Whether you’re visiting for a family trip, business, a sporting event, a weekend getaway, or simply need a comfortable place to call home while you’re in the area, Rubber City Retreat provides the space and amenities for an enjoyable stay.

THE SPACE

Rubber City Retreat is a comfortable 3-bedroom home that accommodates up to 8 guests.

The sleeping arrangements include two bedrooms with queen beds and a third bedroom with two twin beds, along with additional sleeping accommodations for larger groups.

Throughout the home, you’ll find comfortable furnishings and thoughtfully selected touches intended to help you settle in and feel at home. Guests can enjoy spacious living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and a fully fenced backyard.

The fenced backyard provides additional space to relax and enjoy time together and is especially convenient for families traveling with children or approved pets.

Whether you’re starting the morning with coffee, preparing a meal together, relaxing after a long day, or simply enjoying some downtime with the people you’re traveling with, our goal is to give you a comfortable place to do it.

LOCATION

Rubber City Retreat is conveniently located in Akron with access to the greater Akron/Canton area and within reach of Cleveland and Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

The location makes the home a convenient base for guests visiting family and friends, attending sporting events or other local activities, traveling for work, exploring Northeast Ohio, or simply enjoying a getaway.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have private access to the main living areas of the home, including all guest bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living areas, laundry area, and fenced backyard.

The garage and basement are private areas and are not included in the rental or available for guest access.

We want to make this distinction clear so that guests know exactly which areas are included with their reservation before booking.

Free on-site parking is available.

The home offers self check-in, and detailed check-in and access instructions will be provided prior to arrival to help make your arrival as smooth and convenient as possible.

ENJOYING THE HOME

Rubber City Retreat is meant to be enjoyed. We absolutely want our guests to spend quality time together, laugh, share meals, celebrate life’s moments, and make memories with family and friends.

Family gatherings and small get-togethers among registered guests are welcome.

What we do not permit are large parties, unauthorized events, excessive noise, disruptive activity, or unregistered overnight guests. Our goal is not to prevent guests from enjoying themselves; it is simply to protect the home and maintain a respectful environment for our neighbors and community.

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. During these hours, we ask guests to keep outdoor and indoor noise at a reasonable level out of consideration for the surrounding neighborhood.

PETS

We understand that pets are part of the family, too. Pets up to 50 lbs are welcome.

A $125 pet fee per stay applies and will be requested after booking if it is not automatically included with the reservation.

Please include your pet when making your reservation whenever the booking platform provides that option so we can make sure everything is properly documented before your arrival.
