2024 Beach trip
This is our 4th time staying at the Palms resort, we enjoy it every single time. Such a great resort, family friendly, great amenities. We will continue to choose the Palms resort when staying in Destin!

Great Location for Soccer Tournament
My family and I stayed here over a long weekend for my daughters soccer tournament and it was in the perfect location, right across the streets from the fields. Property was clean and our kids loved the pool.

Overall we had a great experience. Condo was very clean and no issues.
Only thing that could be a pain was the parking and long walk to each condo once parked.

Loved this condo
This place was very clean. Great view overlooking the pool. The only thing we didn’t like was the pillows, they were flat as a board, and the dryer took 2 cycles to dry your clothes, and maybe have some salt and pepper available. Just a few minor things. Overall we really enjoyed staying here. Would come here again.

Palms of Destin
Honestly, I couldn’t say anything better about this condo. It was very easy check-in. The resort was beautiful. Had a lot of accommodations there at the resort very close to several stores and gas stations. The only thing that I would even say was this is definitely not a real good beach access location, but we just drove every day and everything was fine. They do have a shuttle, which was amazing.

Family vacay
We had a fabulous week! Very clean and paerfect for our family of 5. Loved grabbing coffee each morning after we worked out in the spacious gym. The restaurant was delicious and the staff were all very friendly. We spent most of our time at the awesome pool, our kids loved it! The beaches are just a 2 minute drive and are stunning! This resort did not disappoint! We can not wait to book again!!!

Great location!
Very clean. Perfect location. Amenities are limited, if you are staying more than two nights I recommend bringing trash bags, coffee filters, paper towels, and laundry detergent. Also, bring beach towels! The resort does not have a towel service for their pools.

Great spot
Condo was clean and easy to access. They did send us the wrong gate code but everything else was excellent. They only gave us a couple dish washer tabs and trash bags so we had to go buy trash bags. Pool and hot tub were very nice and easy to access. i would stay again

Great little spot
This condo was perfect for a weekend girls getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were very nice. The beds were comfortable for mature adult women. Ages 81, 61, 53, 43, 40. It was nice to sit on the balcony overlooking the really nice, elaborate pool area and watch all the happenings. Its very close to walmart, so you can pick up groceries etc. Many restaurants nearby. We throughly enjoyed La Familglia Italian, about a block away. Definately would book again.

Small 2nd bedroom
It was clean. Could not access balcony from living room. Door would NOT open. No hair dryer. The 2nd bedroom was very small. If this place slept 6 it would be tight.

The property itself is very nice. They need more carts for bringing your luggage from the parking .
The room we had was not as clean. The bed covering on the twin bed was dirty. The sleeper sofa was broken and the mattress cover was dirty also. Needless to say we end up buying an air mattress. We did see a roach in the kitchen. The carpet was filthy. Having small children. this was not good. Some deep cleaning is needed.

Terrible Stay
The check in process was awful. Had to find a security guard to check us in. Took forever. That was not explained. Rooms AC wasn’t working properly so it was hot all night. Pull out couch was broken and covered in food crumbs.
Master bedroom bed was uncomfortable.
Called the management office they said they would call back in 30 minutes. They didn’t ever contact me till after midnight.
Would not recommend staying here

Wonderful Family Vacation
First of all, we had a wonderful time at this property. We spent most of our time at the pool and hot tub. (The large pool is not heated but we still swam between the large pool and the hot tub. It was refreshing and fun.) There is a smaller pool that was heated and a lot of families spent time in that pool. The room was clean, although the check-in process was not ideal (keep reading). The parking lot was pretty close to the room, if we went the back way. The location was convenient when loading and unloading, and frankly, we avoided crowds so it was a plus. The pool was also close, which was perfect. The kids' room has a captain's twin bed with a pull-out trundle underneath for the second twin. There is a bathroom off of this room as well as another one in the master bedroom. The balcony overlooks the pool and the bar/activities area and noise was not a problem. The beach was a 3-5 minute drive for us and was beautiful. The only downside is that we were given the wrong code to get into the room. After a little confusion and hauling our stuff up and down the elevator, we were able to get a hold of VRBO and they gave us the correct room code. (The resort did not have it.) Also, we didn't have sheets and bed linen for the pull-out bed, which we needed. But that was also given to us later that day after a second call to VRBO. Other than those initial hiccups, it was a wonderful stay. The resort workout room was clean and great to use. This was a wonderful memory for our family. It wasn't a huge place but we knew that most of our time would be spent out of the room and for a family of 6, it was very doable. We did some cooking in the room and they had what we needed to make a meal-although no spices or salt and pepper, which is typical. The washer/dryer are in the kids' bedroom. It was nice to have! Also, the black-out curtains were fantastic and our whole family slept great. Thank you for allowing us stay here. We made some wonderful memories with our family.
