Let the sweet sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep each night, all from the comfort of your stay. Located on a large corner lot and close to all of Kennebunk's attractions, this spacious beach home is the perfect family-friendly escape! Play at your stay when you dip into the river with the provided kayaks. Or, head just a block away to Gooch's Beach where you can boogie board, surf, or simply read on the sand. Also nearby, enjoy exploring the Kennebunkport Center where many excellent restaurants and shops await.

Back from the beach, don't forget to utilize the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand before heading inside.

Inside, find yourself relaxing in the light-filled living room where the seating is plush, the TV is large, and the heat of the gas fireplace completes the overall ambiance. The full kitchen is any chef's dream with its stainless steel appliances, gleaming countertops, and pristine cabinetry. Dine together at the breakfast bar, the formal dining table, or alfresco on the sun-drenched porch.

Also in this space, you will appreciate being able to utilize a private washer/dryer, keeping chores simple. And the second TV room is perfect for the kid's weekend morning cartoons and nighttime movie marathons.

Everyone will love the game room/garage where a Ping-Pong table is ready to host hours of playful camaraderie. And each of the four bedrooms is bright and simply decorated with sweet nautical touches. Indulge in you-time when you step into the luxurious walk-in shower. Additional perks include; a surfboard, a children's surfboard, boogie boards, a skimboard, kayaks, and bikes.

End your evenings hosting a barbecue, playing a game of spike ball, corn hole, or Bocce, biking to the beach to watch the sun meet the ocean, and then watching the stars come out while roasting s'mores over the firepit.

Great house, but a few small improvements would go a long way

House itself was great. Furniture and beds were comfy. Location was close to Kennebunkport and the beaches. If the house removed the email requirement each time you wanted to use WiFi, replaced the plastic wine and water glasses with actual glass, and stocked the house with more than single ply toilet paper, it would be rated excellent in my opinion.

Perfection

This house was perfect for our three-generation family ranging from age 10 to 79. Every feature of the rental was enjoyed- naps and putting practice on the porch, throwing a football in the yard, playing ping pong and listening to music in the garage, having an outdoor fire, riding bikes along the coast, alone time in the sitting room, family movie time in the living room, etc. Usually the only reason we’re excited to go home is to have our comfortable beds and pillows, but the beds and pillows were so comfortable we really had no reason to leave! And we appreciated how quick and polite Vacasa was in responding to our inquiries. All-around an amazing rental!

Great Location

House was perfect size for our family of 11 and was very close to beach and town. We love the area and come back every summer. This is our first experience where house was not ready when we arrived and do not want that to be a reflection of the property. The poor communication from Vacasa and time spent on my vacation to find a resolution for the major inconvenience my family faced was very disappointing. Things go wrong and that is understandable, but it is how you respond that resonates. We will be back to Kennebunk next summer and would consider this home again as a great spot to gather for our family summer vacation.
