The Space:

This upgraded, two-story Ocean View Beach Club townhome offers an exceptional home away from home for your next beach adventure! Showcasing hardwood and tile floors, this beach getaway's first floor features an open living room, dining area, well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and double oven, laundry room, and access to the patio. The second floor is home to the loft and includes the main suite with a spa-type bathroom. Two guest bedrooms on the second floor share a balcony too! Central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, four TVs, a DVD player, a gas grill, and complimentary WiFi round out the home essentials. On-site, you'll have access to the resort-style outdoor pool with a sundeck and separate kids pool, a clubhouse with a multi-purpose room, billiards, fitness center, spa, and steam room, and a multi-sport court for pickleball, basketball, and bocce ball, and community trails. Delaware Accommodations Intermediary License #2024712698 Things to Know The fee for renter wristbands is $38 per person per week. Renter wristbands must be purchased and worn by all renters, age six and above, while using our amenities, including the outdoor pools, clubhouse/fitness center, and sports courts. This policy applies from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Renters gain access to the Clubhouse and outdoor pools using homeowner access cards. The outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The indoor pool is not accessible. Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

great place for family getaway

This unit is a great place for families to have bonding time and also allows space for quiet time alone if desired. The front porch is also a great attribute as we enjoyed sitting out there quietly just relaxing and enjoying the morning/evening. We also utilized the garage for our bikes. My family will most likely book this getaway again, if the property is still available for our next trip!!

Great week with friends and family!

The home was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable trip with friends and family. The layout was perfect for our group – plenty of room for everyone to spread out, yet still feel connected. We especially loved going to the pool after a day at the beach. The location was ideal – tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, yet just a short drive to the beach, boardwalk, and great local restaurants. The fireworks in downtown Bethany were a special treat and made the our trip festive and fun! We’re already talking about coming back next year!

Beautiful spacious home

Beautiful spacious, large home and very safe, clean community. The pool and the pool tables were great for the teenagers. Great biking, close by and not too far from the beach. About a 10 minute drive to the beach.

Family getaway

The house was roomy, enough for 6 adults. They provided more than enough towels which was great. Beach chairs, boogy bords and beach wagon. The house is well furnished and stocked with all you need. We enjoyed the amenities of the club house. The house is centrally located if you want to spend a day at Bethany, Ocean City or Rehoboth. We spend an entire week Saturday to Saturday. The community was quiet and pleasant. Various times we bought lemonade from children stands. We had a great time.

Nice vacation home

Beautiful home with very large kitchen and family area. Close to beach. Still building and paving in development so some construction noise. Advertised as having shuttle to beach if purchase weekly clubhouse pass. Shuttle was not running. When inquired was told was a budget issue and not due to covid. Not having a shuttle was a disappointment. Had to drive to beach and deal with difficulty of finding a parking space everyday. Maybe will be resolved in the future. Idk

House is ok. Yes its new. thats good. I would suggest bring your own sheets. The linen service isn't reliable or that comfortable and they charge you 250 a week. No outside furniture really to eat out or sit out so we brought our own on second trip down. Also no garage opener so you have to get out every time you park. A/C only works for 3 of the bedrooms. Cleaning crew did not clean ahead of our stay either, so we did toilets and cleaned up dead bugs etc. Trash cans were full when we arrived as well. Had to dump ourselves to use them. We also were told cleaning people coming on Wednesdays. Only came one Friday out of three weeks. Expensive for what it was...

Your feedback is very important to us and we sincerely apologize that your property was not cleaned in accordance with our high standards. We strive for better and clearly fell short in this case. We have used your review of our performance during your July visit to improve our cleaning and inspection procedures. We will be forwarding your feedback on the lack of patio furniture to the homeowner. Regarding the air conditioning issues, we wish you would have brought this to our attention while you were here so we could have checked it. We have had no other complaints on the AC before or after your stay. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience on your next visit to Coastal Delaware.

Disappointed

Our first impression of the house was the 3 bags of dog poop that laid in the front yard as we walked up to the door...the home itself was beautiful-however, we received absolutely no information on the neighborhood such as hours of fitness club and pool or where the shuttle was and times it was available. We received no parking passes for the beach and no information on where or how to park for the beach. The TV's upstairs did not work and it was very warm upstairs due to not having a dual air conditioning system. The kitchen utensils were minimum-the knives were terrible-only steak knives, no large cutting knives or even a paring knife. We have never felt so un-welcome to a rental property as we did this year. Incredibly disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to review your July vacation stay. Your feedback is very important to us and we do apologize for your experience. It is unacceptable that a neighbor would leave their dog waste in someone else's yard. We also apologize that the kitchen was lacking some important items. I would just stress that in the future, please contact us immediately. We have maintenance staff on duty every day to rectify situations like this. We would have removed the dog waste, checked on the air conditioning and purchased the missing items and delivered to you. We do sincerely apologize for the information that was lacking regarding the community amenities and we are working to rectify that. We hope you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience on your next Coastal Delaware visit.

21 Bennett Point at Beach Club

The home was absolutely gorgeous. It had plenty of room for the seven of us. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The one big disappointment was discovering, (after we booked and paid the deposit), that we had to pay an additional $35 per person to use the pool and club house amenities. When we went over to the clubhouse to inquire how it worked, they advised us that we needed a key card that was supposed to be left by the owner, it was not. We then contacted Vacasa to see if they would contact the owner to inquire about the key card. They said they would, and when they got back to us the next day, they advised us that the owner stated that he would drop the card off at the house. In the mean time, the owner advised them that we could gain access to the clubhouse from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. by knocking on the door and someone would let us in. The owner never dropped off the key card. I had a serious problem with that since the pool was open until 9:00 p.m. and we would have no access from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. when more than likely that would be the time we would use it, as we went to the beach almost every day. It became obvious to us that the owners in this community do not want renters to be in the pool area. That's why they have an exorbitant price to pay per person for access and the unwillingness to leave a key card for after hours usage. Had I known this prior to booking I would definitely have not booked this home. One of the reasons we chose it was because of the pool. I would strongly suggest that the description for the home be corrected to include the information about the policy pertaining to renters paying for pool access so no one else is misled.
