We must have been the first guests in a while as it was off-season. Rooms were musty. HVAC systems hadnât been run in a while. The filters and heating coils were dirty which set off smoke detectors while fuzz burnt off. Windows worked to vent place. Silverware drawers had mouse droppings. Had to clean everything before we used it. For the price I paid per night it was disappointing.
We had a big family group and the 2x 3BR=6BR with 4 bath was great. We had to get the manager to join the 2 units. Interesting that the units joined 1 bedroom and the kitchen from the other unit. Manager notes one of the units is being upgraded soon-removing carpet and installing floating floor. We moved the table from the second unit into the main unit so all could eat and play together. Benches for the table avoided the problems with chairs. The 2 futon couches in each unit which could become beds were ok. We did not use them as futons, but couches. Probably b/o the time of year, the unit had dust in the air. Wish there had been a DVD player. Had issues figuring out the lighting switches in one unit. Overall we had a great time not far from Silver Dollar City and with traffic mostly going the other way when we went into town for shopping and Dixie Stampede.
We are conveniently located on the beautiful Peninsula of Indian Point Surrounded by Table Rock Lake and only 2 1/2 TRAFFIC FREE MILES from Silver Dollar City. We are the closest resort to Indian Point Marina only a short 500 yard stroll.
