Floatopia is a spacious float house thoughtfully designed to accommodate groups of up to 18 guests, making it an ideal destination for family vacations or escapes with friends. The Space:

Family-Friendly Comfort and Relaxation

The deck offers plenty of seating with a spacious table and seating for eight along with several Adirondack chairs. Guests will also find an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a swim, along with a gas grill fully equipped with all the utensils needed to prepare delicious grilled meals. There is an extra propane tank as well if needed. This setup makes outdoor dining and socializing easy and enjoyable, allowing everyone to savor the lakeside atmosphere together.



Inside the float house, we offer three comfortable bedrooms and a spacious loft, two full bathrooms, perfect for accommodating larger groups.



The loft provides a special nook just for kids, featuring soft EVA foam puzzle mat flooring, creating a cushioned area for kids to safely crawl and play. In addition, the loft is equipped with a 45” Samsung smart TV, perfect for kids to watch cartoons or unwind with their favorite shows. Families are also encouraged to bring their gaming systems, allowing children to play games together after a fun day on the lake. With three queen beds and two twin beds, the loft offers flexible sleeping arrangements for both adults and children, ensuring everyone has a comfortable and unique space to enjoy.



The primary bedroom offers a comfortable king bed on a platform with space on both sides of the platform with cushioned flooring and rugs to ensure comfort for guests. Each bedside table is equipped with side lamps that feature ample outlets and USB ports, making it easy for guests to charge their devices and keep essentials close at hand. The primary bedroom also features a 55” Samsung smart TV that swings out, allowing guests to enjoy comfortable viewing right from the bed. This thoughtful addition ensures entertainment is always within easy reach, whether you're winding down after a day on the lake or starting your morning with your favorite shows.



The primary bathroom has dual sinks with storage underneath, providing ample space for toiletries and essentials. A large walk-in shower with a glass enclosure offers a spa-like experience for guests. Additionally, a retractable clothesline makes it easy to dry clothes and towels while enjoying time out on the lake. Also in the primary bedroom, guests will appreciate the convenience of a spacious closet, a dresser for storage, and a sliding glass door that provides direct access to the deck, allowing for easy transitions between indoor comfort and outdoor relaxation.



On the lower level, there are two bedrooms, each furnished with two queen beds. One bedroom features a lowered ceiling and is equipped with the same flooring as the loft, complemented by a rug offering a cushioned floor for comfort. It also includes a small dresser for storage. The second bedroom offers a partially lowered ceiling, with one queen bed tucked beneath and another positioned on a platform. Both bedrooms are individually outfitted with their own temperature control units.



In the heart of the float house, the common area features an electric ‘wood burning’ stove that adds cozy ambiance and an additional heat source during the cooler months, a comfortable sofa with a chaise for lounging, and a bar table with three bar stools perfect for gathering.



For entertainment, guests can easily connect to the Starlink Wi-Fi and enjoy movie nights on the 65” Samsung smart TV located in the living room. The TV comes equipped with all major streaming services, making it simple to relax and watch your favorite films or shows together after a day of lakeside fun.



There’s also a kitchen table with two large benches, making group meals easy and enjoyable. An appliance cart stocked with a Keurig Duo coffee maker, Vitamix mixer, and Insta-pot stores appliances for all your beverage and cooking needs. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a Ninja Flip Airfryer and Toaster, an ample supply of dinnerware, pots, pans, mixing bowls, and various other essentials to ensure your stay is both convenient and delightful.



Floatopia is a fantastic float house for families, offering thoughtful amenities such as a pack and play, a baby monitor, and children's dinnerware and utensils for your convenience.



Safety is a top priority; we provide a wide selection of life jackets, ranging from toddler sizes up to 3XL, as well as 20 emergency orange life jackets stored in one of the deck storage boxes. All screen sliding doors are equipped with screen door protectors, and both the outdoor steps and loft steps feature anti-slip tape to ensure secure footing for guests of all ages.

The Neighborhood:

This is a private on water Floating House community located at Lake Cumberland Marina North off Alligator 1 Boat Ramp in Russell Springs KY. This is the first of its kind and one of the only on water stays on Lake Cumberland with the most unique lake stay opportunity.



Getting Around:

You can go out on the lake to get food or drinks at the few local restaurants or it's about a 15-20 minute drive to plenty of other stores/restaurants.

For those planning to bring their own boat, Floatopia offers convenient parking located right at the end of the deck. This easy access means boating adventures are only steps away from your accommodation, enhancing the excitement and convenience of your stay. Guests also have the option to rent boats or jet skis from the nearby marina.



If fishing is your passion, Floatopia makes it simple to cast a line directly from the deck. Guests can enjoy peaceful mornings or relaxing afternoons angling for local catches, all while surrounded by breathtaking lake views and the comfort of their retreat.



Interaction with Guests:

We have some on site staff in the event you need anything. Security is around at night and can assist with golf cart rides if needed.
