The Old Forester's Lodge in Willingen-Schwalefeld, completely renovated in 2024, now houses luxurious holiday apartments with an outdoor pool and sauna, offering accommodations that are truly unique in Willingen. The center of Schwalefeld, with its restaurants and village shop, is just a short walk away. Willingen's town center, with its excellent leisure activities, is approximately 4 km away, and Lake Diemelsee is a mere 10-minute drive (10 km). The "Hochsitz" is a family-friendly holiday apartment for 2-4 people with two bedrooms, a modern shower room, and Wi-Fi. The entire apartment was lovingly renovated for the 2025 season and furnished to a high standard with natural wood accents. This apartment boasts a charming ambiance with a covered panoramic balcony, shared garden, communal outdoor pool, and sauna. The apartment is situated on a hillside in Schwalefeld, offering panoramic views of the UplÀnder mountains. Located on a secluded hillside, the apartment is accessed via a single-story path leading down from the street.

- Open-plan, fully equipped kitchen: 2-burner ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, pod machine, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, egg cooker, blender, sandwich toaster, and a good selection of spices.

All basic prices are for 4 people and include bed linen (beds made), towels and final cleaning. Furthermore, you can use the heated outdoor pool free of charge during the summer months and the sauna all year round.
Our daily prices above mentioned are calculated for a stay of 4 nights!
Please note the following important information:
1. When making inquiries and bookings, please avoid arrivals and departures on Saturdays whenever possible, as we do not want to disrupt busy weekends. Instead of Saturday, please arrive on Friday or Sunday if possible.
For arrivals/departures on Saturdays, we charge a surcharge of âŹ90, which is not shown in the price calculator!
2. We cannot offer discounts for Sunday-to-Sunday bookings, as cleaning staff receive a 100% wage supplement for working on Sundays and public holidays, as stipulated by collective agreement. This means that for Sunday-to-Sunday bookings, we always charge the base price per night specified for the respective season x7, even if a discount is calculated in the price calculator.
Further exceptions for arrivals/departures:
Ski Jumping (FIS World-Cup): Arrival only possible on Thursday/Friday (no arrivals on Saturday)
Carnival: Arrival only on Thursday/Friday Possible (not Saturday, Sunday, or Carnival Monday)
Easter: Arrival only until Maundy Thursday (arrival on Good Friday only possible with a minimum booking of 9 nights)
Easter: No arrival possible on Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday
Easter: No departure possible on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, or Easter Sunday
Pentecost: Arrival Thursday/Friday (arrival on Pentecost Saturday only possible with a minimum booking of 8 nights)

Security Deposit:
A general security deposit of ⏠200 is required for this property.
The security deposit is payable along with the final payment no later than 14 days before arrival and will be refunded to you within seven to ten business days after departure.
Terms of payment:
- 20% deposit within one week of receiving the booking confirmation.
- Remaining payment up to 14 days before arrival
- For short-term bookings <21 days in advance, everything must be transferred immediately within 24 hours of receiving the booking confirmation.
