AN ELEVATOR, ON THE JERSEY SHORE
Luggage, groceries, coolers, grandparents — everything reaches the upper floors at the touch of a button. Almost nothing on this stretch of sand has one, and it's the first thing our guests mention.

NO STAIRS TO GET IN
Park, come in through the garage at ground level, and take the elevator up. Nobody carries luggage, groceries or a cooler up the front steps. Guests traveling with older parents, or anyone who'd rather skip stairs, tell us it's what made the trip work.

The elevator reaches the main floor and all three bedrooms. The loft is one more flight up.

THE POWER STAYS ON
A Generac whole-house generator picks up automatically if the grid goes down. A summer storm won't end your week.

ON THE SAND, NOT NEAR IT
A semi-private walkway runs from the deck straight to the beach. No crossing Route 35, no circling for parking, no hauling chairs and coolers six blocks in the heat.

Everything here is brand new — the house was built in 2025 and this is its first full season.

THE HOUSE, FLOOR BY FLOOR

GROUND LEVEL
Garage and driveway parking for three to four cars depending on size, right in front of the unit. The elevator starts on this floor.

MAIN FLOOR — kitchen, living, dining, deck
One open floor that runs out onto the ocean-facing deck. Gas fireplace for cool evenings. Powder room on this level, so nobody goes upstairs to wash their hands.

BEDROOM FLOOR
• Primary suite — king bed, private bath, its own ocean-facing deck
• Bedroom 2 — queen bed
• Bedroom 3 — bunk, twin XL over a queen
• Full bath with a tub — the only bathtub in the house, which matters if you're traveling with small children; laundry on this floor

THE LOFT — one more flight up
Queen sleeper sofa, its own private bath, and a balcony with the widest ocean view in the house. On summer nights you can watch fireworks going up over three or four towns at once from up here. Reached by stairs, not the elevator.

THE KITCHEN

Fully equipped and meant to be cooked in. Stainless throughout: gas range with a convection oven, dishwasher, microwave, full-size fridge with ice and water in the door, and a wine fridge. Kitchen island for people to gather around while someone else does the work.

Coffee however you take it — automatic drip, pod machine, or a small Nespresso. Blender, toaster, countertop toaster oven, kettle, and yes, a lobster pot. Dishes, glassware, cookware and utensils for a full house.

FOUR DECKS, EAST AND WEST

Four open decks facing both ways — for the sun worshippers, and for anyone trying to hide from it.

The big one is the ocean-facing Trex deck off the main floor, fully fenced and properly furnished: dining table and chairs, a couch, lounge chairs and chaises. The natural gas grill is plumbed straight in, so there's no propane tank to run dry halfway through dinner. The outdoor shower is out here too — where everyone ends up before they come inside — along with beach chairs and a few beach towels.

The primary suite has its own deck overlooking the ocean. The third-floor loft covered balcony has the widest ocean view in the house. And off the kitchen there's a covered deck facing west — shade when you want it, covered for when it rains, a loveseat, and our own favorite spot with the first cup of coffee. Later on, it's where the bay hands you the sunset.

Keep an eye out for whales and dolphins; guests spot them from the deck and the shoreline more often than you'd expect.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Ortley Beach is the quiet stretch. You get the ocean without the noise, and the boardwalk is there when you want it.

• Jerry's Farm Market — 7 minute walk
• Captain Hooks — 15 minute walk
• Seaside Heights boardwalk and Casino Pier — 16 minute walk, 3 by car
• Jimbo's, EJ's Tavern, Three Brothers Pizza — a few minutes by car

Tennis, pickleball and basketball courts are close by. Kayak and jet ski rentals are on the bay. And Island Beach State Park — ten miles of undeveloped barrier island, one of the last of its kind in New Jersey — is a short drive or a good bike ride south.

Central air and heat make this a year-round house. Fall and winter weeks on the ocean are quieter and, honestly, better.

No pets, no events, no smoking. All fees are included in the price you see — no surprise cleaning charge at checkout. After booking I'll email a short rental agreement along with your check-in details.
