2 Units in one house!

Enjoy family beach time with two separate units- lots of time for togetherness and some privacy as well! This listing includes two complete units- a four bedroom, 2 bath, top floor unit with its own balcony, living room, and kitchen. And a separate 1 bedroom unit on the first floor with its own covered patio, kitchen, living area, and bathroom. Both units have amazing panoramic views of the beach and bay.

LOCATION.

This listing is beachfront on the Delaware Bay. Nature abounds! The bay ecosystem is home to so many birds, horshoe crabs, and sea life. We’ve even seen dolphins and eagles in the spring! Sunset walks are a must.

Although this part of the bay isn’t typically used for swimming, it is perfect for young children wading and water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking.

It’s a short 15-20 minute drive to Cape May and Wildwood beaches and boardwalks where you can swim in the ocean an explore boardwalks, restaurants, and shops.


INSIDE: the four bedroom

This 4br 2 bath unit sits on the top floor of the triplex, suited for families and quiet and kind groups (there are two fully separate units on first floor). "The Villas" is a small residential Delaware Bay community, 15-20 minutes from Cape May and Wildwood beaches.

You can hang out inside and enjoy the view from two comfy sectionals, a dining table that seats 10, or the breakfast bar with four stools. Big sliding glass doors, screens, and windows everywhere allow you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. At high tide, it looks like you’re on the bow of a ship! At low tide, you can walk out on the bay halfway to Delaware (ok not quite that far, but it’s wonderful to feel like you’re standing in the middle of the ocean). May and June bring thousands of horseshoe crabs to lay eggs on the shoreline right in front of the house.

The primary bedroom has a new king bed, 2 bedrooms have comfy/newer queen beds, and the fourth has a twin over full bunk. Every bedroom has a water view, but two are quite small, so please pack light! Bed linens and bath towels are included, but please BYO beach towels.

Two full baths: one is a tub/shower combo and the other is a glass surround shower. The kitchen and great room were fully renovated in 2021, and the entire unit was newly decorated then too.

Fast WiFi and Apple TV (no cable), with a bonus smaller tv in the bunkroom if you want to bring and plug in your gaming system.

INSIDE: the 1 bedroom:

The one bedroom apartment sits on the first floor and has floor/to-ceiling beach/bay views. The big sliding glass door allows you to be “out in nature” even when you’re inside. The main room has an updated kitchen with newer appliances, a comfy sofa that looks out at the bay (and can sleep one person in a pinch), a comfy swivel chair, tv with WiFi and Apple TV (but no cable), and a dining table.

Updated in 2025, the new queen bed is comfy with a new mattress and bedding as well as privacy shades and curtains. Bedding and towels are now included, and pack n play is available upon advance request at the time of booking.

OUTDOORS.

The one bedroom apartment has a lovely covered patio to provide shade for much of the day, or you can step off the patio into the large yard and bask in the sunshine!. The four bedroom unit has a sunny balcony with comfy chairs and a 4 person outdoor dining set.


There is a large shared yard with longer chairs, comfy outdoor seating, two large picnic tables, and outdoor Weber grill, some lawn games, and a solo hammock.

You won’t find better sunset views anywhere! Walk straight out the sliding glass doors to the patio or balcony, or another 40 feet and you’re right on the small but mighty beach.

Some beach toys, umbrellas, and many beach chairs are available for use.

EV:
A Universal Tesla charger is available to guests in any of the units. Seamlessly transitions between NACS and J1772 connectors, accommodating all major North American EVs including Tesla Vehicles. Integrated J1772 adapter to conveniently charge any electric vehicle.

RENTALS.

During summer season (mid June through Labor Day), rentals are typically offered on a weekly Saturday to Saturday basis, and must be booked in seven day increments unless there are unbooked weeks closer to the dates.

SWIMMING

Although not usually used for swimming, the small bay beach in front of the house is wonderful for walking, fishing, and exploring. There are local places to eat, grab ice cream, rent bikes or paddle boards, etc. Or head into the beach towns of Cape May and Wildwood to swim with lifeguards and surf the real waves. 8 Cape May beach tags available for your use during the summer..


LINENS:
Bedding and bath towels are provided. This includes sheets, quilts/comforters, washcloths, and bath towels.

PARTIES/EVENTS:
We are unable to host parties or events, including weddings, bachelor/bachelorette weekends, senior weeks, etc.

STORMS:
Please note that since the house is right on the water, storms can be impressively forceful! You may be asked to bring items indoors before severe storms, but we can usually get there to do it or help if needed. We do open the house year-round, but we don’t control the weather! So before booking, please consider how comfortable your group would be with front row seats if there is a storm while you are there. Unfortunately, we cannot refund for poor weather, but we can give you some great rainy day ideas. :)
