Juliet Cottage est situé dans le coeur de la belle ville de Alnwick de marché, seulement un jet de pierre du château et des jardins. Un bel endroit pour séjourner pour les couples ou les familles à tout moment de l'année. Il est confortablement meublé et dispose d'une cuisine très bien équipée. Le joli salon dispose d'une cheminée d'origine inoubliable. Le patio privé adossé à des anciens murs Alnwick Ville. WiFi gratuit inclus.
Nous avons également Falstaff House et Peaseblossom House à Alnwick et si Juliet Cottage est réservé s'il vous plaît vérifier la disponibilité à ces chalets.

Charming and cozy

Louise provided a warm welcome to a charming and cozy cottage located just steps from the historic Hotspur Gate. Easy walking to Alnwick Castle and Gardens and downtown shops and restaurants. Well equipped, excellent wifi, and private garden.

Juliet Cottage Alnwick

The cottage was homely and welcoming. We wanted for nothing, it was extremely well equipped. Louise was just so lovely, communication was excellent. Location was a perfect base for all the lovely places we wanted to visit. I highly recommend a stay here, we will certainly be coming back.

Lovely cottage

We had a lovely time in Juliet Cottage. The cottage was very close to Alnwick Castle and the centre of town, so the location was brilliant. The cottage was very clean and had a friendly feeling about it. Viv and Louise were very helpful and let us know what was going on in Northumberland during our stay. We will be back!

Lovely! Host is very attentive and open to feedback. Bedrooms above busy street so noisy if windows are open. Beautiful property, well appointed. Would stay again.

Great house, wonderful location

We just spent a wonderful week at Juliet Cottage. It is a charming two bedroom cottage in Alnwick. Our son loved having his own room with a bunk bed, and the owner provided a number of very useful suggestions for days out. The cottage is within easy walking distance from everything in Alnwick, about ten minutes from the castle and five from the gardens. We hope to return.

Just perfect, Juliet!

An ideal place to base a trip to the Alnwick area. The cottage is perfect, very well equipped and very comfortably furnished. Located less than a minute's walk into town, it is on a road which gets some traffic in day time but almost none at night so is very peaceful. Parking just up the road was extremely easy and convenient. Would definitely return here and highly recommend this cottage to you. Very comfy bunk beds according to our 8and 6 yo girls. Lovely welcome gifts were very well received and the cottage was really well stocked with all you need. Brilliant!

Home from home

This property was like a second home. We liked the google home just like we have at home. We enjoyed the local food and Alnwick gardens but the castle was disappointing probably due to COVID 19 restrictions

Brilliant little cottage for our family trip

Great little cottage and so much attention to detail from the Louise the owner, from the bottle of bubbly, to fresh ground coffee and even cake ready for our arrival we couldn't have felt more welcome The kids loved the bunk beds and thought we should just move in permanently. Ha ha. Great location for exploring northumberland with short travel distance to beaches , castles and more. Can highly reccomend staying here.

Charming cottage in perfect location

We spent a week here and enjoyed every minute. Juliet Cottage is beautifully presented and the service from Louise and the team is exemplary. Alnwick itself is a lovely place to stay and is within easy reach of the coast and lots of local attractions. Great holiday. Thanks!

Falstaff Cottage, Alnwick

Great accommodation and centrally placed for the town centre. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. The owner Louise is extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Northumberland is a beautiful county and if we return, we would definitely book Falstaff Cottage again.

Excellent location ,comfortable accommodation

Enjoyed a lovely stay in this cottage which is centrally located in Alnwick therefore enjoyed easy walking around Alnwick including access to the gardens and castle. The cottage was comfortable , spotlessly clean and the lovely welcome pack was much appreciated on arrival a lovely touch from the owner who prior to and following our stay provided a high level of information and provided a real sense of guests wanting to have an enjoyable stay, which we certainly did. Would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

Lovely week in Alnwick

The cottage had all the facilities that we needed . It was very clean and comfortable and Ideally located in Alnwick. Louise was very helpful about the local area and places to visit. A welcome pack when we arrived was very much appreciated. We will definitely book the cottage again .

Central, well kept property

The property was well maintained and clean. The patio was smaller and more over grown than expected but they had done their best. All furnishings were comfortable and crockery / cutlery ample. Only issue was the traffic noise if you open the windows - especially at night. Cooler months this would not be an issue. Location for town was great - walked everywhere. No parking which was a slight issue - car park we were directed to was only 300yds away but not always had spaces. It worked most of the time. Owners were very helpful. Nice town - very close - property backs onto ancient city wall. 100 yds to town gate, so location was great. Lots of restaurants - although many pubs didn't serve evening meals (despite being advertised!) Castle and gardens were great But expensive. Glad we've been but probably wouldn't afford to go again. (Note NT properties cost between £5 and £12 - here cost was £25.60 per adult.) Glad we went, would stay there again.

Lovely cottage in excellent location

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this lovely cottage.well maintained throughout.very clean and will definitely be going again! Lovely welcome basket with wine,cake and chocolate.milk in fridge.2 min walk into Alnwick.Visited Bamburgh and Seahouses.Kids loved the bunk beds.The owner Louise provided excellent customer service.I have already recommended to my friends and family who have booked a visit

Lovely relaxing holiday.

We had a lovely stay in Alnwick. Really nice selection of individual shops to browse. Some lovely restaurants and cosy pubs. Spent lots of time on the coast walking which was fabulous. This is a wee gem of a cottage and a great base for exploring this part of Northumberland. The views on the coast are amazing!

Perfectly located, fabulously presented. Loved it.

We stayed at Peaseblossom Cottage for a weekend Friday - Monday. It is perfectly located in central Alnwick. A short pleasant walk away from the centre with cafes, tea rooms and restaurants. The visitor information in Alnwick was very useful, with friendly and helpful staff. A short pleasant walk to Alnwick Castle and the Tree House and also to the fabulous second hand bookshop - a real find with delicious cakes and good coffee. Thanks to the perfect location of the cottage we only used the car to trip to the coast, everything else that we could have needed was right on our doorstep. We visited other areas in Northumberland (new to us, and we LOVED and will return with our children asap!). We parked at Embleton and took a lovely stroll along the coast path to a little pub overlooking a green and the beach in Low Newton by the Sea, and then walked along the beach back, exploring rock pools and the generally stunning landscape. We also spent an enjoyable couple of hours walking along the beach and having tea and cakes in Alnmouth, also lovely. So to the cottage. A wonderful property. Light, airy, spacious and very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The owners had provided comprehensive information packs about Alnwick and Northumberland which were a godsend to us, as we were new to the area. Information about the property was readily available too, in case we had needed to use the fire or heating etc. The property has a large lounge with TV and radio and ipod docking thingy. Two very comfortable sofas and a wide range of books and games to borrow. It was fresh and homely and light. The kitchen diner is beautiful and contains every possible appliance, pot, pan, plate and utensil you could possibly need to live there, let alone stay for a weekend. Again, a homely, comfortable but spotlessly clean room. The small courtyard was a delight with a couple of seating areas and lots of attractive planting. Perfect for a glass of something on a warm evening. (we didn't have any of those so alas we didn't get to enjoy that particular pass-time) Upstairs are two very well appointed bedrooms with - hallelujah! - comfortable beds. Blinds and heavy curtains ensure a good night's sleep. The bathroom is very attractive, clean and bright. All in all the house was clean, homely and very inviting. We felt at home immediately and would happily have moved straight in! We would highly recommend this property.

Super cottage in Alnwick

We loved Juliet Cottage and the welcome pack was a lovely surprise! The cottage was beautifully equipped and had everything we needed and was such a convenient walk to a wedding at The Tree House. If anyone should ask us about small cottages in Northumberland we will definitely recommend Juliet Cottage.

Juliet Cottage

We stayed in Juliet Cottage in early June and it was delightful. As well as the location being excellent with shops, restaurants and entertainment all within easy walking distance, it was a beautifully maintained and very pretty house. Everything had been thought of from our welcome pack to useful information on what to do and where to go. The decor in the house is charming and it has a homely welcoming feel. We settled in straight away. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are very near and there is the whole of the Northumberland Coastline to explore. We will be back!

Characterful Cottage

A splendid, cosy, cottage full of character, very clean and well equipped. The welcome pack was a special touch. Location was great for all amenities, close to road, but this didn't disturb our stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Juliet Cottage is rumoured to have been built to house Italian artisans who were working at Alnwick years ago. I haven't investigated this story though at all, I was just told it by a couple of locals.
The cottage has unbelievably thick walls and backs on to the ancient town walls of Alnwick.
