This wonderfull holiday home was completely renovated in 2025 and is one of the most modern and comfortably furnished tent-roofed holiday homes in the holiday village on Lake Twiste. The amenities make all the difference. In the "Faulenzia" realm, everything is geared towards relaxation. The highlight is the relaxation room with a comfortable two-person infrared sauna!

The holiday home is located in Bad Arolsen on Lake Twiste. The former residence of the Princes of Waldeck, with its imposing castle, is a much-underrated holiday destination with excellent tourist infrastructure – and thus an attractive alternative to the other Waldeck lakes and holiday destinations: Edersee, Diemelsee, and Willingen/Upland.

4-room, non-smoking, comfortable holiday home for 2-5 (6) people with Wi-Fi, three bedrooms, infrared sauna, veranda, large 40 sq m terrace (dog-proof fenced) and beautifully surrounded by woods. The lake is about 150 m away.

Ground floor layout:
- Large living/dining area with TV and soundbar.
- Open kitchen with breakfast bar and top-of-the-line equipment that leaves little to be desired: including microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, pod machine, kettle, toaster, blender, and waffle/sandwich toaster.
- Flexible relaxation room with a 2-person infrared sauna, comfortable sofa, and TV. The sofa converts into a bed for 5-6 additional guests.
- Modern shower room with window, washing machine, and hairdryer. A bathroom radio is also provided!

Upper floor layout (with steep stairs):
- One bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm) and TV
- Second bedroom with two single beds, desk, TV, and sound system

One medium-sized dog is welcome for a fee: It must be well-behaved and is not allowed on beds, sofas, or armchairs. In case of non-compliance, the landlord reserves the right to charge extra cleaning fees, as well as in cases of excessive pet hair, strong odors, or other animal-related disturbances. Dogs must be house-trained and may not bark incessantly when noises originate from the immediate neighborhood.

Recreational attractions in the immediate vicinity:
The holiday village offers a lovely playground, a volleyball court, mini-golf (free of charge), and a tennis court. The lake is approximately 150 meters from the house on foot.

At Lake Twiste you'll find:

All base prices are for 2 people and include bed linen (beds made up), towels, and final cleaning.

Please note the following important information:

Please do not arrive or depart on Saturdays outside of school holidays, as we do not want to disrupt busy weekends. Instead of Saturday, please arrive on Friday or Sunday if possible. During school holidays (July, August, October), you can arrive/depart on Saturdays.

Easter: No arrivals or departures possible on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Sunday.

Pentecost: No arrivals or departures possible on Pentecost Saturday and Sunday!

Christmas holidays: No departures possible on December 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st, and New Year's Day.

In addition to all prices, a tourist tax of currently €2 per person per night applies for guests aged 16 and over (10-15 years = €1 per night).

Security Deposit & Payment Terms:

A general security deposit of €200 is required for this property.
The security deposit is due 14 days prior to arrival along with the final payment and will be refunded to you within seven to ten business days after departure.

Payment Terms:
- 20% deposit due within one week of receiving the booking confirmation.
- Remaining balance due 14 days prior to arrival.
- For bookings made less than six weeks in advance, the full amount is due immediately, within 24 hours of receiving the booking confirmation.
- Cash payments on site are not accepted!
