Just steps from the farmhouse, the detached Recreation Barn opens up an entirely new world of play. Take a dip in the indoor heated pool, no matter the season. Head to the sports ball gym for a friendly (or competitive) game of basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, or pickleball. And when it’s time to eat? Gather in Yorkview Commons, complete with a catering kitchen and spacious dining area- perfect for family-style meals, celebrations, or catered events. Outside, the large firepit and game area invites kids to burn off energy while the adults linger nearby, coffee or conversation in hand.

Best weekend EVER

The best weekend ever!! We used this property for a small wedding ceremony and reception and it was PERFECTION! Having everyone with us all weekend made it that much more special. Rose really thought of every single detail! By far the best vacation home any of the guest have ever stayed in!

The house was beautiful and suited our group’s needs perfectly. It was great to have all sleeping arrangements in one house and the recreation activities in the other facility. All the finishing touches were top notch. Lots of sturdy outside furniture for the entire group. Rose was very welcoming from the beginning, she’s great to work with :)

This is an amazing place to stay. Everyone in our group really enjoyed this home and rec barn. There’s a lot to do here. The rec barn is a great place to hang out between the pool, gym and the kitchen area with lots of seating. We actually cooked over there more than the main house. The entire property is really nice. We will definitely stay here again.

It was very clean and well thought out set up. We had a big family gathering and there were plenty of activities for all age groups and everyone loved staying here. Everything about the listing was very easy to follow and host took great care of us.

We simply cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! We used it for a retreat with 34 women, and it was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end.The quality of the home was outstanding, and the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together. The refrigerator was incredibly well stocked, and having plenty of utensils, plates, cups, and everything we could possibly need made hosting a large group so easy. The coffee bar was an especially wonderful touch and quickly became a favorite gathering spot!The property itself was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped. It truly felt like every detail had been considered to make our stay enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this property without hesitation.And we cannot say enough about Rose, the property owner. She was amazing—responsive, helpful, and always available to answer our questions. Her hospitality made an already wonderful experience even better.If we could scream it from the mountaintops, we would: this property was simply wonderful! We are so grateful for the memories we made here and cannot wait to come back.

The BEST Family Vacation!

Our stay at Yorkview was absolutely perfect. If you've stayed with Rose before, you know that is to be expected :) My family loved touring all of the uniquely themed bedrooms before making their choices. The indoor pool was a hit, as was the gymnasium. We loved that the gymnasium provided all of the equipment for pickleball, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and more (and it was hilarious watching the adults play a serious game of dodgeball). Of course, all the teens loved the downstairs game room. Movie night in the theater room was also a hit. There was so much to do that we actually forgot to use the sauna, if you can believe it! My family always comments that no matter what you need, Rose has already thought of it. Forgot your toothbrush? - There were some in the closet. Spill something on your new dress (yes, that was me) - There were Tide to Go wipes by the washer. Forgot spices? - Yep, the spice cabinet is fully stocked. Reminiscing about using the big parachute during elementary class? - Yep, there's a parachute in the gymnasium LOL. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
