C'est un quartier calme et ne cherche pas à accueillir une foule tapageuse.
Notre chalet confortable en bord de mer est situé derrière notre maison familiale où nous vivons à plein temps. Nous sommes à 1 pâté de maisons de la plage et à 5 pâtés de maisons de la rue Main. 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain avec laveuse / sécheuse, salon cuisine combo. 1 chambre avec lit queen. 2ème chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux. Planchers de bois franc. Commencez votre journée sur le grand porche ou détendez-vous avec un verre de vin à la fin de la journée. Après votre journée sur la plage, revenez et prenez une douche extérieure rafraîchissante. Faim? Barbecue à gaz fourni ou profitez de l'un des nombreux excellents restaurants de la ville. 2 badges de plage, 2 chaises de plage, 2 serviettes de plage fournies pendant votre séjour. Si d'autres sont nécessaires, contactez le propriétaire. Frais de nettoyage inclus dans le prix. Pendant l'été, les locations sont du dimanche au dimanche. Notre chalet n'est pas adapté aux locations de groupe de moins de 30 ans. Veuillez appeler Jean pour réserver vos dates.

Perfect, cozy, convenient place to stay

Great place for our family of four to have as a home base for walks to the beach and exploring the town. Very clean, homey, and organized. The amenities were thoughtful as to little things we would need but not necessarily bring. Would definitely return for future visits!

Beautiful place!

Wonderful girls get away, fantastic hosts! We had a rainy, cold weekend and couldn’t enjoy the beach but it was a great stay regardless. Highly recommend!

Cozy Beach House

Nice little beach house, 2 blocks from the ocean and boardwalk. Perfect for 2-3 people or a couple with 2 small kids. Jean, the owner, is easy to reach and very accommodating. Main street Belmar is just a minute away with fun shops and restaurants. Street parking not a problem during our stay.

Perfect Shore Weekend

Visiting to see friends and family but having this beautiful rental as a place to relax and stay so close to the beach was unbeatable with fantastic hosts making it all the better. Cannot recommend enough.

Great stay close to the beach

My rating is always based, first, on how clean the place is. The house was immaculate with beachy details and Jean is a great host, helpful and available but not intrusive. The location is a short walk to the beautiful Belmar beach and great downtown restaurants. The cottage itself was just as pictured with lots of extras available and a great spot for my husband and I. Wish our stay could have been longer.

Best host. Best house. Best location

Our stay couldn't have been better. I hesitate to give too good a review because it could cause all cottage dates to fill up. Let's keep this little gem to ourselves. Belmar has a lot of places to eat. The beach is clean and badges are reasonably priced. Although the cottage comes with beach badges. The cottage comes stocked with everything you probably forgot to bring. So don't worry. We forgot to bring bread. We no sooner told our host than she appeared with a loaf. We'll be back!!!

Family weekend

The cottage was perfect for our family’s weekend away! Jean was a fantastic host and we enjoyed the cute front porch and the side area for our little one to play. We will definitely stay again at the cottage when back in the area!

Adorable cottage with everything you’ll need

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were wonderful and the accommodations clean. The cottage is stocked with all the necessities and it’s down the street from the beach and boardwalk. I highly recommend it!

Visiting during spring break

We found a lot to do. Shopping in near by Ocean Grove boutiques, plenty of restaurants with delicious food, the beach was quiet at this time of year but beautiful, a jacket needed for 1st week of April but was 60 degrees later, Went to the movies in Point Pleasant and the aquarium. We got our nails done. Everything you need was there. Washer and dryer was a plus, clean and comfortable. I slept well, it was nice and quiet. I noticed an outdoor shower and chairs for the beach but didn’t ask if they were available. The host was very friendly and offered any services. I was just happy to be so relaxed. I will go again.

Belmar cottage

I was in town for a short weekend, and this quaint cottage fit the bill for my needs. It’s just as described and I felt safe and welcomed by Jean. I would definitely book this one again if I’m back in the area.

Belmar visit

We stayed during tropical storm Ophelia so we couldn't get to the beach as planned but even so we were very comfortable here. It was clean, neat and very near the necessities of life (read: the Bagelry that has *the best* bagels :-) ). We will definitely try to stay here the next time we come to Belmar.

Awesome comfortable cottage near the beach

The cottage was exactly as described. It is about a block from the beach, and about 1/2 mile (walkable) from Main St. The cottage was extremely clean, well supplied, and very comfortable. I liked the outdoor shower. The property owners were very friendly and helpful.

Cozy Cottage

Wonderful home away from home

What a wonderful location and accommodation. We were so pleased for the entire month we spent at the beach cottage. It had everything we needed and more. I hope to be back yearly! Can’t beat the quick walk to the beach.

A cozy cottage by the sea

My sister and I searched for a last minute getaway at the Jersey shore and found this exceptional cottage by the sea. The owners Jean and Jim were so accommodating and pleasant to work with. The cottage has so many amenities, an amazing front porch and is one block from the beach. The weather was perfect and we spent most of our time outdoors walking on the boardwalk, at the beach and trying many great restaurants. I would highly recommend this cottage and look forward to returning soon.

Charming and cozy.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at Mrs. Jean’s cottage. It was our home away from home. Location was perfect and only a block or so from the beach. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone!!
