Bienvenue sur Happy Acres! Cette cabine belle et bien entretenu se trouve sur une colline surplombant une belle rivière qui cascades dans un étang! Les terrains environnants sont aménagés avec des plantes indigènes et il ya beaucoup d'endroits pour vous asseoir et profiter de l'environnement. Cette propriété est entourée par une forêt de vieux arbres à feuilles caduques de croissance - il affichera la couleur de chute spectaculaire que vous puissiez profiter de votre véranda.
La chambre principale est à l'étage principal avec une salle de bains privative. A l'étage, deux chambres confortables avec un lit queen size et plein qui partagent une salle de bain complète. Couchage supplémentaire sur le lit de jour gigogne dans la mezzanine.
Les accents de bois et une partie du mobilier et des planchers ont été faites à partir d'arbres qui poussaient sur la propriété!
La propriété est adjacente à la Conservation du patrimoine Watson-Cooper. Ce projet vise à étendre de Table Rock dans SC travers Head, Dupont et Gorges parc d'état de Ceaser. Beaucoup de place pour explorer, faire du vélo et de la randonnée. Profitez de patauger dans l'étang ou simplement se détendre dans le swing à proximité. Pas besoin de quitter la propriété - abondance de la faune et un cadre magnifique pour apprécier.
Mais quand vous êtes prêt à explorer la région, vous verrez que nous sommes au centre de grandes choses à faire! Dupont State Forest avec ses magnifiques chutes d'eau, cheval, vélo et de randonnée est juste en bas de la route. Brevard est seulement environ 7 miles avec commerces, artisanat et d'excellents restaurants! Allez l'autre sens et profiter de la journée à Hendersonville. D'autres parcs dans les environs comprennent Forêt nationale de Pisgah, Gorges State Park et la tête de César - toute la randonnée voulez avec beaucoup de cascades et donne sur vous. Accéder à la Blue Ridge Parkway et prendre dans un paysage spectaculaire. Soyez sûr d'aller et de voir la place jolie chapelle pendant que vous êtes ici - à quelques miles sur la route. Bonne Acres est juste à côté de la rivière East Fork - connu pour une excellente pêche à la truite!

Property was clean and comfortable. Easily accessible to Dupont(Hooker Falls/Triple Falls)and Brevard, about a 20 minute drive to either one. We were thankful to have a place we could also bring our dog. Our boys loved exploring the water feature on the property. We wish we would have booked another night!

Great location for chasing waterfalls!

The house was plenty big enough for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. The kids loved playing in the creek below and exploring around the property! The adults loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the sound of the small waterfall. The location was excellent for visiting waterfalls and swimming holes. We came back each day and cooked dinner (the kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils!) and made a fire in the fire pit! We made many great memories for our family at this house. The Owner was a great communicator.

Fantastic stay!

Happy Acres is a wonderful property with all the amenities you need and is located in the most beautiful setting. It's so peaceful and we enjoyed both porches in the mornings and evenings. The stream with the little waterfall in the "backyard" added just the relaxation we were looking for. Everything about this stay went smooth and we would definitely stay here again, if we come back to this area.

The Cooper Family of Myrtle Beach, SC

We are 3 generations from Myrtle Beach, SC and we all live within 3 miles of the Atlantic. We watched weather reports all week about Tropical Storm Debby, and though it came ashore Thursday morning with torrential rains, we left anyway! 7 hours later, we arrived at the most beautiful, serene house in the mountains! Pure paradise for 3 days and we're already planning a longer stay--same location-- next year!

Family Getaway

The home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The property was picturesque. Listening to the waterfall from the back porch was relaxing. Attention has been paid towards the details of comfort in this home from the rocking chairs on the back porch to the fire pit with wood stashed in a dry location. This was a perfect location to feel alone in the woods and also Be close to town and great restaurants. And there are so many biking and hiking trails near by, along with waterfalls and swimming holes. Our family found it to be a lovely vacation spot! Thanks for helping us build fun memories.

Peaceful waterfall sound

The house was amazing. From the back deck you could see and hear a small waterfall and creek. The kitchen had everything you could want. The cookware and dishes were of the highest quality. It was very remote but still just a few miles to walking trails and restaurants. It was very obvious that someone took great care of the property.

Great Weekend Getaway

Everything was perfect!! Owners were AMAZING! They answered my questions in a timely manner. Property was as described by owners. Town near by to make a last minute stop for groceries and anything else you may need before reaching the property. Lovely weekend getaway. Our favorite activity was walking around downtown and sitting by the fire pit laughing and enjoying time together.

Great location

Great quiet location nestled in the woods. Provided easy access (about 20 minute drive) to DuPont, Brevard, and edge of Pisgah for some hiking and exploring! The house is very well stocked with everything you need and plenty of room for a large group, though still great for me and my dog! Boat provided extra instructions on how to get to the house and tips for exploring the area! It does have a wood fire place, so be prepared for a rustic smell, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Never found the path to the stream, but still nice to listen to from the back porch!

Happy Acres = Happy Family

Location, location, location! This could say it all but then I’d miss telling about all the additional reasons this is paradise. The back porch was our favorite spot to read, listen to the brook. The falling leaves sounded like rain but looked like snow. The air was fresh and the autumn color dazzling. Loved the quiet seclusion but enjoyed the quick drive to Brevard and other special places/things to do. Can’t wait to go back in 2024.

Loved It So Much!

My family and I had the best time this weekend. We were tucked in, surrounded by nature, and it was so peaceful. The house was great and well stocked with everything we needed. The details and directions to get to the home were very well detailed, which was super nice. We had no problem finding it. We were also given suggestions for grocery stores, restaurants and things to do. There was plenty of room, inside and out for our dogs to play. We loved it and we look forward to staying here again soon!

Beautiful but needs to be cleaned

The house is beautiful. Everything needed for cooking was in the home which was nice. Beautiful sitting on the porch and watching the kids play and the hummingbirds. Property needs cleaned up inside. The house smells of mold and smoke. We have allergies and had a very difficult time spending time in the house. Several small repairs needed throughout the house as well.

Perfect!

This rental was amazing. The property owner was so nice and accommodating! He such detailed information, including specific driving directions which certainly helped and were needed to get to the house itself. It was clean and VERY well stocked. We were surprised at the amount of things available to us, from shampoo to spices in the kitchen, there was a ton of stuff to help us out. Outside is so nice, got to walk around and explore a bit, LOVED using the fire pit for s'mores. You can hear the creek's little waterfall from the house and it's so peaceful. I would love to see the place in summer!! We are here in January. I know there is more to say, but overall this was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend staying here. :)

Happy to be living down the road from my brother and his wife! After being here for five years, I find there is still so much to see and explore in this part of the state
