The stay was great. One night we had a bit of noise from upstairs neighbors, but this is definitely NOT the norm, and Christian was very communicative the whole time! The place was very clean, super spacious, and legitimately luxurious. We were able to take a deep breath and relax in Christian's loft amidst our hectic Christmas Market travels! A great place to stay for sure!

Perfect place, look no further!

Just an incredible place for your stay in Munich. Updated interior and so clean. The owner Cristian and his friend Keiwan communicate so well and are very friendly. We couldn't be happier with our stay and look forward to coming back.

Retreat from the city bustle

Home is as shown and seems to be unique in its setting. Inside is quiet, out the front door and there is a pub and restaurants all within easy walking. No issue staying here again.

Fantastic choice for Munich stay!

The property was beautiful, clean, and very conveniently situated between two subway stops with a grocery store across the street. The owners are very friendly and easy to contact. The sauna was so nice on the winter days! I highly recommend this property.

Oasis in München

We had a wonderful stay at this oasis in the middle of München (Munich). The apartment was quiet with a beautiful interior and outside living area. The host (Christian) met us at check-in to give us an overview. And we were able to walk to restaurants, backeries, and the U-Bahn station. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful property

The apartment was extremely clean and beautifully appointed. Great restaurants and grocery stores nearby. 10 minute walk to the underground and in city center within 10 minutes. If you have a car, use the nearby parking garage otherwise you will be constantly be feeding the meter. Great accommodation and great host.

Perfect!

The flat was just as described and even better than the photos! It was cozy, relaxing, bright, and in a great neighborhood. Christian and Annika were the best hosts. They were super responsive and accommodating and treated us like friends. I would definitely book their flat next time I’m in town and will recommend them to anyone staying in Munich!

Beautiful Loft and Location

Annika was very attentive the entire time of our stay. This loft was a beautiful oasis within the big city of Munich. It was very comfortable and quiet even though we were in the heart of the city. We did not hear a thing. The loft is decorated as though it came out of Cosmo magazine. It was well stocked. There is even a small neighborhood bar right outside that serves many of their drinks by electric train. We had so much fun there with many of the locals. We definitely would stay here again.

Christmas market visit

Check in could not have been any easier! Our hosts we're always quick to respond. The location is amazingly close to all transportation. Our trip was mainly to enjoy the christmas markets. There was a very quaint market within about a 5-7 minute walk from the loft. There's a really wonderful little corner bar, about four steps from the front door! They do not list a microwave as an amenity because there is no microwave! The pictures are exactly what the loft looks like!

Excellent apartment in Schwabing

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Communication with Christian was always prompt. Christian met us in person to show us into the apartment, gave us a thorough tour of the place, and offered suggestions for local restaurants, markets, and public transportation. The apartment was clean and quiet and exactly as described in the description. The location was perfect for our time in Munich, just a short walk from the subway and the English Garden. The village of Schwabing is a just a few minutes walk away, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. It was nice to be just slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the Old Town area, but just a few minutes away by subway. We would stay here again if visiting the area.

Wonderful Property!

This flat is so nice that we would love to go back to Munich just to spend time living there! We used Munich as our base and spent every day basically traveling out of Munich to attend tours. The flat's location is great - right between 2 U-Bahn/S-Bahn stations, and not far from the main train station. We were able to walk to restaurants in the evening. We felt safe and we had many dining options. Marienplatz is just a quick U-Bahn ride away! Christian was super responsive from the time we booked the flat all the way through to our departure. He also recommended a great Thai place and we ate there once and carried out again on another evening. When you travel abroad it is so nice to find a place that feels like home and Christian's flat is exactly that place! Thank you, Christian, for sharing your home with us. We appreciated everything from the cleanliness to all the fantastic amenities you have available!

Great place to stay!

This place met our needs in all ways. The hosts were very welcoming and open to communication throughout our stay. The location was perfect...just 6 minutes to the Münchner Freiheit train station. The apartment was clean and well-appointed. Some local places we enjoyed were Pils Doktor (literally right outside the front door) and Mun Mun, a yummy Thai place in Münchner Freiheit.

Don't hesitate, book now

I honestly think you'll be hard pressed to find a better property and more accommodating host in all of Munich. Booked for three nights in late November 2022, everything was totally smooth in terms of booking and setting up communication with Christian. He owns the unit, did the renovations on his own, and his pride shows through. Thankfully he doesn't use a management company. Christian goes out of his way to ensure trouble-free booking and check in. He met us to give us the keys and walk us through the apartment. After that he was invisible yet easily reachable which is exactly the way a host should be. The unit itself is on the busy Leopoldstrasse, with the entrance squeezed between a nail salon and a small pub. You may have doubts at first glance but once you're inside prepare to be impressed. Huge,.open living room + kitchen area with multiple French doors opening to an enclosed, sizeable terrace. In warmer months, this would be amazing. It was rather cold and rainy during our stay, yet the large French doors let in plenty of light. A nice bedroom is off the living room, along with a half bathroom. The second bedroom is downstairs along with the full bathroom with glass shower enclosure, waterfall shower, separate tub, and heated sauna. Christian keeps the place in excellent condition: clean and in good repair. Sonos sound system provided nice streaming music when relaxing. The wifi was adequate. It dropped our connections a few times across multiple devices (laptop, iPhone, Android), but a restart of the access point resolved. Overall bandwidth was sufficient. The Schwabing neighborhood is a great location. Even though Leopoldstrasse is a bit busy, it makes it very easy to get anywhere. A few blocks walk south you get to a main subway station, Munchen Freiheit. A just beyond that are many shops and restaurants. A long, 30 minute walk gets you to the center of Munich, Altstadt. But taking the U-bahn gets you there very quickly within three stops. All in all, I can't recommend Christian's place highly enough. If you're on the fence with some other listing, take it from me, book this one, you won't be disappointed in the slightest.
