This house is amazing! 5 min walk from magic sands beach!
I loved this property! The views from the lanai are amazing and directly on the ocean! Close to downtown Kona! Close to Keauhou bay where we snorkeled with the manta rays at sunset! We enjoyed a Luau at the Royal Kona. The locals are very welcoming! We will definitely be coming back! We spent a lot of time at magic sands beach.

Such a beautiful and convenient location. Close to town, the beach and right on the water. Home is simple and clean. Thanks for the free toys too!
an ancient home at a perfect location
The photos of the home do not tell the true story about this home. Setup some miles from Kona center you can enjoy a good time on the great terrace looking into the ocean. The rooms are spacious and you find all amenities which are necessary to enjoy your vacation. The location is not too far away from Kona center. However, the equipment has aged, some renovation is necessary to update the interior. The noise coming from Ali'i drive is bothering especially, if you make use of the second sleeping room.
I am so glad to hear you enjoyed the location! The home is indeed older but we do make an effort to make sure you enjoy your time with us. The owner has stocked the home with most everything you may need while on vacation. This day and age it is rare to find such a gem among the larger less authentic homes that line Ali’i Drive. I hope you found that the home was priced accordingly.

Nice view and convenient. location.
The house was bigger than I expected from looking at the photos. Convenient location. Kitchen was kind of small but we didn't do a whole lot of cooking anyway. The grill was out of gas but we called and it was filled by that afternoon. I imagine someone probably left it running to long after they grilled to clean it. The wood floors felt a little sticky from the humidity in your bare feet which no one had a problem with except me so I just started wearing socks around the house. Good toys under the house! We did use the fans a lot. Although we live in Florida and have high humidity there we are also used to having AC which this and most houses in Hawaii don't have. I would stay here again!

Home was as advertised but is badly in need of updating and owners are not getting good housekeeping
The views are wonderful from the deck including shade in the morning and sunset in the evening. Watching dolphins most mornings just out front was a treat.
There are lots of extras left for renters, beach umbrellas, mats, toys. Extra kitchen pantry items. Books, games, kids books etc. Finish on kitchen butcher block counters and wood cupboard doors feels tacky and greasy. I had to rewash most of the dishes and wipe out the shelves as they felt crummy . Pantry shelves has stains and were not clean either.
Sorely in need of new paint, bathroom cupboard finishes updates and repairs, and window screens to fit. The den worked great as an additional bedroom for kids but there is quite a bit of road noise.
