Above the picturesque village of San Siro-Rezzonico with its beautiful castle, good restaurants, lovely lakeside promenade and romantic little beaches, just a few kilometres from Menaggio and the most sought-after sights of Lake Como, is the Rustico holiday home Dolce Vita in the mountain village of San Martino, well-known to Lake Como connoisseurs. You reach your idyllic holiday resort via a serpentine mountain road.
you reach your idyllic holiday resort. From Rezzonico to San Martino, which lies 380 m above the lake, it is exactly 5.9 km. Your holiday home is integrated into the village and surrounded by typical country houses, partly holiday homes and meadows.
There are five idyllic outdoor areas to choose from: an outdoor seating area near the holiday home at a distance of about 15 m, the natural stone terrace with pergola at the entrance to the house, another natural stone terrace in the granny annexe that extends across the entire width of the house and two balconies with a fantastic lake view.
At the lake there are several small and mostly shallowly sloping beach sections along the lake promenade.
An approx. 1.5 km long footpath leads from San Martino to the lake.
The high-quality and tastefully restored village holiday home offers space on three floors:
A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet and individualists in search of that very special holiday address.
The main entrance to the living area with modern BULTHAUP kitchen is via the south-facing, natural stone terrace.
On the lake side is a balcony with sun loungers.

A wooden staircase leads to the attic with triple bedroom with bathroom with designer shower, with fireplace and wide balcony with inspiring lake and mountain views.
A gallery ladder leads to the open small sleeping gallery in the roof ridge with a cosy sleeping mattress (1.40 x 2.00).
On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with bathroom, reached via the external staircase with external entrance, with furnished natural stone terrace.
High-quality materials, such as sandblasted larch wood, were used in the interior.
The main entrance to the living area with modern BULTHAUP kitchen is via the south-facing, natural stone terrace.
On the lake side is a balcony with sun loungers.
Both bathrooms with designer shower.

Also ideal for two couples travelling together due to the two separate sleeping areas, each with its own bathroom.
The Rustico is used again and again by the owners themselves and is constantly lovingly completed. The natural stone house is also an inviting domicile in winter due to its sunny location, the good insulation, the modern central heating by means of a heat pump and the romantic window fireplace in the living area.
Due to the natural stone paths to the house, we recommend sturdy shoes. Please supervise children more closely because of the wall projections and stairs inside and outside.
There is a public car park at the entrance to the village, approx. 80 m from your holiday home. You can reach your holiday home via the village square and then a natural stone alley with steps.
You can also use the private car park of a neighbouring house. Details will be sent to you by your landlord before your arrival.
It is not possible to charge electric cars at the property. Nearest public e-car charging station approx. 8 km away.
