Access to this flat is via a stone spiral staircase leading to a landing shared with another flat (Estate).
Private entrance via a small staircase that leads to a large and bright room located directly under the roof of the tower, from which there is a magnificent view of the countryside. The room is divided into different areas. Near the stairs is the kitchen, equipped with a gas cooker, oven and refrigerator, and separated from the rest of the room by a waist-high wall. There is a dining area and a living room with a sofa bed and a decorative stone fireplace. To the left of the fireplace is the door to the bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath (and overhead shower). To the right of the fireplace is a room, accessible through an open archway. Here you will find the double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A third door leads to a small terrace with a raised passage leading to the owner's garden. A staircase leads from the passage to the communal garden area. Garden facilities are available. Both rooms can be furnished with double beds or one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.

This wonderful holiday flat is located in a castle in Lazio, right on the border with Tuscany.
The castle dates back to the 12th century and has a pentagonal base containing a main tower and two secondary towers connected by patrol walkways, as well as a drawbridge, one of 19 still in use in Italy. The castle rises above the Via Cassia and dominates the Paglia valley, with Monte Amiata in the background. Surrounded by forests and green valleys, this rare example of a medieval fortress survives in its original state and offers enchanting accommodation and wonderful hospitality, where you can enjoy history and culture without forgoing modern comforts.

The castle consists of 7 holiday flats. Three flats are located in the 14th century part of the fortress. Although they share a common path through the garden leading to the swimming pool, each is independent and has its own furnished outdoor area. The other four flats, which also have their own private outdoor spaces, are distributed around the medieval courtyard. The swimming pool (12x6 m, open from mid-May to mid-October) is accessed through an ancient and evocative tunnel under the castle. All flats have a wood-burning fireplace for cosy, romantic evenings.

The swimming pool is located in the large green park of the holiday complex, from whose terraces you can enjoy a beautiful view.
