The Space:

Tucked beneath century-old live oaks and swaying palmettos, and overlooking the fairways of Edisto’s Plantation Golf Course, this cozy cottage was meant for unhurried days and easy evenings. Whether you’re gathering with family, slipping away with friends, or simply seeking a quieter rhythm by the sea, Firefly Cottage offers a setting where memories seem to make themselves.

LOCATION

Set in a peaceful corner of Edisto Beach, the cottage is just minutes from the shoreline, local shops, and favorite island restaurants, yet feels a world away. Charleston is an easy hour’s drive when you’re in the mood to explore.

For those who’d like a little extra activity, Guests will also have the option to access Wyndham's on-site resort amenities including three pools, a playground, tennis courts, and a fitness center (for an additional fee).

ACCOMMODATIONS

Firefly Cottage comfortably welcomes up to seven guests with three thoughtfully arranged bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Each bedroom includes a TV and convenient USB charging at the bedside.

- Bedroom 1: King bed with private en suite, soaking tub, and separate shower

- Bedroom 2: Queen bed with access to a breezy deck and adjoining full bath

- Bedroom 3: Full and twin beds tucked behind a custom barn-style door upstairs

LIVING SPACES

Inside, the cottage feels open and light-filled, with vaulted ceilings and spaces designed for gathering. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from pancake breakfasts to seafood dinners, with bar seating and a dining table for shared meals.

Evenings are best spent in the cozy step-down living room with a movie playing, a board game spread out, or a good book in hand.

OUTDOOR LIVING

Life here tends to drift outdoors. Two screened porches extend the living space, including one with a large dining table and electric fireplace for lingering dinners. The back lanai looks out over the 5th green, framed by moss-draped oaks, a place for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or simply watching the light change.

A walk through the neighborhood often brings sightings of deer, herons, egrets, and turtles, small reminders of the quiet beauty of the island.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES

Central air, a full laundry room, and provided linens and bath essentials ensure a comfortable stay. (Beach towels are not provided.)

WIFI

High-speed internet makes it easy to stay connected if needed, though we hope you’ll find plenty of reasons to unplug. Smart TVs allow access to your favorite streaming services as well as local and sports channels.

To help preserve the peaceful rhythm of the island and the charm of the neighborhood, we kindly ask all guests to follow a simple Good Neighbor Policy.

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and we ask that the cottage and surrounding area be treated with care and respect.

Firefly Cottage is a smoke-free home, and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

For those interested in additional recreation, Wyndham Ocean Ridge amenities may be available for purchase at the Wyndham Café. Availability is limited and not guaranteed, but may include access to pools, tennis courts, a fitness room, mini golf, a playground, and a beach cabana.

This vacation rental is located in Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. No boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RVs, or golf carts are allowed inside the resort.
