Very cute accommodations in a very rural farming community (read as lots of cows around). Not many places to eat, nowhere opens before 11:30a so breakfast is on you. No beach access as pictured but it is a wonderful "base" if your plan is to drive Western Ireland / Wild Arlantic Way Tubridy's Pub (across the street) was wonderful and welcoming!
We loved it, quiet, peaceful and a great place to chill out, very near Kilkee which is a beautiful place. The owner wonât disturb you uneless you need him. It has a lovely kitchen with everything in it, and all working very well equipped, I would highly recommend
"SUPERBE PETIT APPARTEMENT ET TRES BIEN ACCUEILLIS PAR LE PROPRIETAIRE. FACILE A TROUVER SEUL PETIT BEMOL MAIS VRAIMENT MINI MANQUE UN MICRO ONDE ET UN ASPIRATEUR ET C'EST TOUT LE RESTE IMPECCABLE PROPRE ET SYMPA... MERCI MR ET MRS KENNY J."
This location has been in my family since 1907.It is situated a short 10 min.drive from the Atlantic coast at Doonbeg. The Loop Head area is approx 30 min.drive from here , it is a region of fantastic scenery extending back to the Lighthouse at Loop Head. 45 min. drive to the north of Cooraclare you will reach the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren area. !8 km. to the south of Cooraclare you can take a day trip to Co.Kerry by taking the car ferry at Killimer to Tarbert, a short 20 min.crossing. The ferry operates from early morning in Summer to 21.30 .
