry out). Just a few miles over to the bay side if you want more of the tourist area but can rent bikes, kayaks, paddle boards and do ziplining on this side too! You can't go wrong with this property and will not be disappointed!

Peaceful and convenient

Beautiful and clean, with amazing views. Great location on the quieter side of Door County yet close to restaurants, shopping, and activities. When not relaxing at the house we had a blast zip lining and kayaking. I would highly recommend this house for a vacation destination.

A lovely private oasis on Lake Michigan.

We were in Door County attending our son's wedding. This property was a great location to all the Door County festivities. A large great room/open kitchen worked very well for the family to gather. The various sleeping quarters were scattered so everyone had privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit every night! The owner's were available to answer all of our questions. The perfect property for a perfect occasion!

Excellent Family Get Away

great family home. Excellent location with teriffic view of Lake Michigan. My extended family and I had a great time. Spent time around the bonfire area. Great family gathering location. I'd strongly recommend.

Peace and Quiet

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Shores! The home was extremely spacious and the view of Lake Michigan was spectacular! The patio (with full lake view) had lots of sunshine, the back yard was spacious enough for children to play, and the nightly bonfires were one of the highlights of our trip. Baileys Harbor is only 10-20 minutes from all of the fun shopping, restaurants, galleries, and outdoor activities that makes Door County the perfect vacation destination.

Door County at it's finest!

We had a great time at Sunset Shores. A great location with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. The interior is like new, very clean and well designed with a beautiful fireplace, very spacious, great dining area with plenty of windows. Door County always has so much to offer and this place is a great place to stay. We will be back!

I grew up in Door County and fell in love with the water and this area of the county. It is very peaceful with lots of natural beauty, yet close enough to get to the hustle and bustle in a matter of minutes.

I have been in construction most of my life, and my wife still teaches elementary. We like to travel and enjoy all the festivals Door County has to offer.

This is a rare opportunity to stay in such a unique property. We only rent our home for 2 weeks out of the year.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We are located on a point with fantastic water views. The point is located where the shoreline changes from sandy shores to ledge rock. If you walk to the south it is sandy beach and if you go to the north is is ledge rock. The shoreline changes constantly as does the water levels. One day the water can be like glass and the next there can be big surf. The water in front of the house is very shallow and great for kids.
