Surroundings: The Abruzzo region offers something for everyone. There is the beautiful Adriatic coast with both sandy beaches (Montesilvano, Pescara) and pebble beaches (Ortona, Chieti). Pescara is a young hip port city with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants.
