The new apartment-domicile Villa Christina was built in 2008. It's located directly across the fabulous bay of Nas. The apartment has a big terrace with view towards the sea and the nearby river valley. Especially nice is the sunset of Nas and the proximity to the beach. Here you can enjoy relaxed holidays away from main tourism.
Particularly suitable for couples and families with max. two children.

Stunning place for a simple holiday

Villa Christina is a simple place on a simple, yet magical island, away from the worst kind of Greek tourism. And simple is all you need here: rooms and balconies spacious enough for relaxing and eating, using the basic but well-enough equipped kitchen. Apart from its excellent beach (which was not as crowded in August as we had been led to believe it might be), Nas is a very good base for exploring the remote and adventurous western end of an island to which we have vowed to return. Thank you Edeltraud for your excellent and efficient service, and to Dimitri for giving us everything we needed, including picking up the hire car at one port and leaving it at the other. PS We are fellow HomeAway owners, and offer 445248 in Marbella, AndalucĂ­a, Spain + 811982 near Lucca, Tuscany, Italy + 812090 in Polzeath, Cornwall UK. All three have views that are in the same league as Villa Christina's wonderful sunset panoramas.

Amazing Nas bay

Nas bay is fantastic and the view from Villa Christina is amazing. We've seen quite all the sunsets from the terrace: it seems to be in the first line at theatre. The place where the sun enters in the sea is perfectly in line with the terrace and the beach. The owner was very organized for the rented car and the services in the house was very good. We are very glad we've rented this apartment and it will remain in our memories forever!!!

Sensationeller Ausblick!

Das war einer unserer schönsten Griechenlandurlaube ĂŒberhaupt (wir waren bereits auf sehr vielen Inseln) - nicht zuletzt wegen des tollen Apartments in der Villa Christina. ZunĂ€chst: Der Blick von der Terrasse auf die Bucht von Naz ist unschlagbar - mit wunderschönen SonnenuntergĂ€ngen. Die Villa Christina bietet alles fĂŒr einen erholsamen Urlaub, es ist sehr ruhig, man kann sich hier prima selbst versorgen (gute Ausstattung der KĂŒche - Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine etc. - alles da). Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt im Ort, der ab Juni geöffnet hat. Die Putzfrau kam regelmĂ€ĂŸig vorbei, der Vermieter hat ein BĂŒro im Ort und ist erreichbar, wenn man etwas braucht. Die Fenster haben Fliegenschutzgitter, es gab keine Probleme mit Moskitos (war bei unseren bisherigen Urlauben nicht immer so ...). Man muss auch sagen: Die Villa Christina ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail (also nicht nur funktional), ist zwar nicht ausschlaggebend fĂŒr uns gewesen, aber man fĂŒhlt sich hier gleich wohl ... Wir waren noch nirgends ein zweites Mal zum Urlaub (dafĂŒr gibt es einfach zu viele Inseln zu entdecken) - aber bei Ikaria werden wir sicher eine Ausnahme machen - wir kommen wieder :-).

Ikaria - ein etwas anderer Inselurlaub

Schotterpisten sind auf griechischen Inseln nichts besonderes. Die letzten paar Meter fĂŒhren ĂŒber eine solche zum Feriendomizil "Villa Christina" in Nas an der NordwestkĂŒste Ikarias. Angesichts der tollen Lage des Hauses mit Blick auf die Bucht von Nas und das dorthin fĂŒhrende idyllische FlĂŒĂŸchen und aufgrund des Zustandes und der Ausstattung unseres Appartments waren wir insgesamt begeistert. Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-VerhĂ€ltnis, nette Leute ringsherum, benachbart in Nas gemĂŒtliche Tavernen. Man grĂŒĂŸt sich, auch wenn man sich nicht kennt. Man hĂ€lt an, um einen unaufgefordert mit dem Auto mitzunehmen. Man ist herzlich. FĂŒr Wanderer ist Nas ein idealer Standort. Die Wanderwege sind recht gut beschildert und man bekommt fĂŒr 7,-- € eine 1:35.000 ÂŽer Wanderkarte. Wer dann fĂŒr den Abend und die Nacht auch noch Autan oder sonstige Anti-MĂŒcken-Mittel dabei hat (Fester und TĂŒren des Appartments haben MĂŒckenschutz, ist fĂŒr die Insel gut gerĂŒstet. Von der großen Terrasse des Appartments einen Sonnenuntergang mit reichlich Froschquaken aus dem Flußbett zu genießen, hat etwas. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden. Vielen Dank an den netten Vermieter und an die Vermittlerin!

Gran bella sorpresa

Non e' facile trovare una casa di villeggiatura che soddisfi a pieno tutte le aspettative : posizione, tranquillita', eleganza e comfort. Ebbene Villa Christina riesce a conciliare le aspettative del piu' esigente dei visitatori. La villa, dotata di un ampia terrazza ha una vista mozzafiato affacciandosi sopra la baia di NAS. L'esposizione a ovest mantiene la casa in ombra sino alle 13:00, quindi c'e' tutto il tempo per fare colazione e godersi al fresco il panorama dalla terrazza. Quando il sole raggiunge l'appartmento, i piu' saranno gia' in giro per l'isola o al mare. La cosa fantastica e' che intorno alle 20:00 dal vostro terrazzo avrete la possibilita di vedere uno dei piu' bei tramonti della Grecia : Il sole che cala dietro l'orizzonte di Nas. Solo per questo varrebbe la pena di alloggiare a Villa Christina ma la struttura ha altro da offrire a cominciare dall'arredamento : L'appartamento e' curato nei minimi dettagli. Il nostro aveva pareti di colore diverso per esaltare la luce naturale che filtra dalle imposte: Gialla la parete a Ovest dove il sole entra, Rosa la parete dietro al letto (in tinta con le luci da lettura) e bianco il soffitto. Le imposte sono in legno con zanzariera dando la possibilita' di dormire a finestra a aperte e godere il venticello notturno.. Condizionatori d'aria sono in dotazione ma noi non li abbiamo mai usati. All'esterno il piccolo giardino in fiori e pietra locale e' curato nei minimi dettagli dando all'appartmento un tocco di eleganza che non guasta. Il proprietario Demitris e' gentilissimo e sempre disponibile ( e' venuto a prenderci a mezzanotte, quando siamo sbarcati a Evidlos) e puo aiutarvi nel noleggio di un auto o motorino. Due parole su NAS, che puo' essere raggiunta in 2-3 minuti a piedi da Villa Christina : E' un piccolo centro con 4-5 ristoranti sulla scogliera con vista mare e 3-4 negozietti e 1 bar. E' un posto dove il tempo si e' fermato, dove la gente e' spontanea e amichevole dove forse molti di voi ritroveranno il vero se stesso. Ikaria e' l'isola Greca per i viaggiatori, non per i turisti. E' un isola spontanea da godersi per quello che e' non addomesticata per uso e consumo dei turisti.

A Dramatic & Stunning Setting

Villa Christina sits on a perch, overlooking the Bay of Nas and abutting the Chalares Canyon. From high above, the enormous terrace of our large, clean and new apartment offered unparalleled views and sunsets, as well as a soundtrack of distant waves at the beach and the hum and croak of the river and its frogs below in the canyon. The orchards and vineyards surrounding the house attracted a constant stream of butterflies. And because the Villa is a few minutes outside of Nas town by foot, it feels remote and private. Nonetheless, in just a few steps, a good meal overlooking one of the most dramatic beaches in Greece can be yours. The town itself is quite small and apart from the tavernas, studios for rent, a tourist office, and a ceramic studio, the "scene" is minimal. The confluence of the river and the sea at the Bay and the presence of a Sanctuary to Artemis creates a sense of mystical, natural experience. As a result, Nas attracts visitors who may be more interested in an off-the-beaten-path experience. The beach has its share of nudists, and the canyon is a great place to begin hiking along the river and into the mountainous interior. Dimitri, the owner of the Villa, was always accessible and generous with his time. He secured us bicycles to rent from a friend, and after a bit of a snafu with transportation on our end, he took us to the airport on the other side of the island-- almost a two-hour trip. We will be returning to this unique Greek island-- and to our little corner of it at Villa Christina.

FrĂŒhling in Villa Christina

Das war ein gelungener Tausch. Statt Panorama ein tolles Appartement in der Villa Christina. An exponierter Stelle des Ortes Nas mit einem ĂŒberwĂ€ltigenden Blick auf die Bucht. Die Anzahl der traumhaften SonnenuntergĂ€nge die wir von der großen Terrasse genossen haben, kann man gar nicht mehr beschreiben. Eine Übernachtung in Samos und von dort mit dem Schiff nach Evdilos. Im Hafen wartete ein Auto auf uns, mit Namensschild und SchlĂŒssel. Nur 15 Km bis nach Nas . Unterwegs konnten wir uns gleich mit Proviant versorgen.Die Villa liegt gleich am Anfang der berĂŒhmtesten Wanderstrecke Ikarias der Xalali-Schlucht. In unmittelbarer NĂ€he gibt es einige gute griechische Restaurants. Das Appartement war groß und sehr sehr ruhig. FĂŒr gestresste GroßstĂ€dter wie wir es sind, einfach ideal. Um all die wilden Schönheiten der Insel zu geniessen braucht man allerdings ein Auto. Danke nochmal an den Vermieter fĂŒr dieses gelungene TauschgeschĂ€ft und die schöne Zeit, die wir dortverleben durften. Die Zeit vom 12.05 -28.05.2010 war ideal fĂŒr uns. Bis auf ein Gewitter nachts und einem Regenschauer am Morgen hatten wir nur Sonne. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

A wonderful holiday - VacaciĂłnes perfectas

If you're looking for peace and quiet, wonderful people and beautiful scenery, Ikaria and the Villa Christina are perfect. Ikaria is really special, I didn't think there were any unspoilt Greek islands left, but Ikaria really surprised me - not a disco or an English breakfast in sight! The people are lovely - unhurried, relaxed, and so kind, and the food was WONDERFUL. Our apartment in the Villa Christina was beautiful, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and in a stunning setting, overlooking Nas beach and the ruins (amazing sunsets) and walking distance to 4 lovely restaurants and the beach. Edeltraud and Dimitris were excellent hosts - I've never met anyone as well organised and helpful as Edeltraud in my life! You really need a car here, taxis are extremely few and far between, (at least in May) but Dimitris can organise one for you. You have to leave the pace of modern life at home, and if you're planning to explore you have to be fine with windy, unpaved roads, sometimes with a steep drop, but I wholeheartedly recommend Ikaria and the Villa Christina to anyone with a bit of a sense of adventure, looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a wonderful, traditional, beautiful place. Thank you for everything, Edeltraud and Dimitris! Si buscas tranquilidad, buena gente y paisaje bonito, Ikaria y la Villa Christina son perfectos. Ikaria es muy especial, yo no pensaba que aun habia islas griegas no turisticamente explotadas, pero Ikaria me ha sorprendido - ni una discoteca ni luzes de neon! La gente es genial - sin prisa y muy amable, y la comida es MARAVILLOSA. Nuestro apartamento en la Villa Christina era muy bonito, muy limpio y bellamente amueblado, y y la situaciĂłn es genial, vistas a la playa de Nas y las ruinas (maravilloso puesta de sol) y se puede andar a 4 restaurantes y a la playa. Hay que tener un coche, los taxis son pocos (en mayo), pero Dimitris lo organiza. Hay que dejar la prisa de la vida moderna, y no tener miedo de carreteras estrechas junto a precipicios, pero yo recomiendo Ikaria y la Villa Christina para cualquiera que tenga amor por la aventura y que quiera escapar de la vida agitada en un sitio precioso y tradicional.

...ein Traum zum Erholen

Insel, Ort und Apartment waren einfach ein Traum. Sicher nicht fĂŒr Leute, die viel Trubel, Party oder sonst was suchen, aber fĂŒr die, die einfach mal runter kommen wollen ist die Villa Christina in Nas genauch das richtige. Ein sauberes, fĂŒr zwei Personen absolut ausreichendes Apartment mit einer riesigen Terrasse mit spektakulĂ€rem Blick ĂŒber Nas, die Bucht von Nas und das Meer. Der Ort besteht aus ganz wenigen HĂ€usern, von denen die meisten eigentlich Tavernen sind, deren Bedienungen und Besitzer unglaublich freundlich sind. Alles in allem: einfach zu empfehlen!

Posso dire di essere stata favorevolmente colpoita dalla bellezza dell'isola di Ikaria.Le informazioni apprese su Eco-Ikaria erano proprio rispondenti al vero. Talvolta ci si trovava di fronte a a lughi che nella reealtĂ  si presentavano spettacolari, selvaggi, meravigliosi. Gli abitanti: gentili, generosi, autentici.Per non parlare poi di Villa Christina,bellissima la casa, bellissima la posizione, unica, incantevole, romantica....che dire, una vacanza super. Porto un ricordo magico e forse vi ritornerĂČ anche la prossima estate perchĂš mai mi era accaduto di trovare un benessere psicofisico cosĂŹ perfetto in vacanza. Comlimenti!

Der phantastische Blick weit ĂŒber das Meer und hinunter zur kleinen Bucht von Nas hat uns ebenso begeistert wie die große Terrasse, von der aus man die tollen SonnenuntergĂ€nge oder den Sternenhimmel genießen kann. Das Appartement war ĂŒberaus gerĂ€umig, hell und ansprechend eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besitzer und Mitarbeiter waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, man fĂŒhlt sich trotzdem nicht abgeschieden, da es in der NĂ€he mehrere wirklich ausgezeichnete Tavernen und die Möglichkeit zum Einkaufen gibt. Ikaria selbst ist landschaftlich sehr attraktiv und fruchtbar und bietet wunderbare Wander- und Bademöglichkeiten. Sowohl der heimische Wein als auch das selbst angebaute GemĂŒse sind sehr schmackhaft. Da die Insel langgestreckt und relativ hoch ist, empfiehlt sich - zumindest zeitweise - ein Leihwagen.

Erholung pur

Ruhige Wohnung mit tollen Blick auf die Bucht von Nas mit einem sagenhaften Sonnenuntergang. Toller Service und Ausstattung(alle 3-4Tage neue HandtĂŒcher und BettwĂ€sche, SpĂŒlmittel und Schwamm, Toilettenpapier, MĂŒllentsorgung und gelegentlich FrĂŒchte oder GemĂŒse), was fĂŒr Ferienwohnungen selten ist. Absolute Erholung beim Baden an Sandstranden (NordkĂŒste), schnorcheln an den KiesstrĂ€nden (SĂŒdkĂŒste, vorallem die Seycellenbucht - ein Muss!), oder Wandern (Herrliche KieferwĂ€lder vorallem in der Gegend von Christos Raches und im Canyon des Staussees), Zeit der Entspannung und des Lesens, da keine deutschen Zeitungen, kein Radio und nur einen Fernseher mit 1 schlecht empfangenen Programm gibt. FĂŒr Romantiker abseits der großen Touristenströme eineTipp Restaurants und kleine "Tante Emma-LĂ€den" in Nas und Armenistis mit sehr guter QualitĂ€t. FĂŒr die vielseitigen Entdeckungen die die Insel birgt ist ein Mietwagen zu empfehlen (Ikaria-Holidays in Nas - gĂŒnstig und unkompliziert).

FrĂŒhsimmer auf Ikaria

Auch wenn es keine direkte Anreise gibt und man bei der Planung durchaus gedultig und flexibel sein muss, ist Ikaria eine Reise wert. Wir waren von Mitte Mai bis Anfang Juni in Nas und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Alles war noch grĂŒn, die Temperaturen noch so, dass man gut wandern konnte und das Meer auch schon so warm, dass auch das Baden Spaß machte. Die Villa Chrstina ist sehr schön gelegen und entspricht voll der Beschreibung. Die Vermieter sind ebenfalls sehr nett und immer um das Wohl der GĂ€ste bemĂŒht. Da es wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthaltes keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Nas gab war ein Mietwagen sinnvoll.

Urlaub auf Ikaria, Nas

Das Appartment war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, eine traumhafte Sicht auf die Bucht von Nas, die wir besonders am Abend beim Sonnenuntergang genossen. Kaffemaschine fehlte, wurde aber prompt von der Vermieterin zur VerfĂŒgung gestellt. Insgesamt war es ein toller Urlaub, die Landschaft ist ĂŒberwĂ€ltigend schön, sehr natĂŒrlich und ab 26. August waren auch wenige Touristen da. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und kĂŒmmern sich um das Wohl der GĂ€ste, wohnen nicht in der unmittelbaren NĂ€he. Alles hat geklappt mit dem Mietauto, das wir vom Vermieter mieten konnten. Leider hatten wir Nordwind und hohen Wellengang in der Bucht, so dass wir kaum baden konnten. Doch die Wanderungen und AusflĂŒge ins Innere der Insel entschĂ€digten dafĂŒr. Ein Urlaub fĂŒr naturverbundene Menschen, die sich erholen möchten und die UrsprĂŒnglichkeit einer ziemlich unberĂŒhrten Insel erleben möchten. Fantastische Weintrauben, gastfreundliche Einwohner.

Meer und Berge, Natur pur

Villa Christina in Nas auf Ikaria ist perfekt fĂŒr alle, die Ruhe inmitten wunderbarer Natur zwischen Meer und Bergen suchen. Einige Restaurants, InternetcafĂ©, Minimarkt und Busverbindung sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Unser Appartement war gerĂ€umig, sehr hell und freundlich und hatte sogar einen offenen Kamin. Alle Appartements haben einen großen Balkon zum Meer, von dem aus jeden Abend ein traumhafter Sonnenuntergang bestaunt werden kann. Die Besitzer der Appartements sind ĂŒberaus gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend!
